Norma (Stuckasaurus) Roberts (@westerby1) reported from Thornton, England@virginmedia You say it's a business number that I spoke to for 23 mins! I checked online & it's not a real area code, but a premium rate number, often used for scams. Thing is, I NEVER ring these people, or press 1, or whatever, I always hang up! But lady said there's nothing u can do, so...
-
Norma (Stuckasaurus) Roberts (@westerby1) reported from Thornton, England@virginmedia Hi, John, is it possible to find out if anyone rang me just before that call was made? I'm wondering if I've responded to something I shouldn't have? I'm normally very careful about unsolicited calls and, usually, hang up, but I'm only human & we all make mistakes! It was April.
-
Simon Day (@SiDay14) reported from Dewsbury, England@virginmedia Did you even read the thread?? Now you want me to complain about an issue I’ve complained about several times already? The whole point is your pathetic response to issues!
-
The Churchill (@Churchill0782) reported from Wakefield, England@virginmedia all services in the WF1 area of Wakefield have been down all day and looking like 6pm to be fixed. Will you be applying any credit to people's accounts?? Good will gesture and all that! #wakefield

Norma (Stuckasaurus) Roberts🐀 (@westerby1) reported from Thornton, England@virginmedia If that was the case then I apologise for moaning! Seems it was just bad timing! Had I rung a little later you'd have known! I just always assumed that the tests that you run would show if there was a fault at your end?
-
Laney_33 (@Laney338) reported from Thornton, England@VMO2News - having issues logging into the 02 Rewards App with Virgin Media login. Can you help? @virginmedia
-
Michael Edwards (@MENorthAffinity) reported from Leeds, EnglandIt feels like @virginmedia and @VodafoneUK are having some weird competition to decide who has the most inept and frustrating customer experience competition. No one is perfect but to be this consistently terrible is almost admirable.

-
Laney_32🇾🇪 🐓 (@Laney322) reported from Thornton, EnglandQuestion for you. If we have a Virgin Media contract (Broadband) in my Wife’s name and we cancel (contract is up) that to then put a new contract in my name is this allowed for the same address?! #VirginMedia
-
Gareth Rider-Smith (@gazbullsfan22) reported from Keighley, England@virginmedia You haven’t applied the contract you sent out and the balance on our account is double the contract charge and your advice said pay in full to speak to someone if not it tough. And then said it would then be credited on the account. Your advisor are no help.
-
Gareth Rider-Smith (@gazbullsfan22) reported from Keighley, England@virginmedia We aren’t getting anywhere and you cut us off. This has to be worst service, if I performed as your advisor I would be sacked! How do we get to resolve the issue via the above method?
-
Michael Collinson (@Mcollinson72) reported from Wakefield, EnglandSlow glad to be moving from @virginmedia broadband this Friday. Their advertised speeds used to be unparalleled but since FTTP alternatives becoming available their appalling level of service and refusal to acknowledge or deal with faults has forced a once loyal customer
-
The Churchill (@Churchill0782) reported from Wakefield, England@virginmedia do you care to give an update regarding services being down in the WF1 area of Wakefield? You estimate keeps changing which is becoming really annoying!! Literally 1000s of households without an Internet connection. #wakefield #poorservice
-
John Leeson (@Jp_Leeson) reported from Wibsey, England@virginmedia Yeah he turned up unannounced and left then after several calls got another engineer out who said the fibre cable is snapped and needs replacing and he could not give me a date or time as his emails on his pda are not working so I guess it’s left in the hands of the gods
-
Kamal Sharma (@KamalSh03012772) reported from Leeds, England@virginmedia . C-230122117, my complain is pending with you, which you suppose to resolve with 30 days. Now 30 days have passed and you have not redolve my complaint and been overcharging me for last 2 months. Please resolve.
-
Andrew English (@andy_english) reported from Dewsbury, England@LordTets @virginmedia Go to Ofcom... you have clearly given them ample time on numerous occasions to resolve your complaint. Life is too short to spend your time waiting for promised calls and web chats... let the ombudsman deal with them.
Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Becca Jane (@BeccaJane182124) reported@virginmedia not impressed with customer service! As a loyal customer for over 5 years I was looking to upgrade to the sports package with Netflix and WiFi. I was refused the £52.99 deal as that is “only for new customers”. I was told I would need to pay £130 for the same deal!
-
Jamboross98 🇱🇻🏴 (@rrm53p1970) reported from Bishopbriggs, Scotland@virginmedia you have the worst streaming service EVER. Thinking of quitting you, because it's 💩
-
Craig Aldridge (@CraigA3) reported@virginmedia I have messaged you team online, replied to their emails and tried calling. But your team told me my package wouldn't change as I moved home then have sent me a contract for 4x as much and then decided to not pass security with me to fix. It's an evil scam
-
Nichola 2020 (@NicolaDonnan) reported@virginmedia how do we speak to a real person? A lorry knocked down or phone pole today meaning 5 houses have lost their phone/ WiFi cable. We need to organise reconnection.
-
salmo (@Gary1165) reported@virginmedia @El_Lloydie I would just cancel as they are failing in there contractural obligations
-
Bernie Hynes (@TheBernie1967) reported@El_Lloydie @virginmedia We’ve had shocking ‘service’ too after moving home. Gobsmacked how bad to be honest!
-
Alloqui Strix (@AlloquiStrix) reported@virginmedia My point was that the date of fix changed from 1 day, to 2, then 4, 3, 10, 4, and 10 days. Broadband is an amenity nowadays and your customers should not be without it for this length of time, especially when I'm told it's an upgrade of the infrastructure.
-
Yiuon (@yiuonmw) reported@virginmedia Nah, this is not on. What is this UK side internet issues going on the past few weeks. What is the estimated turn around on a full resolution?
-
Matty Smithy♿️🇬🇧🇪🇺 (@Matt247821) reported@Jenny_1884 It’s pants, not as good as fibre and expensive as you have to purchase the equipment. The latency sucks. Alright for basic browsing but not gaming or high quality streaming. Virgin media is cheaper and faster
-
Stewart Hawtin (@HawtinStewart) reported@virginmedia Any update on this? Really disappointed with the service provided here. I pay a fortune a month for this!!
