@TalkTalk this is the worst experience I had with internet service would be getting 30-40mb qnd I’m getting 1mb, they don’t pick up the phone, and when talking through chat they said they would get me an engineer but never replied again

@CateSevilla @virginmedia They then tried to fine me for not sending their 'hub' back and refused to refund the house move cost I'd paid a few months earlier. So so incompetent! SO stressful when all of us work from home too. I moved to TalkTalk & is cheaper and no problems so far, at least :)

@TalkTalk engineer came to connect my service - (new customer) dreadful and made no effort. Said he could not connect and left without a word. Before he left he complained his 9 weeks furlough was not enough! No wonder he never connected me. No heart in it. Dreadful

@UB5simon I'm on TalkTalk. They're not perfect but my research tells me none of them are. I hardly ever get connectivity problems & they're cheap. I now find the best approach to customer services is to avoid them unless 100% necessary, which means only when I have a hardware problem.

Wouldn't trust an ex boss of @TalkTalk to run a welk stall outside a pub, never mind an impt public health service. Been trying to communicate with @TalkTalkGroup customer care for 2 wks. Like talking to an amoeba. All multi £billion companies are bad, some are worse than others.

@m0khr @TalkTalk If you are using WSJT-X then there is a 'Use TCP connection' option on the reporting dialog that was added to get around this sort of issue. Can't help with NTP though.

The stupid thing is my account portal throughout has said there are no faults with my line and that my broadband is in perfect working condition. Also everytime you click "report fault" it overwrites the previous logged fault and any updates there have been. A @Talktalk farce! /5

Day 19 of no broadband at home thanks to @TalkTalk. On Day 15 they FINALLY admitted there was a fault. Previous to that I'd have multiple online chats and even a TT engineer visit on Day 4. The engineer said the problem was 'outside' but talktalk themselves continued to ask /1

I had amassed 4 website chats and 2 twitter chats with @talktalk before on Day 15 they admitted there was a problem. A BT Openreach engineer was "on site currently" I was informed. No evidence of this though and 4 days later STILL no broadband! /3
