    @skyhelpteam are there issues in Worcestershire? Your checker app says no known issues in my area, yet my broadband is down, and that I need an engineer visit, but won’t let me book one. Is that your way of avoiding your Ofcom obligations?

    @SkyHelpTeam The issue yesterday (saying resolved) about not being able to connect to a stream on SkyGo is still going on - neither my laptop nor tablet can connect to a stream (live or pre-recorded). My internet is fine (eg iPlayer will stream)

    @okeyblokey @SkyHelpTeam Thankfully we’ve not been hit financially as many have & I suppose the inevitable price rises are something that every @SkyUK user has come to expect. Aside from the awful quality broadband we get & the lack of use we get from the TV we pay for, my main gripe would be the glib

    @SkyHelpTeam It seems ok this morning after rebooting but every night the WiFi signal to internet is broke for at least an hour this has been happening for at least 2 weeks

    @jammierooroo @SkyUK put your parents onto TPS and also get an answerphone to pick up all calls. Then she can only take calls from familiar numbers. There will be a cooling off period of 14 days so you can cancel the sky contract.

    @JAU_4 @SkyUK Thank you, I know she’s in the cooling off period, but they’d be cancelling it either way. Surely if a customer is crying on the call then the salesperson is under obligation to bring the call to a swift end. I’m furious that she’s been treated like this.

    @jammierooroo @Su15100307 @SkyUK And then spend 20+ mins in a queue listening to piped music before losing the will to live and hanging up. If you can add packages online then you should be able to cancel / remove them online too

    @jammierooroo @SkyUK My mum gave me permission to speak to them & it took around 2 weeks to resolve. They admitted it was insensitive, poor judgement & customer service given circumstances. Contract was cancelled with no penalty & mum rec’d compensation as a goodwill gesture.

    Really not happy with @SkyUK They called my elderly MIL today, a vulnerable woman who only lost her husband to months ago, and harangued her into a 24 month contract at £170 per month!!! She was crying as she came off the call and is so upset and distressed that she has called me for help. I have the same package that she’s been offered and I pay £110 a month, so they are clearly just ripping off the elderly!! Absolutely disgusting. Can’t call them as I am not with her for authorisation until Monday, but they will be hearing from me then!
