Recently moved from a city centre apartment to suburbia. Had to lose my ever reliable @Hyperoptic connection for a @virginmedia package. Been working from home a few days in the last fortnight and it just likes to randomly cut out for periods without reason. JOY.

@virginmedia Currently been on hold nearly half hour, I seem to be connected again now but bit late the rugby league game I was streaming has finished now I couldn't watch it as I wanted to keep the 1gb of phone data to last the weekend, its typical this this is twice lately ive raised issues

@virginmedia Still not working after pinhole reset. No tv and green bar flashing on router. Spending silly amounts on data in an attempt to contact you when I already pay a lot of money each month. Next door just told it will be fixed Monday. unacceptable service!

@virginmedia my TV and WiFi hasn’t recovered from a power cut earlier today (SK8). Done all normal checks/ procedures. Been on hold 1.5hours. Everyone in area having same problem and being told there’s ‘nothing wrong’. Nothing logged on postcode error website. Awful service!!

It took 1.5 hours to get hold of a @virginmedia tech .And no resolution with broadband box. So if you call a sales line 100s are ready to sell you the products but once you are their customer it’s of no value how they treat you ! @VirginMediaNews Happy Sunday 😀

WiFi down again in the Middleton area for @virginmedia!!! Bloody ridiculous pay over £50 pm for a few channels and supposedly decent WiFi but never bloody works, eating up all my phone data atm 😏

@virginmedia The ping is to slow when gaming, on my PC I get 350meg DL, on my xb1x I get 550meg DL, I think it's throwing my gaming out, it's just not worth bothering playing to get hammered because of ping, lag, whatever it is.

@virginmedia Yes, rebooted as per advice we receive every time 😒 We've experienced the same issue repeatedly since the "Intelligent Wi-Fi" upgrade. Repeated outages however status always reports that there is no issue.

@Satoonerist @virginmedia Totally agree, I've just been pissed about trying to get through to cancellations, I refused technical help and and engineer and I'm going to take a chance that my neighbours are right and Talk Talk is decent these days.

@virginmedia Because that's something you should have offered 4 months ago before the endless hour long phone calls, not something you should have offered only when I went though 3 different people to cancel. I also can't take a day off work for an engineer during August.

@virginmedia You need to keep your service status page updated. I checked that first, no issues apparently, then did the 10 min test, still not working so contacted you to be told there's a fault - very frustrating to be told to check the service status but it's incorrect!

@virginmedia strange I read all the posts about Virgin customers ringing up about cancelling services and Virgin offering them a better deal however I ring up and cancel a service with no trouble at all, not even offering a lower price, your loss #virginmedia

@virginmedia Auto message said service put on hold while investigated, but after no on-site investigation follow-up message stated new appointment not til Monday evening. Will be 5 days without broadband including 3 full work days while we all WFH. Unacceptable.

@virginmedia does anyone answer your phones or live chat when you want to cancel your contract?? I have been a customer for 7 years, and the facilities to contact you either too busy, won't connect or your pass from pillar to post! I just want to cancel!!
