@SkySports This is where golf let’s itself down for me. I understand adhering to the rules but that ball was never dropping in that hole. Common sense should’ve been used in this case.
-
Therightleft
(@BarryBartley3) reported
@young_son @CairnBet @SkySports I never said it was or wasn't. I said that if one player didn't ignore the rules and pick up another players ball, there wouldn't have been an issue.
-
Martin Craig
(@martininassen) reported
@Leemhammond @SkySports If green is flat and there is no wind - that’s never going to drop.

@blaiharvey @SkySports I'd be giving nothing away in a Friday night muirshield mate or if I was playing you for a pint. Never mind on that stage. Was the referee from USA or impartial?

@Jayp6181 @SkySports @Arsenal Just when you think arteta will be out of excuses now he brings in another one.. you cant lay foundations of something thats not concrete you will always have someone injured out of form in future. You have to prepare for the worst.
-
Therightleft
(@BarryBartley3) reported
@spencer_sj @SkySports How ******** do you know it wasn't going to drop? Obviously someone thought it might or she wouldn't have been in such a hurry to snatch it up.

@RyanP83_ @SkySports The commentary has been poor!
-
ChriswithaC

@SkySports Yet a player can rush onto a green and mark their ball before it may roll down an incline?!? Do they not have to wait 10 seconds upon their arrival?
-
Bassy
(@Bassy8008135) reported
@Pwauly1 @SkySports The rule only applies to an ‘overhanging ball’. That ball could never be described as overhanging and therefore the ruling doesn’t even come into play.
