Calling the customer care line for @santanderuk makes you lose the will to live. I hung up after the third time the automated voice told me to inexplicably make a recording of my own voice for “security purposes”.

@santanderuk Objectively the worst bank in the country and should have been closed down ever since the scandal where they didn't pie out money to the customers of bereaved relatives, one doesn't expect much integrity from a bank but Santander really take the cake.

Absolutely shocking service from @PostOffice & @santanderuk. You adapt your life to suit the changes the banking industry makes and use the post office to post a cheque into my account. It never arrives (Day 7) I politely ask the post office for advice and get told
