@ianbriggs @virginmedia This is why I left them for Sky years ago. They are poor. Been with Sky for 12 years, and they have always been good customer service wise, and rectifying faults quick.

@Gunnerzak @virginmedia North west Europe perhaps but few places in US are as you describe tbh. I think the issue in the UK is that the infrastructure is much older than in many other countries. I have the same ISP as you & do frustratingly come across same issues. I pay for the 500Mbps package atm.

@Gunnerzak @virginmedia I’ve had similar issues, dropped too many times, @EE have been excellent an engineer was dispatched the same day, but still have issues. Fibre optic cabling is being laid in my road, so three weeks In’sha’Allah will joining BT-EE unbreakable Wifi… let’s see.

So Virgin Media convinced me that my connectivity issues were because my 100mbps package was insufficient for my needs and basically strong-armed me into upgrading to 200mbps for an extra £8 a month. Have a guess. Has the service improved at all? Of course it ******* hasn’t!!!
