    6) Technician says nothing he can do & that, despite Virgin promising it was, tell customer their house is not in fact Virgin Media ready. 7) Wait for disgruntled customer to ring them. 8) Tell customer earliest they can get another technician out is 2.5 weeks.

    9) Offer nothing in the way of a discount or compensation. Fill the call with long awkward silences until customer hangs up 10) Wait for customer to change to @BT & for it all to blow over. At this point, I'm hoping @richardbranson will be personally installing our @virginmedia.

    @virginmedia 'My Virgin Media', where you can look at your account details is down for maintenance but has been all week. I can't register and there's no indication as to when it'll be resolved.

    A lesson in terrible customer service from @virginmedia: 1) Tell customer their new home is Virgin Media ready 2) Send the wrong wiring to new address 3) Don't send a technician over for 2 days 4) Promise the technician will be there between 8am-2pm 5) Technician arrives at 5pm

    Long weekend. Last night our @virginmedia broadband went down (roadworks cut cable so not their bad). No internet. No Alexa. No Netflix. Kids realised that Dad was at home and the wife spoke to me. Strange times.

    @virginmedia regretting leaving Sky already! Stone walls means connectivity issues. Promised an extender on subscription - none came . 3-5 wait so ring doorbell inoperable leaving me vulnerable to bully next door. 2nd extender request will take me past cooling off - v sneaky!

    @virginmedia I took a new contract out which includes Netflix. I have tried calling to resolve this, WhatsApp and other means and am still being let down here two months in. I am very disappointed sadly.
