@virginmedia This is a small house, I have not had this problem in the 5 years we’ve had Virgin and, unfortunately, I cannot afford an extra £3 per month to see whether a booster is a solution.

@danyoung5 @virginmedia Hope it gets sorted soon, you can ask them for a copy of your customer notes their end to see exactly what the state of play is. Might be worth cross referencing that with what you’ve been told.

@virginmedia Checked all rooms - this is a small detached house - every room says cannot receive a signal except the living room. A conservatory is in direct sight of the Hub and maybe only 10 meters away; Kitchen Same distance with just one wall. In every room, it recommended a booster .

@virginmedia , is it common to not provide customers with the service they have paid for so early into the 18 month contract? Currently on the “Superfast” 200MB plan and receiving 30MB. Rang your call centre and gave up after an hour on hold.

@virginmedia 50 minutes on the phone. 6 operatives. Nobody can tell me when the fibre will be fixed. First today. Then Monday. Then the 17th. Then the 22nd. Then the 17th again. Like I said - a shambles. Service cancelled. @Ofcom @bt_uk @SkyMediaUK #hitmeup

@virginmedia I work in a customer service contact centre. If any of our agents were as unhelpful as any of your channels there would be disciplinary procedures. Every single time I've dealt with Virgin it's the same. An insincere apology and advice that I already know.

@virginmedia @O2 You'd have been better spending your money on your internet service. It's completely unreliable. I know a few people working from home who aren't getting paid as they can't work due to no internet service.

@virginmedia Thanks for the response, you don't get the problem. I am not asking for calls to stop. You need to prove who you are when you call. Just as I have to prove who I am when I call you! Why must I give out my information to a foreign sounding person who calls me on the phone? #scams

@virginmedia hi guys, I’ve had to move providers as your service isn’t great near my work, but my account is free with my home media pkg. can I transfer my number to the new provider and keep the mobile account active with a new number so my husband can use it?

@jasonpeacock8 @arqiva Compensation for what? A service you don't even pay for in the first place, you don't pay for Freeview, the clue is in the name. As you have Virgin Media you still have access to live TV so are not due any sort of refund.

@virginmedia 'additional feature 18' showing on my bill twice at £7.49, however no purchases have been made. Customer service team are rubbish, can't tell me what was purchased apparently but state it's valid and must be paid. Never happened before, what is this scam?
