Need to renew my broadband do I stick with @Plusnet or go to another provider .. in mind of that they all use @openreach network but @virginmedia I don't play online games

  • gazbullsfan22
Gareth Rider-Smith (@gazbullsfan22) reported from Keighley, England

@virginmedia when is someone going to ring us back after the failure to apply the package to our account we sorted on the phone yet still hasn’t changed or a manager ringing back to deal with the complaint. Shocking services but soon quick to mailing bills out!

  • Churchill0782
The Churchill (@Churchill0782) reported from Wakefield, England

@virginmedia do you care to give an update regarding services being down in the WF1 area of Wakefield? You estimate keeps changing which is becoming really annoying!! Literally 1000s of households without an Internet connection. #wakefield #poorservice

  • Laney322
    Laney_32🇾🇪 🐓 (@Laney322) reported from Thornton, England

Question for you. If we have a Virgin Media contract (Broadband) in my Wife’s name and we cancel (contract is up) that to then put a new contract in my name is this allowed for the same address?! #VirginMedia

  • domburch
Dom Burch ⤴️ (@domburch) reported from Bradford, England

@virginmedia To cancel. Tried ask contact methods other than writing you a letter so far. Carrier pigeon might be better.

  • gazbullsfan22
Gareth Rider-Smith (@gazbullsfan22) reported from Keighley, England

@virginmedia You haven’t applied the contract you sent out and the balance on our account is double the contract charge and your advice said pay in full to speak to someone if not it tough. And then said it would then be credited on the account. Your advisor are no help.

  • vid_mitra8
Vid (@vid_mitra8) reported from Leeds, England

Virgin media is frustratingly slow. We pay around 33 each month. That’s more of what we pay for two months of internet, TV with all sports channels everything and Netflix, Disney and Amazon prime included. Might move back to India I swear.😭

  • SaffsAI
Bam Bam (@SaffsAI) reported from Bradford, England

Why companies like @virginmedia use WhatsApp support I do not know. The system makes you wait an hour, if you don't respond in 10 minutes, it kicks you off the chat just to make you wait again

  • Lisalav22
Lisa Lavelle (@Lisalav22) reported from Guiseley, England

@virginmedia Call your customers to resolve a complaint not just say it’s resolved I want a call from management or my direct debit will be cancelled then it’s hello sky

  • gazbullsfan22
Gareth Rider-Smith (@gazbullsfan22) reported from Keighley, England

@virginmedia Service even worse you demand full payment and then will credit our account for your error and breach of contract! Your customers service staff rude! Demanding money before we can speak to anyone well I wonder what a solicitor would have to say with copy of the breached contract.

  • Chm14Mc
Chris McCulloch (@Chm14Mc) reported from Wakefield, England

@virginmedia as a rejoining customer, how do I set up an account with my old accounts e-mail address? #gettingstuck #shouldbeeasier

  • westerby1
Norma (Stuckasaurus) Roberts🐀 (@westerby1) reported from Thornton, England

What #InternetSpeed does a one person household with a laptop /mobile & Roku streaming stick need? I sometimes watch HD movies while on my laptop, but I never play video games. I'm thinking of changing my @virginmedia package (price increase!) & am currently on M250 broadband.

  • Yuz6Yusof
Md Yuzaiful Md Yusof (@Yuz6Yusof) reported from Leeds, England

Having been a loyal customer for 4 years with @virginmedia, I have been lied to by customer service. They applied a different package than what agreed on phone. Violation of customer’s right! Rang 3 times since to complain but nothing has been done! Disgraceful @VirginMediaCorp

  • SamWalker03
Sam Walker (@SamWalker03) reported from Leeds, England

@virginmedia are up there with the worst companies for customer service. Their IVR is infuriating, they hang up on you when you do manage to get through and then tell you there is no way to make a complaint ! @Ofcom do you regulate these clowns 🤡

  • JayDS87
Jay Smith (@JayDS87) reported from Halifax, England

@virginmedia Service status website page won’t load even on my phone service provider. I have reset my router twice. Still happening.

  • westerby1
Norma (Stuckasaurus) Roberts (@westerby1) reported from Thornton, England

@virginmedia You say it's a business number that I spoke to for 23 mins! I checked online & it's not a real area code, but a premium rate number, often used for scams. Thing is, I NEVER ring these people, or press 1, or whatever, I always hang up! But lady said there's nothing u can do, so...

  • Aidan1964
Aidan Carey (@Aidan1964) reported from Wakefield, England

@virginmedia I'm a new customer and cannot access my account. I've spoken to your customer service team a number of times and they haven't been able to sort my issue out. My account is tagged as a secondary account, but I'm the primary account holder!

  • Ripark114
Richard Parker (@Ripark114) reported from Pannal, England

@virginmedia @Ambo2005 I cancelled mine under the 30 day terms (on 3rd try) and my service was immediately disconnected. Now I’m told I have to wait up to 72 hours to be reconnected. Clearly not good enough but what can you do?

  • saffysaffron
Saffy Saffron(i will be a writer 1day🤞🏼🤞🏼 ) (@saffysaffron) reported from Wrose, England

@virginmedia It’s been on and off for weeks. Nothing is being done quickly enough. Hope you will be compensating customers for the loss of service !

  • a8dullah_mulla
Abdullah Mulla (@a8dullah_mulla) reported from Heckmondwike, England

@virginmedia somethings never change, £21 price increase can’t get you good customer service. Complaint logged for the second time, will I get response this time? 🤔

  • Borochubster
    Al Murray Jnr🔴 (@Borochubster) reported

@MartinSLewis Virgin media have a call back team. You actually have to cancel your contract, then they call you back within 2 weeks and that's when you get the best deals.

  • chibs9184x
    Becky (@chibs9184x) reported

@virginmedia need to speak to you lot about something. Been told one thing by your customer service agent, and this hasn’t been followed through (do have copy of the web chat to prove this also!) 😤

  • GothGuyGamer
    Gothguy (@GothGuyGamer) reported

@MartinSLewis Virgin media top tip: If you're close to the end of contract, don't renew. Give them your 30 days notice, When 30 days has elapsed, apply as a new customer with a new email. They won't give you any better deals unless you're a "new" customer

  • GGNDRiRock
    Hannah (@GGNDRiRock) reported

@leolionmark @virginmedia I have the same issue on my tv too. It’s shite.

  • andrewbeck36
    AndyLFC❤️GFC (@andrewbeck36) reported

@virginmedia Apparently there's no issues in my area 😔 broadband keeps dropping and disconnecting 🙈

  • ColinFenn45
    Colin Fenn (@ColinFenn45) reported

@virginmedia I forgot to mention, during these low signal periods, when using okla speed checker download speed can be as low as 8mbps and upload often a little higher. Using the website fault checker does not register any problems , Colin.

  • dr_besty
    Alex Jones (@dr_besty) reported

@gblondon1 @skytv @virginmedia No such thing as loyalty, you pay for a service, they provide said service, that's it. If you want loyalty get a dog.

  • Jasonrfc90
    Jason ferguson (@Jasonrfc90) reported

@virginmedia What am i paying u idiots for every single day my internet goes down honestly the worst service provider in the uk i would rather use my giffgaff internet than this **** show of a company

  • ColinFenn45
    Colin Fenn (@ColinFenn45) reported

@virginmedia Hi, poor signal strength is wifi only, if I am streaming on my laptop it becomes unusable, with a msg not enough bandwidth, and will last for about 15mins. The signal strength notification struggles to make any bars, and eventually clears.
