Thanks @virginmedia on hold for 1 hour and 4 minutes, finally someone answers abs immediately hangs up. You did this to me in March. Been a customer for over 15 years, not for much longer. Appalling customer service

@virginmedia Yes, it is, and the situation has still not changed I am afraid. Virgin Media has not given any further information regards this, and Ai have no idea when the issue may be resolved. It is impossible to get any information at all!

@virginmedia Yes, I have checked it again and exactly the same issue. Moreover it is clear that the issue persists since I am unable to perform my remote consultation work today because of the issue. I am really appalled by the way Virgin Media is handling this issue. @MoneyTelegraph

@virginmedia Apparently there’s a fault in the area now, but I’ve seen similar tweets from Newcastle and London so it’s not just my area it’s the whole country. Really poor service these days.

@virginmedia No errors, I check this evertime this is how I believe it's the router at fault and the line. As most times there is is an issue or sometimes there is no issue listed and then you phone up for an engineer and there is an issue

@virginmedia I tried calling yesterday. That was the problem - the call handler didn't know what he was doing, and spent an hour lying and gaslighting me. Also I can't make a complaint over the phone.

@virginmedia I observed that the intermittent fault I have coincides with specific critical errors in the routers log files, suggesting a network issue. These happen several times a day but at different times. As no fault at time of call just asked me to observe. Still an issue. Frustrating.

@virginmedia No. And my landline is also running over fibre, not copper. So, when the support person suggested I reboot the router she didn’t seem to grasp I’d disconnect from the call & even though it’s a VM phone she wouldn’t call me back after reboot. Not joined up thinking at all. 1/2
