@virginmedia what’s the best way of contacting your customer service, every time I ring I’m on hold for over an hour. 2 months without the internet speeds I’m paying for now.

Well...an entire day of no internet connectivity today after ‘planned disruption due to network improvement engineering’ yesterday by @virginmedia. Amazing. 20min onhold to be told by support that my router is offline...thanks but that’s what the status lights are for. #shite

@danyoung5 @virginmedia Hope it gets sorted soon, you can ask them for a copy of your customer notes their end to see exactly what the state of play is. Might be worth cross referencing that with what you’ve been told.

@virginmedia This is a small house, I have not had this problem in the 5 years we’ve had Virgin and, unfortunately, I cannot afford an extra £3 per month to see whether a booster is a solution.

@virginmedia Awful, I’ve been trying to contact your so called customer service for 2 months, not had 1 reply sat on hold for over an hour on various occasions, currently paying for 200MB and I’m lucky to get 40.

@virginmedia 50 minutes on the phone. 6 operatives. Nobody can tell me when the fibre will be fixed. First today. Then Monday. Then the 17th. Then the 22nd. Then the 17th again. Like I said - a shambles. Service cancelled. @Ofcom @bt_uk @SkyMediaUK #hitmeup

@virginmedia I work in a customer service contact centre. If any of our agents were as unhelpful as any of your channels there would be disciplinary procedures. Every single time I've dealt with Virgin it's the same. An insincere apology and advice that I already know.

@virginmedia , is it common to not provide customers with the service they have paid for so early into the 18 month contract? Currently on the “Superfast” 200MB plan and receiving 30MB. Rang your call centre and gave up after an hour on hold.

@virginmedia Checked all rooms - this is a small detached house - every room says cannot receive a signal except the living room. A conservatory is in direct sight of the Hub and maybe only 10 meters away; Kitchen Same distance with just one wall. In every room, it recommended a booster .

@virginmedia 2) Not only did i loose some channels leading up to our "upgrade" but now i have effectively lost internet, and ability to work for a week. Absolutely disgraceful service. This is YOUR fault and the fact you cant get an engineer out in less than 5 days is ridiculous.

@IndigoSapper @virginmedia Jazz, after spending 30 mins on waiting and 30 mins on the phone, I’m told there’s a major outage affecting 3000 customers. I’m KT9 myself. Second “major outage” in 30 days. I’ve even had a text saying it’s “fixed” which it isn’t. John from @virginmedia - any chance of an update?
-
Tom Devoil

@virginmedia It just says there’s connection problems with all of my devices and to reboot the hub which I’ve done already. I’ve been having problems for at least a month and was told this issue would be fixed
-
Producer
(@mhoney1234) reported
@virginmedia Nope, still saying it’s not fixed on the checker, but you’re telling me it’s fixed via text. See image. Can you confirm if the issues in the KT9 area of London are still occurring? Your info is very confusing.

The Virgin Media Customer Services phone line is quite possibly one of the most hilariously bad that I have ever used. Constantly unable to understand my inputs (just pressing numbers on the keypad) and after finally getting to the right bit, they cut me off. Woeful.
