  • CasellesEdu Edu Caselles (@CasellesEdu) reported from Kensington, England

@virginmedia thanks for such a helpful and amazing customer support service. After 40 min waiting to talk to one of your agents, he complained he could not hear me properly, I asked him to bear with me while I plugged my headset and 30s later, he hanged up. 1/2

  • Amanda_Davey12 Amanda Davey (@Amanda_Davey12) reported from London, England

@virginmedia The link was broken, I have made a complaint online, you do have my phone number however, as our technology provider, someone should have called!

  • letsbhavinu H-Town (@letsbhavinu) reported from Hackney, England

I should've known better than to extend my contract with @virginmedia so much service issues. Today it's no Internet, bet they'll say its my equipment #standardanswers

  • AngusTeee Angus Teee (@AngusTeee) reported from Paddington, England

@virginmedia I see. Thanks. There is no point ringing your ‘customer service’ number - I don’t have the time or battery to listen to the same four songs on a loop for over an hour then be told nothing helpful. Been there, done that.

  • tobyeverett14 Toby Everett (@tobyeverett14) reported from Wandsworth, England

@virginmedia It’s honestly embarrassing how ludicrously incompetent this company is, read the previous tweets. I do not have high hopes for the text service but we shall see.

  • Luke_Arch3r Luke Archer (@Luke_Arch3r) reported from Camden Town, England

Trying to cancel my @virginmedia broadband because I’m moving and I’ve been on hold for 33 minutes out of the 36 minutes (and counting...) of this call. Will cost my phone bill a fortune by the end of it! Very poor service, don’t think I’ll use them when I need broadband again!

  • prashthambi Prash (@prashthambi) reported from City of London, England

@virginmedia can you please dm me - have an issue regarding return of a WiFi box. Been on hold for 20 minutes and can’t stay for much longer

  • PopePower William Pope (@PopePower) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia This letter was never received. No attempt to contact us was made. was initially told by Virgin that they thought the account holder had called to have the account disconnected. I have since tried to rectify the situation by calling Virgin to request our account be reconnected.

  • Amanda_Davey12 Amanda Davey (@Amanda_Davey12) reported from London, England

@virginmedia I find it insulting that you infer it is a problem my end! Once again, the level of customer care is dreadful, and no fixing of the actual problem that we pay a monthly premium for!

  • caillea marty bogert (@caillea) reported from Hackney, England

@virginmedia Actually it doesn’t help because. You guys are failing to read to comprehension.

  • kierank_ Kieran Kunhya 🚀 (@kierank_) reported from Camberwell, England

  • caillea marty bogert (@caillea) reported from Hackney, England

@virginmedia Yes, I did. I said that in both my posts. Three times even before and after I rebooted my router. Other people in postcodes near me are reporting the same problem. It reports back that all is well. But there’s no connection to the internet.

  • caillea marty bogert (@caillea) reported from Hackney, England

@virginmedia @seraybot Yes I’ve run the service test three times last night and this morning before posting here and I’ve rebooted the router several times.

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • anthony_murphy1 Anthony Murphy (@anthony_murphy1) reported

@virginmedia You will happily send me a new Hub 3, but that still means I need a 20m cable running through my house to get a stable connection in the room above the router. You have sent my long term virgin friends a new hub 4 without asking so why not me who is having actual issues?

  • AntMelvin Anthony Melvin (@AntMelvin) reported

@virginmedia I did try getting through to you this afternoon to see if anything could be done before escalating but the waiting time was over an hour and I've spent long enough trying to resolve this quite simple problem.

  • ChrisLoe Chris Loe (@ChrisLoe) reported

@virginmedia why are you holding your customers hostage? I can’t get through to cancel my contract given your outrageous new prices. @Ofcom you should take note.

  • DarrenL8770 Darren Leavens (@DarrenL8770) reported

@virginmedia Please explain to me how you can justify a price increase to my current package when you broadband despite having boosters constantly drops out? The tv is all repeats or plus 1 channels. The customer service non-existent! So please explain the increase!

  • stillpoetry STILLPOETRY PHOTOGRAPHY (@stillpoetry) reported

@virginmedia I've contacted you twice on that number via land-line, twice the automated system runs some tests. I get disconnected of course, but then that's it. Theres no option to speak to someone, as the problem continues. Ive got cut off from two more NHS meetings.

  • KirstinPettet mummyteachercatmummy (@KirstinPettet) reported

@virginmedia We were told within 24 hours (didn’t happen) then 2 hours. Then 1 hour then a supervisor was going to call. Then 4 hours.. All this off the back of us chasing via the messenger service. This started Monday and took until last night before we got a call

  • PammyVegas21 Pamela Lavell (@PammyVegas21) reported from Warrington, England

@virginmedia I was going to go to a better provider but was assured that the price was guaranteed until May 2021. You have broken the terms of the contract AGAIN. How many mature citizens who aren’t as computer savvy get ripped off by you? How is this being allowed to happen? Shame on you

  • TheBenWoodcock Benjamin Woodcock (@TheBenWoodcock) reported from Swansea, Wales

@virginmedia im getting really annoyed with your mobile service as I cannot receive any automated text messages (which makes 2FA for some stuff impossible). This is an ongoing issue. Also unable to get through to 150

  • tobypriceis 🔶 Toby Price #FBPE #blacklivesmatter #LDCF ✝️ (@tobypriceis) reported

@virginmedia Tried to call you several times and just wait and wait (90 minutes waiting so far). Your wifi is simply not good enough. I started my service less than a month ago and I'm going to have to leave unless you can do something. Your support team said you could not!

  • jericho1973 Harvey (@jericho1973) reported

@virginmedia Yes I've done all that many many times and phoned your automated service and they check the line and tell me its fine but ten mins later it drops out. I can't even phone for advice cos I've a voip phone and it disconnects when the net drops out. Can you send a new hub
