I hope my number is not in the hands of a scammer who is spoofing it. If it is a data breach, you have to tell us within 72 hours of your discovery. Please clarify.

@trainfanmatt @ThreeUK It is not about "wound up" it is about data protection law. I personally don't think it is massive problem but a clear explanation would be best in this scenario. I don't know how familiar you are with the responsibilities of a data controller under GDPR?

@trainfanmatt @ThreeUK I think the concern is that this incident has signs that make it look like there was a data breach. This may, or may not have happened. If it did, there are consequences for those affected. Three should be sensitive to this and provide a clear narrative on what has happened.
