Daniel W (@damawa42) reported from Camden Town, England
@virginmedia Also "we're" not "were" Yes pls - can you give update on "Trouble Call 12165447"? I was given that as a reference number for issue engineers were investigating; I received a text saying it was fixed but the problem persists. Also - insane that your bot asks for bank sort code!
-
Stephen Ball (@stephendball) reported from Camberwell, England
@virginmedia @nikkijcar Answer me for god sake! Do you think maybe when your existing customers are using your “moving home” service they might be busy oh I don’t know... moving home? So don’t have time to wait around for your engineer 90 minutes after their appointment?
-
𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐛 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫 🚀 (@Caleb_Parker) reported from London, England
@virginmedia Yes after a 5 hour outage during a key work time did me it came back up. But I’m more disappointed in the delay in customer service response time.
-
PapaQ69 (@AddicksGlenn69) reported from Bromley, England
@EE hi there why has the broadband internet become so poor recently. When I switched a few months back from @virginmedia the signal was always reliable around 50 to 60mbps never dropping out. Recently keeps dropping out to below 2mbps which is the reason I switched from virgin.
-
Mark Phillips 💙 (@Mark_Phillips66) reported from Camden Town, England
@virginmedia That just repeats previous fault message. And ironically asks me to go to the website to check status. All I want at this point from @virginmedia is an estimate of when this will be fixed (I know u can’t fix it)
-
𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐛 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫 🚀 (@Caleb_Parker) reported from London, England
@virginmedia Hey, my broadband is down. Your website says there is a known service issue. Can you advise when it’s coming back up, as I’m working from home and need access.
-
Jack Taylor (@jackjctaylor) reported from Islington, England
@virginmedia I spent over an hour on hold today trying to speak with someone about cancelling. I ended up having to put the phone down. How an earth can I cancel my contract if the only way to do it is by calling and you don’t answer the phone?!
-
Mark Phillips 💙 (@Mark_Phillips66) reported from Camden Town, England
First morning back at work, and true to form #virginmedia have underlined their uselessness with no broadband in NW5. They want to increase prices, yet do not provide a decent service - how am I meant to #workfromhome ?
-
DanielSSmith FRSA (@DanielSSmith) reported from London, England
@virginmedia multiple houses on my street are down but all being told there is no problem and must be with ourselves only. Clearly it's not. Trying to work and home school and can’t today. Se136ew
-
chibievil (@chibi_evil) reported from Camberwell, England

-
Steve (@MFC_Steve) reported from Romford, England
@virginmedia so Virgin is a media company that is uncontactable by Phone, email, Twitter and message service. Who on earth would trust them with their business if they can’t manage themselves
-
Jack Taylor (@jackjctaylor) reported from Islington, England
@stephfriend_ @virginmedia It’s infuriating. They deliberately make you phone as the only way to cancel, then just leave you on hold
-
Lourdes Marenco (@lourdesmarenco) reported from Camberwell, England
@benchappers83 @virginmedia Unacceptable! Fight them, this can’t be right. They can’t do whatever they please. Change provider if your rights as customer are not respected.
-
Glyn Shimell (@Shims_g) reported from Bromley, England
@virginmedia your customer process to report a deceased account holder to cancel services is an absolute shambles, been on hold for 2 hours, no links on your website to do it. Thank god I’m with @SkyUK
-
Kos Skassis (@lonewharf) reported from Crayford, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
john (@john320073) reported
@virginmedia What useless customer service I have been promised that managers would call back about the issue that your engineers caused would be repaired by today. After another 3 hours on the phone I have discovered that no engineer has been booked for today
-
Mathieu Camus (@MathieuCamus) reported
@virginmedia It's been 3 days though. And 3 days to go (allegedly!). What is causing the issue?
-
Hayreddin Barbarossa (@OghuzKh) reported
@virginmedia So all of that for you to ask me to post my issue on a forum? I see why you guys got a horrible rep now.
-
Loz 👑 (@lzjynxo) reported
@virginmedia can I cancel my services on live chat or do I need to ring?
-
Banhammer72 (@Banhammer72) reported
@virginmedia If I am due for an upgrade, tedious but ok fine. If my BB/TV contract is up, same deal! But if I say "No" the call should be over! It's that simple. It doesn't take much to switch service providers these day, just saying!
-
Stuart Dunning (@Rock_Avalanches) reported
@virginmedia How about a 4g router to hotspot to dropped in, that would be a valid fix. Something other than the minimal loss of service payment.
-
James T Kelly (@realjtk) reported
@virginmedia None at all. Whatever’s broken, it’s still broken.
-
CLQ | CaptainAshtro (@CaptainAshtro) reported
Everyday I check my internet speed from @virginmedia. Everyday it's a gamble whether I can stream or not. Every time I actually get through to the team, I'm reminded they 'know' about the issue and tell me a different dates that it will be fixed. I give up.
-
John (Eggsy) (@EggsyGLC) reported
@virginmedia No reason given. I was told that installation was finally going to happen yesterday but it did not. Can you arrange urgent Internet install? Please don't refer me to customer helpline, web chat or any online links as none if these have have resulted in anything in 32 days.
-
DelphiSwimsLate (@delphiswimslate) reported
@virginmedia But I’ve had intermittent service for weeks and when calling I was told issues started on the 4th Dec and won’t be resolved until 21st Dec. That’s a really long time. It doesn’t help that these online self-serve pages say that everything is ok.
