@DoctorBeeching1 @virginmedia The call centre system is a nightmare. Outsourced I'm guessing. Never use the live chat whatever you do. I made a complaint after that experience which was closed down without any further contact. Gone with Sky for the new house.

@gffcontwitch @virginmedia Many times the front line staff or "apologists" as I call them are out of their depth. There is no such as customer service any more so I repeatedly ask, just put me on with a supervisor and they are just there to deny and indemnify.

@MrSaffron I wish it did... @virginmedia fibre drops out multiple times a day so speed becomes irrelevant when uptime is so poor. We consistently rely on mobile data to make it through a single working day

@virginmedia there appears to be an issue with your tv guide. The Great Britain Rugby League v @NZRL_Kiwis starts at 3.30am yet is only showing at 5.30 -6am on @BBCTwo I would like to record the whole game but can't due to this issue

@MAdryjek @virginmedia I had exact same thing in the same area. Kept ringing to be told it was an outage in the area and to be patient, repair date after repair date. Eventually someone listened and got an engineer, turned out after all that, it was a faulty cable in the router (only joined in July)

@virginmedia Broadband is down in CR8 postcode. Fix time was estimated at 17:15hrs so registered for SMS updates. Why didn’t I get update when you simply pushed resolution on 4 hrs to 21:15hrs. Is this just another finger in the air guess?

@virginmedia The extender issue was so bad I ended spending £40 to buy one and that still did not help. So VM has cost me money because of poor service. In case you think I am joking I have a phone call with BT at midday on Friday ie tomorrow

@virginmedia @onearmedjohn Hi John, I feel your pain! I understand a cable connection may be inconvenient, but it is well worth getting a long Ethernet cable to keep on hand for testing as you will then be sure it is, or is not a wifi issue. Perhaps Virgin could get their engineer to run a cable?
