@loulouhope @TalkTalk Getting ghosted on the Twitter DMs too and they close at 22h00. Been trying to get this sorted since 18h00, first the phones kept me on hold until their 'hometime cut off' at 19h00, now zero help via their own alternative options. Time to switch providers 😑

@talktalk #telephone #talktalk appalling service from Talktalk customer service. If you have a phone fault be prepared to call them over 26 times and keep reporting the same thing over and over. They usually sit in silence until you hang up. I stayed waiting for 19 mins in silen

  • SimonFreemanUoM
Simon P Freeman (@SimonFreemanUoM) reported from City of London, England

@TalkTalk That isn’t acceptable, to say, oh we can disrupt your work, cost me money and Time because of your failure. You have let me down massively and cost me money

  • natb990
Natalie Bradley (@natb990) reported from Poplar, England

In a time where we are so reliant on our Internet connections I would discourage anyone from considering using @TalkTalk... patchy connection and impossible to get through to customer service 😡

  • timmyhall1
Tim Hall (@timmyhall1) reported from Bexleyheath, England

@TalkTalk also your customer service is non existent. Been promised call backs twice this week and not heard a thing. Plus im still paying for Internet that ive not had for 2.5 months. Joke of a company

  • Jeaneauk1

@TalkTalk The router is next to the stereo on the opposite side of the kitchen to the appliances - the same place as when I was with Vodaphone and had no problems whatsoever

  • PlexNetflix
Martin Phillp (@PlexNetflix) reported from Camberwell, England

A nice surprise, @TalkTalk answered the phone straight away and resolved a contract boost issue on the spot. Agreed not to increase my boost by £2.50 for the remainder of the contract.

  • brunao_silva
Mateus Silva (@brunao_silva) reported from Camberwell, England

@TalkTalk @TalkTalkGroup @TalkTalkBizCare in the 13 years as a costumer you sure had let me down before but this time after all those years . You messed up big time, but I guess loyalty is one way for you. 4 Days is way too long.

  • adjemal
Aydin Djemal (@adjemal) reported from Bromley, England

@SamGate82667604 @TrevGates @TalkTalk All I have heard is bad things about talk talk. What they have done and still not rectifying while we are on lockdown is disgraceful. Sham on you @TalkTalk

  • YardleyShooting
Mike Yardley (@YardleyShooting) reported from City of London, England

Utterly useless service from AOL/Yahoo/TalkTalk yet again following my complaint reference the breakdown/failure of their systems. So irritating when you pay for a service and don't get it. I was told by a rep ref. AOL: "it's a very old platform.." as if that was an excuse. @AOL

  • imy
Imraan Sathar (@imy) reported from Poplar, England

@stfujahn @odekul @nolkeD @M1dKn1gh7 There’s already universal service obligations in place and market based regulated pricing at postcode level for Openreach - ofcom has done a relatively good job at keeping things in check - and when they don’t talktalk and sky have taken them to court because they suffer the most

TalkTalk Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • lawson0864
    Ian Lawson (@lawson0864) reported

@TalkTalk spent 2 hours this morning trying to either cancel, or re-negotiate my broadband contract. Eventually was told they couldn’t do anything because I was in a “queue” for allocation of a new account number after conversion from copper to digital voice service. Shambles !

  • mdf6701
    M Foxyßhinnock 😷🎭🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🩺 (@mdf6701) reported

@TalkTalk My internet is down. We cannot even report it as your website is also down.

  • clarawils26
    Clara📚🧣 (@clarawils26) reported

@TalkTalk you're absolutely cheeky, sending me an email this morning saying my WiFi is increasing by 3 quid, considering it was down all yesterday morning with no communication! The cheek and nerve 😡😡😡

  • MissLJArmstrong
    Laura-JayneArmstrong (@MissLJArmstrong) reported

@TalkTalk hi my Nan and Grandad’s landline isn’t working, are you able to help?

  • lillywobbles
    Nicko (@lillywobbles) reported

@TalkTalk Without doubt the worst customer experience I’ve ever had. One and a half hours in ‘chats’ trying to cancel a contract only to be then told to email help@talkmobile . Almost certainly not UK based as well. Useless

  • rusticman991
    Neil Russell (@rusticman991) reported

Beware TalkTalk. What a diabolical experience I've just had with TalkTalk. It's taken about 3 hours for them to tell me it will cost me £75 to send a technician out. It's TalkTalk's equipment that has broken and it was TalkTalk's technicians that made a **** up when they upgraded it !

  • SRIPRAKASH76
    Dr Prakash Nayak (@SRIPRAKASH76) reported

@TalkTalk Hi I had an email from Melissa Dube from the complaints team .With due respect, she has not applied high professional standards. She missed out one part of the complaint completely. Wouldn't like to think that was intentional but it makes my problem with TalkTalk worse.

  • DannyA2103
    Danny Alessandrelli (@DannyA2103) reported

@TalkTalk The email that was sent to customers is very poor communication and misleading. Whoever drafted that email and whoever approved it to go out to customers should be advised accordingly

  • dawsona56

@TalkTalk why is your customer service desk closed?

  • VjndraAgrawal
    Vjndra Agrawal (@VjndraAgrawal) reported

@TalkTalk My internet hasn’t been working since yesterday. Customer care says my account was disconnected due to a TalkTalk technical glitch, and I’m now being treated as a new customer, meaning my contract is gone and I must place a new order. Can you confirm if this is correct?
