@jeffsprogress @virginmedia @Hyperoptic I was with Hyperoptic for 4 years, not a single outage I can recall. Swapped to Virgin Media last autumn because they offered a cheaper and better deal. Had nothing but problems since. And now they have the temerity to hike the bills. When I can swap back to Hyperoptic, I will.

  • FOSHgardens
Stamford Hill Estate (@FOSHgardens) reported from Hackney, England

@SamPallis @Hyperoptic They’ve said they’ll call but nothing yet. We don’t know how many residents have signed up but it was pushed heavily via direct mail. We need to know what they mean by suspended. @Hyperoptic have covered the estate in wires so they must either use them or take them down.

Steve Race (@steve_race) reported from Islington, England

@vmrampulla @virginmedia @Hyperoptic Sadly had hyperoptic in my old flat, which was great and neither they nor G-Network are yet available on my street 🙄🙄🙄

  • FOSHgardens
Stamford Hill Estate (@FOSHgardens) reported from Hackney, England

From @Hyperoptic “At this moment we cannot take installation orders on this site. While the system showed it as a live site (and it will be) it showed it prematurely. We will have to mark this site down, as we cannot finish the installation of service.”

  • FOSHgardens
Stamford Hill Estate (@FOSHgardens) reported from Hackney, England

Looking forward to a message from @HyperopticCS. We were told that our service would start w/c 16 April. Can we have an update as that didn’t happen.@Hyperoptic

@GeneticGenesis @Hyperoptic I know, I bet they're just overprovisioning the network and overselling. If you look at reddit there's plenty of recent posts with the same **** download speed issue.

  • pdavdra
    Davdra (@pdavdra) reported

@Hyperoptic why do you insist on doing your maintenance work during working hours? Causes major issues with working arrangements!

  • woosen7717
    van woosen (@woosen7717) reported

@Hyperoptic @Hyperoptic My internet keeps randomly dropping out, multiple times in a single month, and each outage lasts days. On top of that, calling support often means waiting 30–40 minutes just to be told it can’t be fixed. This level of instability is really annoying

  • nenamewilldo
    John Younghusband (@nenamewilldo) reported

@Hyperoptic CS12010207 you don't answer the phone and your robot doesn't speak or understand English, I have sent an email to support however I don't want a telecoms supplier that takes 48 hours to respond cancel the install booking for Friday 1st May

@liam_richards @Hyperoptic Hahahah. Okay my customer service rep must’ve decided to give me the ultimate worst case scenario. Have a good week!

@Hyperoptic is there a planned outage that you haven’t informed about? get your **** together, fix my internet!

@S_Fleary1 Depends on which network covers your area Vodafone is decent Hyperoptic too

  • hartwright_tom
    Tom Hartwright (@hartwright_tom) reported

@Hyperoptic Technical support is not available via online chat. Have to call for support, and this is supposedly a telecoms company!? What a joke. 40 mins wait on hold only to be told that they need to dispatch an engineer and the next available slot is Friday afternoon (3 days time) Awful

  • Flowerbomb212
    Flowerbomb212 (@Flowerbomb212) reported

@Hyperoptic you’re not experiencing a higher than normal volume of calls. Your renewals team are most likely offline. Why don’t you say that instead of lying, especially to customers who are looking to potentially cancel? Shambolic service.

@MrNickKnowles @SkyUK @skytv If you are a residential customer with access to AltNets like YouFibre or Hyperoptic, you’d be an idiot to consider Starlink.
