Stamford Hill Estate (@FOSHgardens) reported from Hackney, EnglandFrom @Hyperoptic “At this moment we cannot take installation orders on this site. While the system showed it as a live site (and it will be) it showed it prematurely. We will have to mark this site down, as we cannot finish the installation of service.”
-
Stamford Hill Estate (@FOSHgardens) reported from Hackney, England@SamPallis @Hyperoptic They’ve said they’ll call but nothing yet. We don’t know how many residents have signed up but it was pushed heavily via direct mail. We need to know what they mean by suspended. @Hyperoptic have covered the estate in wires so they must either use them or take them down.

Steve Race (@steve_race) reported from Islington, England@vmrampulla @virginmedia @Hyperoptic Sadly had hyperoptic in my old flat, which was great and neither they nor G-Network are yet available on my street 🙄🙄🙄
-
Mark Kelly (@GlueWhichBinds) reported from Walthamstow, England@jeffsprogress @virginmedia @Hyperoptic I was with Hyperoptic for 4 years, not a single outage I can recall. Swapped to Virgin Media last autumn because they offered a cheaper and better deal. Had nothing but problems since. And now they have the temerity to hike the bills. When I can swap back to Hyperoptic, I will.

Alex Tarrant (@AlexTarrant4) reported@Hyperoptic We’ve been without internet since Sunday and it’s now Tuesday evening. We’ve had to repeatedly call for updates, spend long periods on hold, and still have no clear explanation or resolution timeframe in W3 Area. Told engineers attended today but still no timeframe.

Dan Anderson (@FourthStreetDan) reported@TomThornhill_2 @Hyperoptic My connection is back. I’m call it at 1:42:26 and no response. New customer service record for me. Good luck :)
-
David. Eff the WEF. ❤️CO₂. #GLO. (@electrodrummer) reported@Hyperoptic Bad news. Waited in chat queue for 1.5 hours with zero response. Gave up.
-
George Pericleous (@GeorgiePeri) reported@Hyperoptic - I live in Colindale, in the Trinity Square development and our entire block hasn’t been able to access the Internet since yesterday. Your customer service is impossible to get hold of + your website is reporting there is no issue even though 30 people say there is!
-
Keith Underhill (@keithunder) reported@hyperoptic, your business technical support is rubbish and an embarrassment to me. We were supposed to be down for 3 hours Thursday afternoon. 14 hours later, nothing. No one bothered to tell me when our connection will be restored. Apparently there is a simple fix.
-
Craig & Friends (@CraigAndFriends) reported@Hyperoptic hi. Your service people just destroyed our Internet while putting in cabling for another flat in the building. This is the SECOND TIME and we need this fixed IMMEDIATELY. The hold time when calling is hours long. DM me or I’ll go on a campaign

Lucy Ⓥ 🌱 (@lulu_veganx) reportedStill no service but Hyperoptic are in the area so I am hoping this will be resolved today. This is now day 7. Groundhog Day @Hyperoptic @donedgley1 @mariucha77

Intelligence Service 🕵🏽♂️ (@london_Iran) reported@bikhialoo 1- Good neighborhood is better than good home infra or larger flat 2- Check warm water during visit 3- Prefer to have a on-site management 4- Access to under/over ground and ELZ line is the key 5- Do lots of search, don't settle with the first flat 6- Avoid Dexters. Chase Evans if better letting agency. 7- Avoid east, go west if possible 8- Check if the home is damp or not. Check molding 9- Check consoul tax and make sure it's reasonable 10- Check avg monthly water/electricity price 11- Check if Hyperoptic has installation in the building or not 12- If you like a flat to rent, check RightMove for the building history. There might be signs of issue 13- Avoid places near council homes. 14- Take pictures of the flat if you decide to rent. This can help resolve disputes later on. 15- Always use a letting agency. Do not deal with the landlord directly. Good Luck.
