Veracious Rex ✊🏾 🇧🇧 Smiley 🟠⛅ (@SonOfCarl) reported from Harrow Weald, EnglandHyperopic is down. Circa 11pm. Appreciate the service but it would be nice if their Comms was better in moments like this. Even a template email would be better than having to trawl Twitter for answers #Hyperopticdown @Hyperoptic
-
Alex Pasfield (@The_Stockboy) reported from London, England@gregpower @Hyperoptic In all honesty it has been great for a number of years. But I’m the last couple of months they seem to have hit problems. This is the second time I have experienced a major outage with them.
-
Alex Pasfield (@The_Stockboy) reported from London, England@Hyperoptic is there any update on when service will be restored to SE10 customers? Or at least when an engineer can be expected on-site?
-
aeris daddy (@thekuntz69) reported from Barnet, EnglandSo @Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS and idea if the service is going to come back on in London today? Also it would be a good idea to update your service indicator on your website in line with what your CS is explaining on the live chat.
-
Kalpitha Reddy (@kalpitha_reddy) reported from Poplar, England@Hyperoptic any timeframe on when the Wi-Fi issues will be resolved please. It’s been fairly 14+ hours since the outage in Canary Wharf.
-
aeris daddy (@thekuntz69) reported from Barnet, EnglandSo will @HyperopticCS or @Hyperoptic update the residents of Beaufort park NW9 as to what’s actually happening with the outage or will they just ignore us again and slink off for the evening? I’m going for the latter.
-
Gabor (@GaborPfalzer) reported from Kensington, England@BigupJeff @virginmedia Yeah, unfortunately. We are okay with the service, that’s why we kept it in the new one, but the customer service is a joke. Had @Hyperoptic once, was absolutely brilliant. Too bad it’s rarely available.
-
Dr Agnes Arnold-Forster (@agnesjuliet) reported from Camberwell, EnglandI can’t work from home today because my @Hyperoptic wifi has now been broken for nine days, I can’t cycle because it’s too hot, and the only form of air conditioned public transport is on a restricted service 😔
-
Alex (@AlexRM) reported from Camberwell, EnglandHey @Hyperoptic I’ve just spent over an hour waiting to speak to someone in your Support team when the line hung up. Not impressed. Still waiting for my newly installed internet to start work. It’s now been 48 hours after install and still nothing…
-
Henry (@erossiniuk) reported from Wandsworth, England@Hyperoptic not only the internet connection is down but also my Wi-Fi at home is down 🤬 what kind of engineering works are you doing?
-
Abhijit Majumdar (@AM_UK19BONG) reported from Hillingdon, England@HyperopticCS @Hyperoptic . I have to change address after staying with ypu for 1 year. The new address they can not provide service. Now you want me to pay for remaining term. This is unethical.
-
Henry (@erossiniuk) reported from Wandsworth, England@Hyperoptic you promise an activation in 15 minutes. There are 5 days I’m waiting for it without any explanation. If this is the beginning, what could it happen when I am a customer? #badfeeling
-
Kapali (@chawlakapali) reported from London, England@HyperopticCS @Hyperoptic And being in customer support you should have some respect for GDPR. That’s the reason I did not post people’s names. I have their full addresses with@post code if only u cared to DM n ask. #unethicalHyperoptic
-
Gezgin Kiz (@hamidetekin) reported from Stratford, England@JustAnAntiDepp1 @Hyperoptic No, still not working for me
-
Gezgin Kiz (@hamidetekin) reported from Stratford, EnglandOur internet is not working at least for an hour! Can you provide an update @Hyperoptic
-
aeris daddy (@thekuntz69) reported from Barnet, EnglandAnd of course no update. Shocking customer service from @Hyperoptic and @HyperopticCS . 3 updates in 24 hours for an issue affecting 100s of accounts is not acceptable.
-
Kapali (@chawlakapali) reported from London, England@Hyperoptic u have increased yearly commitment contract prices by 25% !!!! But for a new customer who starts with Hyperoptic can still avail the same price I was paying last year. This is insane ! Why this disparity between old and new customer? Plus you hold monopoly in my area.
-
Henry (@erossiniuk) reported from Wandsworth, England@Hyperoptic engineering works between 9 and 11. Basically, I don’t have internet and I can’t work. After a rocky start, this is another bad situation. Why don’t you do this jobs during the night?
-
aeris daddy (@thekuntz69) reported from Barnet, EnglandAny news on the NW9 internet outage as it enters hour 27 @Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS ? The engineer has been on site for 3 hours now and your email said it would be fixed by 530 pm and it’s now after 7pm? An update that contained some information would be a good start.
-
Abhijit Majumdar (@AM_UK19BONG) reported from Hillingdon, England@Hyperoptic Hyperoptic policies are horrible for the customers. I have been withbthem for a year and looks like their only goal is making customers life misreable rather than improving service.

-
RomanS 🇬🇧🇪🇺 (@RSPshout) reported@rudybonnier @HyperopticCS Same here - are you SE16? It's happening at 20:30 everyday, exactly at 20:30. They're doing something with the service clearly from 20:30 onwards this week, that's meaning they need to take the service offline and not being honest about it. #hyperoptic @Hyperoptic
-
Angelica Matota (@angelica_matota) reported@virginmedia I have received a bill for £214.20 and it has gone up to £277 today. Since 11/2/21 I haven’t been provided a service from virgin because my phone line was transferred to hyperoptic. When I mentioned this virgin asked me to pay £140 to deactivate the account.
-
Meln (@mel____z_n) reportedYo @Hyperoptic - my internet has been down all day, still not coming back online - really, really need this sorted as no one in the house has been able to work
-
RomanS 🇬🇧🇪🇺 (@RSPshout) reported@rudybonnier @HyperopticCS @Hyperoptic 48 hour loss of service. Seems like something very suspicious is going on given going down bang on 20:30 everyday but they denied anything deceitful going on. Maybe someone on the building surging it everyday at 20:30. This is the building beside the pub and the dock ;)
-
Kyle 'Olly' Walker (@Kyleyuu) reportedUtterly disappointed with @Hyperoptic and @HyperopticCS team. Due to unfortunate circumstances out of my control I’ve had to terminate my fixed term contract as the landlord has sold the property and source last minute accommodation. Now charged with a hefty cancellation fee!
-
Dr Nick Hazel (@DrNickHazel) reportedJust got another email from @Hyperoptic saying my service will now be down for another 3 hours on the day before. What is going on @HyperopticCS? Should I be looking for a new broadband supplier? Speed is important but is useless without a reliable service.
-
HyperopticCS (@HyperopticCS) reported@Kyleyuu We truly are sorry, Kyle. For that reason, we also provide monthly rolling. We do offer the possibility of transferring the service to your new location free of charge, so if you are moving somewhere serviceable by Hyperoptic, we'd gladly transfer your service there!
-
Equinox Features (@newspics) reported25hrs so far with a total loss of #broadband service frm @vmbusiness #VirginMedia missed deadlines for restoring service Cust svcs are useless, can’t give any meaningful updates, manager hasn’t called back as promised. Sooner we can move to @GNetworkComms / @Hyperoptic the better
-
Jon Aldridge (@JonAldridge21) reportedI see a lot of tweets praising @Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS but I’ve had poor or no internet quite a few times in the last few weeks, and it’s down again completely today. What’s going on?
-
Violette Vérité (@_vio_) reported@Hyperoptic internet has been down for two hours and while we’re all working from home it’s quite a problem. Any update on when it’s coming back?
