@ArsenalStaffs22 @btsportfootball @btsport Yes I know that, doesn't change the fact Premier league sides are still spending big to the point where it doesn't matter if you're elite, you can still spend fortunes. As for Leicester, I'm not sure that was the spending that stopped them, sokw bad decisions at that club recently

Excellent news form @btbusinesscare my December bill includes £245 for an engineer visit that the engineer concluded was an intermittent line problem at their end. So, still got vaguely dodgy internet and even though BTs responsibility they expect payment.

@CarolynOtley @cumpstonarchive @bt_uk Current mitigation should be energy distribution networks supplying generators for longer power outages. As for telecoms, UPS/Battery backups but would only last a few hours at max. Amazon have solar battery packs to charge mobiles which may help too. pt1

@CarolynOtley @bt_uk I agree Carolyn, the first time I’d heard about this. Our reception is so poor we can only use mobile phone via broadband 😡

@bt_uk Your Internet delivery speeds are so slow, it is virtually impossible to watch a programme, on a streaming service without constant buffering. 😱😱😱😡
-
Carolyn Otley
(@CarolynOtley) reported
@jamclarkey @cumpstonarchive @bt_uk I think the issue here is a lack of rural proofing. Yes, on average most power cuts are short. But when you live in a remote area, they tend to last much longer, you’re far less likely to have a mobile phone signal, and you’re far less likely to be able to drive to safety. 1/2

@bt_uk It's 12C in here and you want me to turn it down! Sadists. BT please concentrate on broadband, Work From Home & Local Office solutions. This would help cut domestic commutes saving millions of tonnes in carbon emissions from fuel consumption & infrastructure. #ClimateAction
