@virginmedia Hi. I tried the link and it put me through to the chat system. I did all the preamble and then was picked up by Snehasish who basically told me I’ve got an engineer arriving Friday. Let’s hope! Thanks for your help.

@virginmedia I am not disputing the validity. I am stating that this is dreadful customer service. You cannot offer a connection and therefore I have no alternative. This is reflective of your lack of coverage. The poor customer service certainly means I’ll never be back. A very bitter taste

@virginmedia You’d think their customer services were good according to their lovely adverts. Automation is only so good when it keeps you in a useless loop going nowhere.

@virginmedia As I said, I am aware of the contract - however it reflects very poorly from a customer service perspective. You can’t offer a service to the capital city and want to charge me for your lack of coverage. Shocking business practise. #avoid #ripoffbritain @bbcone

@thealisonedgar I would understand if they offered a service and I was choosing not to take it. They can’t offer a connection in London - it’s not the outer Hebrides. Leaves a bitter taste. Will never go back to @virginmedia

@virginmedia This is getting boring now. Contacted customer services to be told a Virtual Technician would ring me by 18:00. I wasn’t holding out any hope. So far been without TV or Broadband for 10 days with so called engineers never turning up to replace equipment. I give up !!!!!

@virginmedia We've been calling since the 28 April to try to fix this, told wait a week we are doing something. Waited, nothing. Called back, same thing, wait a week. Nothing.

@MartynJohnPR @virginmedia I’m half way through an 18month contract - so it would be slightly more to let in run out. So frustrating as they’re saying it’s a disconnection fee but are the ones forcing me into it as they don’t offer the service

@virginmedia Hello, we called last night about our fault and repeatedly asked to be escalated to a manager, as this is ongoing for a month. No-one would, one member of staff even laughed and put us back in the queue. So not sure how a DM is going to help now.

@virginmedia Prehaps it would be better if the customer service line was set up to service customers? Not laugh at them and try to sell them business accounts as we are working from home in a pandemic. I guess I'll invest more time trying to solve your supply issue.

Terrible customer service from @virginmedia . Don’t offer coverage at my new house and want £250 to cancel my existing connection. Would be happy to take it with me but they can’t offer a service (that should be their issue not mine). #dreadful #avoid

@LDesesperes @virginmedia Customer service is terrible, no point in making a complaint as they say they'll contact you to discuss but never bother. As soon as an alternative option comes to our address we are leaving

@virginmedia We clearly stated that our intermittent issue, connection dropa multiple times a day and stays down for 30 mins at times, happened on both wired and wireless connections. Your operative tried to sell us a WiFi extender for an extra £5 a month - a huge rip off and fixes nothing.

@virginmedia getting these emails saying “we are sorry you are leaving” but I didn’t cancel my service with you guys. Should I be worried about it?

@CEdvardz @virginmedia They added all sorts to my Dad's account that he had no need for. The prices aren't individually listed and customer "service" refused to tell me how much they were or how long they had been added so had to go through my Dad's old emails whilst he is recovering from a stroke!

: @virginmedia Hi, I have an issue and I can’t seem to find any info. For the past few months, my Wi-Fi intermittently drops from my iPad and iPhone. Wired connection to PC seems fine. Been putting up with it, but really, I pay enough for fibre that this shouldn’t happen.

@virginmedia You have to be joking? I’ve been through all avenues here, reset tye hub, plugged and unplugged it countless times. Logged into the router itself looking for issues. It’s not fixed it! I need either a new router or for an engineer to fault find. But no. VM don’t do that.

@virginmedia Nothing further? No help? Typical virgin media. On alive as a company because the entire sector is shambles. @Ofcom when exactly are you going to start regulating these lot properly? @MoneySavingExp just another story of a poor performing teleco I assume?

@virginmedia Repeatedly sending me an email about a compaint that was (eventually) resolved a month ago isn't clever. Including a link on the email that leads to a page saying "Oh, ******. We can't find that page" is just plain stupid.
-
Alex
(@wisebynameonly) reported
@virginmedia You know what. A private phone line would work! Oh wait…..you SAY you offer that but the reality is it’s actually an awful phone line that just cuts you off. Once again. How are you going to sort this issue? I can’t contact you in any way but Twitter because they. Don’t. Work.

@virginmedia : I’ve already checked, no known issues in my area, no faults detected, and I’ve rebooted my hub many, many times over the last few months.
