  • lshudall Lucy (@lshudall) reported from Gildersome, England

@virginmedia On the online chat, the response was that there's no ETA for the fix, and service will be intermittent until the 3rd. It's not really good enough, as I need the wifi for work.

  • lshudall Lucy (@lshudall) reported from Gildersome, England

@virginmedia The service status page says there are no known issues with broadband, but i still have no service and there's no option to receive updates

  • ataraxianautist 👻 Ghosty Gò.Ó 👻 (@ataraxianautist) reported from Leeds, England

@gffcontwitch @virginmedia Many times the front line staff or "apologists" as I call them are out of their depth. There is no such as customer service any more so I repeatedly ask, just put me on with a supervisor and they are just there to deny and indemnify.

  • emmab1307 emma (@emmab1307) reported from Huddersfield, England

@virginmedia On top of that i asked to speak to billing team because been charged an additional £8 for no reason and never got transferred through

  • mrslebs2009 I am Shona (@mrslebs2009) reported from Brighouse, England

Tv and phone ok, but broadband still down #helpneeded #virginmedia

  • macchillan Stuart MacMillan (@macchillan) reported from Leeds, England

@MrSaffron I wish it did... @virginmedia fibre drops out multiple times a day so speed becomes irrelevant when uptime is so poor. We consistently rely on mobile data to make it through a single working day

  • emmab1307 emma (@emmab1307) reported from Huddersfield, England

@virginmedia On top of that a few year year ago at that time one of your lovely advisors but me through to the loyalty team gave me a great deal because said I been a loyal customer now I go through to cancellations/retention team who say can’t do anything. So what happens is you leave

  • tigerman2570 Philip Woolford (@tigerman2570) reported from Leeds, England

@virginmedia having issues with broadband in Leeds LS15 area now after tv issues Fri. Nearly £1200 pa & no service! Hope not going to give the "we're working hard to resolve" line then leaving things as they are until Monday. This is unacceptable compensation should be paid

  • paulthebantam Paul Farndale 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🌧 (@paulthebantam) reported from Bradford, England

@DoctorBeeching1 @virginmedia The call centre system is a nightmare. Outsourced I'm guessing. Never use the live chat whatever you do. I made a complaint after that experience which was closed down without any further contact. Gone with Sky for the new house.

  • leftfield289 Andrew Davies (@leftfield289) reported from Leeds, England

@virginmedia just to remind you and I everyone else your customer service is the worst in the U.K. in my experience

  • katiewood91 Katie 🖤 (@katiewood91) reported from Leeds, England

@MAdryjek @virginmedia I had exact same thing in the same area. Kept ringing to be told it was an outage in the area and to be patient, repair date after repair date. Eventually someone listened and got an engineer, turned out after all that, it was a faulty cable in the router (only joined in July)

  • tigerman2570 Philip Woolford (@tigerman2570) reported from Leeds, England

@virginmedia there appears to be an issue with your tv guide. The Great Britain Rugby League v @NZRL_Kiwis starts at 3.30am yet is only showing at 5.30 -6am on @BBCTwo I would like to record the whole game but can't due to this issue

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • catprodder Treacle **** (@catprodder) reported

@virginmedia They haven't told me what the problem is and every day they give me a new estimated fix time. Today they have advised the fix time is 24.6.22. It hasn't been working properly since 16.6.22.

  • Theresa_ladyL Careen Livingston (@Theresa_ladyL) reported

@virginmedia Right now I'm not sure. The request went through customer retention but the last person I spoke to said he was from The Cable Care team. He advised that a manager would call back that evening 20/06/22!

  • GillAJones Gillian Jones Designs (@GillAJones) reported

@virginmedia My mother can speak for herself and has already sent a letter of complaint. I felt this practice should be highlighted because I don't it to want it to happen to others. According to the "helpline" it is mainly "elderly customers" to whom this happens.

  • welbymcroberts Welby McRoberts (@welbymcroberts) reported

@virginmedia I understand, however I already informed your retentions team about this, they agreed there wouldn't be any further contact. Theres also no point in requesting that, as 30 days later I wont be a customer. It also *SHOULDNT* take 30 days to update your CRM system to not send spam.

  • chehak9 K (@chehak9) reported

@virginmedia You have cancelled the technician visit saying it’s an area problem and it will be fixed Monday 2 days ago!!! Nothing has been fixed I’m using my 5G to be able to work from home. This is not acceptable

  • SupremeGx Graham (@SupremeGx) reported

@virginmedia honestly has the worst customer service and telephone IVR system. How they retain customers is beyond me, I’ve had an issue for 2 months with weekly phone calls and complaints and I get nothing back

  • keithbucknall keithbucknall (@keithbucknall) reported

@virginmedia As mentioned no point calling CS so decided to find out myself the issue. Looks like its a local cable break in the area effecting alot of households which needs digging and repairing, MTR tomorrow/Friday

  • SaraCla82352859 Sara Clark (@SaraCla82352859) reported

@virginmedia Thank you. I have spoken to Ren in collections. He has informed me that my account will be cancelled today and I owe no money. Let's see if I receive the e mail to confirm this or not...I have no faith in virgin media anymore. Thank you for your help today

  • JLV1973 Janet Herbert (@JLV1973) reported

@virginmedia I’ve been a customer for years ….. the ISP was done by contractors weeks ago and I was advised yourselves would contact me, the old ISP is what I’m running off at the moment and signal is shocking?

  • PeteYourDoom Peter 💜🐈🎸🎵☕ (@PeteYourDoom) reported

@ChinnyVision In a few years, it'll all be **** as the PSTN stuff is being moved over onto the Broadband lines. i know my Virgin Media is changing next month. Phone now lugs into back of router
