@TalkTalk Terrible service. Wouldn’t recommend. We started an account with TWO broadbands. First two weeks of course were great but as the clock struck 12 on the 3rd week the expected happened. Download speeds dropped from 25-30MBps to 1-3MBps. Recently I have been getting KBps!

@stfujahn @odekul @nolkeD @M1dKn1gh7 There’s already universal service obligations in place and market based regulated pricing at postcode level for Openreach - ofcom has done a relatively good job at keeping things in check - and when they don’t talktalk and sky have taken them to court because they suffer the most

  • HastonOliveira Haston Oliveira (@HastonOliveira) reported from Hounslow, England

@latoyaestella @TalkTalk @virginmedia and Sky’s customer service are better and no drops of speed I hear. That’s who I’ll be going to when I get rid of this rubbish (TalkTalk)provider and their service!

  • x_Itherael_x Steve (@x_Itherael_x) reported from Wandsworth, England

@TalkTalk The same. This seems to happen ever night and before you say have you reset the router that’s a yes and the light is white on the router so it’s not mine end where the issue is coming from.

  • OBY_Daniel Daniel O'Brien (@OBY_Daniel) reported from Wandsworth, England

@TalkTalk your customer service is shocking. I’ve spent the past 5 hours trying to resolve connection issues and spoken to 9 different people. Please can you get someone to call me either resolving my issue or cancelling my contract.

  • ruskin147 Rory Cellan-Jones (@ruskin147) reported from Lambeth, England

Labour plan involves spending £20bn on rolling out a full fibre broadband network to all by 2020 - then providing free service to every home and business. But not clear where that leaves Virgin Media, TalkTalk etc

  • OwensBenjamin Benjamin Owens (@OwensBenjamin) reported from Hammersmith, England

avoid @TalkTalk broadband at all costs. I’ve had no internet for 2 days. Yesterday they said open reach had come out to fix the issue and this morning I got a message saying it was fixed. I still don’t have access to internet and they want to charge £50 to fix it.

Don’t be lured into another broadband contract with @TalkTalk by the promise of Amazon gifts - because you never get them. Just continual fobbing off - wait 37 days, then +7, then +10, actually it’s 90 days. Then Email this ‘no reply’ address, that doesn’t work (surprise!) 😡
