@TalkTalk engineer came to connect my service - (new customer) dreadful and made no effort. Said he could not connect and left without a word. Before he left he complained his 9 weeks furlough was not enough! No wonder he never connected me. No heart in it. Dreadful

@UB5simon I'm on TalkTalk. They're not perfect but my research tells me none of them are. I hardly ever get connectivity problems & they're cheap. I now find the best approach to customer services is to avoid them unless 100% necessary, which means only when I have a hardware problem.

@CateSevilla @virginmedia They then tried to fine me for not sending their 'hub' back and refused to refund the house move cost I'd paid a few months earlier. So so incompetent! SO stressful when all of us work from home too. I moved to TalkTalk & is cheaper and no problems so far, at least :)

Remote support for a friend’s computer that was having strange issues. Teamviewer failed to connect so I figured this was related. An hour’s debugging later and it turns out the ISP (TalkTalk) is blocking Teamviewer as it’s used by scammers.

@TalkTalk Appalling treatment of my elderly grandmother today. Promised callback 4-6pm - for a previous complaint, never came. She called, 40mins wait, passed to complaints manager who HUNG UP on her. Second agent repeatedly spoke over her. I have recordings.

Is virgin media any good? Been with @TalkTalk FOUR YEARS and their service is abysmal. They were supposed to send an engineer in Dec who failed to show up despite me taking a day off for that appointment. They promised to compensate me for this and near two months later, nothing!
