I was assured I would receive an email to confirm termination-nothing received. Heard this happens a lot and then Virgin challenge-pls sort.

The bank will then attempt to cancel it and if they too struggle, they do a chargeback. Enough chargebacks, and their account gets closed by Visa/MC Debit orders I avoid as far as possible
