Catherine Gray (@cathgray23) reported from Horbury, England@virginmedia We discussed the Oomph package which I initially agreed to then changed my mind within the 14 days, informed the customer service guy, by phone, text and email, he said he would cancel. The engineer came and documented that TV had been refused and therefore didn’t install

-
Graeme Rayner 💙 (@Gag_N_Bone_Man) reported from Dewsbury, England@virginmedia I'm moving to sky, saving a tenner a month and adding sports and movies. I might be back in 18 months. Seems like hopping between providers is the only way to get a decent deal. It's perverse logic. Surely cheaper to retain a customer than gain one? But no, so I'm off.
-
Paul Knowles (@ScampyFryNinja) reported from Drighlington, England@virginmedia your internets gone down in BD11 area. its been off about 15mins now. Router has the red ring around it.
-
Pippa Oldfield (@PippaKOldfield) reported from Wakefield, England@AssistanceVm @TranslatioNinja @virginmedia That’s a bit of a salty reply. I think your customer was referring to various barriers in the way of cancelling her contract, not the difficulty involved in selecting call options. She’s still been unable to cancel and is being pressured her to keep her contract.
-
James Bushnell Snr (@jamesb338) reported from Huddersfield, England@virginmedia I've done this and no one can help me I just end up wasting my time it's taken two weeks to get this far

Guy Leech (@guyrleech) reported from Wakefield, England@vmbusiness strike yet again!😠 Not only are they charging me £7/month for 4G backup that doesn't work, they are now charging me £4 for paper bills that I never asked for. Oh, and still say I owe them money despite me overpaying due a to a red letter that they took by DD later

Graeme Rayner 💙 (@Gag_N_Bone_Man) reported from Dewsbury, England@virginmedia Cos I've been a customer for well over a decade and I'm sick of seeing new customers get given the moon on a stick to join. I reckon your sales team would let a new customer have a night with their wives to sign them up. But loyal customers get nothing.

Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Alexander McCloy (@alexalexfyi) reported@Ofcom @virginmedia tactics still awful when trying to leave - harassing with calls that are irrelevant and could be emailed. Agents saying ‘no’ to requests to raise complaints and spoken to in appalling manor.
-
Peter Miller (@PeteinExeter) reported@virginmedia another outage in the EX4 area. 3 in a matter of a week. Looking forward to speaking to your complaints dept. next week as I will be cancelling my account
-
Martin Whelan (@mairtinofaolain) reported@PaulOBrienKil @VirginMediaNews @VirginMediaIE Currently swapping to Digiweb for broadband. Customer service seems to be their thing. A sales rep from Eir annoyed me with his pushiness, and Virgin Media ain't that great a price anymore
-

Paul oc (@PaulOco84535827) reported@VodafoneIreland I’m getting virgin media tomorrow morning **** Vodafone keeps dropping out and went off like this the other day aswell ****** wankers
-
Malcolm Sillick (@Malcolm_Sillick) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE Lellani, it's not just EE, it's everyone. Even those on cable (Virgin Media) still have to have the phone plugged into the router. Seems like a good idea, until you get a power cut (which can be supported by a back-up battery, which is NOT given as standard) If the internet goes down, then so does your phone. Great if you have a mobile, but if you live in an area with a poor mobile signal, so reply on 'Wi-Fi calling' in the house, then when the internet goes down, you also have no mobile service. It's called progress!!
-
Robert Grieve (@robert_grieve) reportedTrying to upgrade my TV package with @virginmedia yet can’t get through to speak to someone. Gave up after being on hold for an hour. Appalling customer experience 🤯📺
-
Paul O'Brien (@PaulOBrienKil) reported@virginmedia @MizzCQ I strongly urge anyone thinking of subscribing to @virginmedia to NOT do it. Took over a hour to get through to customer service & they still won't fix their mistake. Shambles of an organisation.
