What an absolute farce @virginmedia are. Pay a ridiculous amount each month for slow broadband that regularly doesn’t work. Now on to a second day with no service and TiVo is also down. Pathetic.

@virginmedia I was told that I would be called back by a manager #lies Now due to further incompetence you have cut off my Internet & phone service. Claiming that I haven't paid a bill when there's a direct debit set up! #diabolical service. I've never been treated so poorly.

@BBCRedButton I don't think your red button service is working on @virginmedia. It's brings up the iPlayer but no live stuff like the springwatch webcams

@virginmedia Then when transferred to ‘customer care’ so that I could complain and seek compensation, I waited another 20mins and was eventually cut off without speaking to anyone.

@virginmedia Thanks for reply. Problem was that no agent ever responded to move requests via the bot. I sat for 1hr on the phone last night and finally got it booked. If the bot had worked 1st time I’d be switched on when I move. Now I’ll be without service for a week. Not good when wfh!

@virginmedia Nope the technician who came yesterday replaced our hub so for the past 7 months I’ve been paying for a old hub which provides only 100mbps or less. Now one of the customer advisors on the WhatsApp chat is telling me I should’ve message before about this? I shouldn’t need to!

@virginmedia From 100mbps to 1gb is a massive change. It’s pretty obvious i needed a new hub. So virgin just continues charging until a customer notices the speed difference? This is not right for some customers who are still not aware, they may be spending more because of this.
