Well...an entire day of no internet connectivity today after ‘planned disruption due to network improvement engineering’ yesterday by @virginmedia. Amazing. 20min onhold to be told by support that my router is offline...thanks but that’s what the status lights are for. #shite

@virginmedia Checked all rooms - this is a small detached house - every room says cannot receive a signal except the living room. A conservatory is in direct sight of the Hub and maybe only 10 meters away; Kitchen Same distance with just one wall. In every room, it recommended a booster .

How @virginmedia are still in business is a miracle - the irony of queuing for over 30 mins on the phone to cancel because of poor service is brilliant!

@virginmedia I work in a customer service contact centre. If any of our agents were as unhelpful as any of your channels there would be disciplinary procedures. Every single time I've dealt with Virgin it's the same. An insincere apology and advice that I already know.

@virginmedia They said they was dealing with the fault and was given no time scale. It’s just come back on now but over the last few days it keeps loosing signal for a few minutes then coming back on. Thanks for the reply.

@virginmedia This is a small house, I have not had this problem in the 5 years we’ve had Virgin and, unfortunately, I cannot afford an extra £3 per month to see whether a booster is a solution.

@virginmedia , is it common to not provide customers with the service they have paid for so early into the 18 month contract? Currently on the “Superfast” 200MB plan and receiving 30MB. Rang your call centre and gave up after an hour on hold.
