  • thekuntz69 aeris daddy (@thekuntz69) reported from Barnet, England

So @Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS and idea if the service is going to come back on in London today? Also it would be a good idea to update your service indicator on your website in line with what your CS is explaining on the live chat.

  • erossiniuk Henry (@erossiniuk) reported from Wandsworth, England

@Hyperoptic engineering works between 9 and 11. Basically, I don’t have internet and I can’t work. After a rocky start, this is another bad situation. Why don’t you do this jobs during the night?

  • The_Stockboy Alex Pasfield (@The_Stockboy) reported from London, England

@Hyperoptic is there any update on when service will be restored to SE10 customers? Or at least when an engineer can be expected on-site?

  • thekuntz69 aeris daddy (@thekuntz69) reported from Barnet, England

So will @HyperopticCS or @Hyperoptic update the residents of Beaufort park NW9 as to what’s actually happening with the outage or will they just ignore us again and slink off for the evening? I’m going for the latter.

  • chawlakapali Kapali (@chawlakapali) reported from London, England

@Hyperoptic u have increased yearly commitment contract prices by 25% !!!! But for a new customer who starts with Hyperoptic can still avail the same price I was paying last year. This is insane ! Why this disparity between old and new customer? Plus you hold monopoly in my area.

  • chawlakapali Kapali (@chawlakapali) reported from London, England

@HyperopticCS @Hyperoptic And being in customer support you should have some respect for GDPR. That’s the reason I did not post people’s names. I have their full addresses with@post code if only u cared to DM n ask. #unethicalHyperoptic

  • SonOfCarl Veracious Rex ✊🏾 🇧🇧 Smiley 🟠⛅ (@SonOfCarl) reported from Harrow Weald, England

Hyperopic is down. Circa 11pm. Appreciate the service but it would be nice if their Comms was better in moments like this. Even a template email would be better than having to trawl Twitter for answers #Hyperopticdown @Hyperoptic

  • thekuntz69 aeris daddy (@thekuntz69) reported from Barnet, England

And of course no update. Shocking customer service from @Hyperoptic and @HyperopticCS . 3 updates in 24 hours for an issue affecting 100s of accounts is not acceptable.

  • hamidetekin Gezgin Kiz (@hamidetekin) reported from Stratford, England

Our internet is not working at least for an hour! Can you provide an update @Hyperoptic

  • thekuntz69 aeris daddy (@thekuntz69) reported from Barnet, England

Any news on the NW9 internet outage as it enters hour 27 @Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS ? The engineer has been on site for 3 hours now and your email said it would be fixed by 530 pm and it’s now after 7pm? An update that contained some information would be a good start.

  • AlexRM Alex (@AlexRM) reported from Camberwell, England

Hey @Hyperoptic I’ve just spent over an hour waiting to speak to someone in your Support team when the line hung up. Not impressed. Still waiting for my newly installed internet to start work. It’s now been 48 hours after install and still nothing…

  • GaborPfalzer Gabor (@GaborPfalzer) reported from Kensington, England

@BigupJeff @virginmedia Yeah, unfortunately. We are okay with the service, that’s why we kept it in the new one, but the customer service is a joke. Had @Hyperoptic once, was absolutely brilliant. Too bad it’s rarely available.

  • kalpitha_reddy Kalpitha Reddy (@kalpitha_reddy) reported from Poplar, England

@Hyperoptic any timeframe on when the Wi-Fi issues will be resolved please. It’s been fairly 14+ hours since the outage in Canary Wharf.

  • erossiniuk Henry (@erossiniuk) reported from Wandsworth, England

@Hyperoptic not only the internet connection is down but also my Wi-Fi at home is down 🤬 what kind of engineering works are you doing?

  • agnesjuliet Dr Agnes Arnold-Forster (@agnesjuliet) reported from Camberwell, England

I can’t work from home today because my @Hyperoptic wifi has now been broken for nine days, I can’t cycle because it’s too hot, and the only form of air conditioned public transport is on a restricted service 😔

  • hamidetekin Gezgin Kiz (@hamidetekin) reported from Stratford, England

@JustAnAntiDepp1 @Hyperoptic No, still not working for me

  • erossiniuk Henry (@erossiniuk) reported from Wandsworth, England

@Hyperoptic you promise an activation in 15 minutes. There are 5 days I’m waiting for it without any explanation. If this is the beginning, what could it happen when I am a customer? #badfeeling

  • SpeakerWarren Warren King (@SpeakerWarren) reported from Stratford, England

    Will never use @Hyperoptic again

  • The_Stockboy Alex Pasfield (@The_Stockboy) reported from London, England

@gregpower @Hyperoptic In all honesty it has been great for a number of years. But I’m the last couple of months they seem to have hit problems. This is the second time I have experienced a major outage with them.

  • AM_UK19BONG Abhijit Majumdar (@AM_UK19BONG) reported from Hillingdon, England

@HyperopticCS @Hyperoptic . I have to change address after staying with ypu for 1 year. The new address they can not provide service. Now you want me to pay for remaining term. This is unethical.

Hyperoptic Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • SoniaMUArtist Sonia Sharma (@SoniaMUArtist) reported

@ADT so apparently ADT have never heard of @Hyperoptic as an internet provider and so it’s not compatible with their alarms! Interesting. Maybe I’ll change my alarm company to one not stuck in time. Ridiculous

  • GascoyneEstate Gascoyne Residents Association (@GascoyneEstate) reported

@FOSHgardens @Hyperoptic Brilliant news, our residents are happy with connection and customer service. We are waiting for service to our community centre.

  • HowdyHeree Hordy (@HowdyHeree) reported

@SleepySiouxsie @virginmedia Hey hey!! I'm with Sky, it's not the fastest but it's solid as heck. Only had a couple of issues a few months back and in November as it crashed for an hour or so during a 24 hour stream! Also heard reaaallyy good things about Hyperoptic too, they're like 500mbs up and down!

  • MaxTGam Maxim Gamble (@MaxTGam) reported

@CarrieHFletcher I'm with Zen. They (like almost everyone) use BT infrastructure, but it's their excellent customer service that sets them apart. Or if you have an independent service like Community Fibre or Hyperoptic available in your location... Lucky you

  • charliekiss Charlie Kiss 🌹 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇨🇴🇪🇺🏳️‍⚧️ (@charliekiss) reported

@Hyperoptic Currently your internet service is not working in E3 area..it’s down.

  • silkyrich Richard Morgan (@silkyrich) reported

@hyperoptic This time last year your engineers finished installing the cabling to my street. I can see the green fibre cable outside my house on the telephone pole. I signed up immediately for your service. My order has since been in limbo for a *YEAR*. What's the hold up?

  • ross_k Ross K (@ross_k) reported

Missing @Hyperoptic broadband. 3yrs of faultless service. Moved home, not available here, @virginmedia was the only option. Made me realise how I never had to think about my internet connection in 3yrs. Now every week I have dropouts or outages. Embarrassing for home working.

  • iHeartless_Kayy Heartless Kayy (@iHeartless_Kayy) reported

@Sonia19020057 @Hyperoptic Sorry to hear that, I've had iasue too but they've always try to help and solved my problems almost immediately. I've been with them for over two years and still keep my words, they are great.

  • Dafydd_62 Dafydd 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇮🇪=🇪🇺 🛸 (@Dafydd_62) reported

@trisjarrett @HyperopticCS @Hyperoptic That's bad. My only experience was the cheap modems they used failed twice but since I've been given a Nokia its a lot better. Sadly, you have to be on 500mb or more speed.

  • FellarPauline John (@FellarPauline) reported

@CommunityFibre whoever this Chris guy is that works for you, you really need sack him. Promised to call me back over 2 weeks ago to sort my number issue. Ridiculous. Stick to @Hyperoptic
