Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Stratford and nearby locations:

  • donnorcean Connor Dean (@donnorcean) reported from London, England

@virginmedia have had intermittent issues for over a month now, every time I go down the route of reporting the issue it just says wait 24 hours. How can I speak to someone about this as the phone number never gets me to a person?

  • donnorcean Connor Dean (@donnorcean) reported from London, England

@virginmedia Still cutting in and out as it has been for many weeks… no local area issues listed anywhere. Have been trying to get ahold of someone for weeks now but just keeps looping in the app, really frustrating

  • NoddyMaccy ✖️𝔻𝕖𝕒𝕟 𝕄𝕔𝔽𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕒𝕟𝕖✖️ (@NoddyMaccy) reported from Romford, England

@virginmedia The issue has now been resolved just after my tweet, I was just very angry at the time. Thank you though for responding.

  • timhyson Tim Hyson (@timhyson) reported from Bromley, England

@virginmedia 20 hours of being passed around your customer ‘care’ teams and no progress. And yet I doubt this is even close to a record.

  • paulusthegrey Paul Simmonds (@paulusthegrey) reported from Borehamwood, England

@virginmedia I think I may have an idea what’s happened to your service in #borehamwood It looks like a kerbside box has been totalled by a drunk driver.

  • charliewhu__ char🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 (@charliewhu__) reported from Camden Town, England

@virginmedia hi, received my new phone. Except there’s no 4G/5G showing up even though I can send messages, go on social media and I can’t access sky bet. Is there any solution to this?

  • Paul___SW18 Richard 🏳️‍🌈 (he/him) (@Paul___SW18) reported from Wandsworth, England

Hey @O2 just struggled down to the shopping centre to take advantage of the @GreggsOfficial free hot drink & treat offer, via my @virginmedia account, (available until 0000 tomorrow apparently) but got here, and offers have disappeared from app or come up as ‘sold out’ 🤬🤬🤬🤬

  • NoddyMaccy ✖️𝔻𝕖𝕒𝕟 𝕄𝕔𝔽𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕒𝕟𝕖✖️ (@NoddyMaccy) reported from Romford, England

Currently receiving terrible customer service from @virginmedia. Strongly considering ending my contact with them and going elsewhere!!

  • NoddyMaccy ✖️𝔻𝕖𝕒𝕟 𝕄𝕔𝔽𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕒𝕟𝕖✖️ (@NoddyMaccy) reported from Romford, England

@virginmedia My phone is now over two weeks late, which isn’t an issue, I understand waiting for one to become available to send but to suggest I send this phone back and go without a phone until one eventually gets sent to me is just ridiculous. I’m not gonna pay my bills with no phone…

  • beccaleigh99 Rebecca Gould (@beccaleigh99) reported from Islington, England

@virginmedia hello, since you ‘upgraded’ the WiFi in our area - Clerkenwell- the WiFi signal has been terrible. To whom shall I complain? Thanks

  • markhayo MarcHayo (@markhayo) reported from Kensington, England

Well done to the engineers @virginmedia for sorting out my internet in Earl’s Court (ahead of time as usual). I appreciate that people have genuine problems, but we need to keep a sense of proportion. Especially compared with brave Ukrainians who face far worse troubles than us.

  • GabrielaLungu Gabriela Lungu (@GabrielaLungu) reported from Kensington, England

@virginmedia it’s been over one month of really poor or inexistent broadband service in London W11. I hope you won’t charge us for the last month.

  • myball123 Simon Groutage (@myball123) reported from Bexleyheath, England

@virginmedia hi there, all of our services have dropped out in the last ten minutes, the router changed to a flashing red light without anybody touching it. I have rebooted the router and it comes back on but is still flashing red. No TV, no WiFi, no landline help please

  • Khaled_Miah1 Khaled Miah (@Khaled_Miah1) reported from Poplar, England

@virginmedia very disappointed with the upgrade package in being offered by Virgin. You are offering a loyal customer to upgrade to Gig1 for £51.15 whereas new customers get it for £45 p/m. Where is the loyalty?

  • WordDoodler 𝚂𝚝𝚎𝚙𝚑𝚎𝚗 𝙵𝚒𝚝𝚣𝚜𝚒𝚖𝚘𝚗𝚜 (@WordDoodler) reported from Tottenham, England

So it turns out @virginmedia have a help system that isn’t helpful. Catch-22 built into system and no tv. Why am I paying them?

  • DEDNaive Debbs Durston (@DEDNaive) reported from Enfield Lock, England

@virginmedia Look just leave it tonight. If it’s the same in the morning I’ll contact customer service to see how long it will take to close my account. Cheers for trying to help.

  • GabrielaLungu Gabriela Lungu (@GabrielaLungu) reported from Kensington, England

@virginmedia Yes, they are known issues; but they haven’t been fixed in over a month! Every day the message keeps changing. Thursday the promise is to have things fixed by Friday, Friday it moves to Monday aso… It’s been like this for a month 🤯 We work from home; we need decent broadband.

  • NoddyMaccy ✖️𝔻𝕖𝕒𝕟 𝕄𝕔𝔽𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕒𝕟𝕖✖️ (@NoddyMaccy) reported from Romford, England

@virginmedia I contacted customer services for an update on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I was informed by your Twitter account I wouldn’t need to send my current phone back until I receive my new one. I was then informed by the gentleman on the phone my new phone won’t be sent until I send this

  • GabrielaLungu Gabriela Lungu (@GabrielaLungu) reported from Kensington, England

@virginmedia Right… in the meantime I trust you won’t charge us. No service should at least mean no pay. If not also a bonus for the disruption and the frustration caused 😑

  • GraemePuttock Graeme Puttock (@GraemePuttock) reported from Enfield Lock, England

@virginmedia service status on your website is not correct for the N9 area. The site says no issues but CS line confirms there are issues and engineers are working on it. No useable broadband since Friday. Will we get refunds and what's the ETA on a fix?

Argh!!! I absolutely hate @virginmedia broadband and TV rubbish signal even with a booster!! Fed up of paying for something I'm not getting!!

  • SimonWood2k5 Simon Wood (@SimonWood2k5) reported

@virginmedia Yes but you do nothing about them. Please don't try to kid me that you care because you've had years to sort these issues out. It could be a good box if you'd used decent software designers who cared about the users. But you didn't. It's all so cobbled together it's laughable.

  • Whats_UpWithU P (@Whats_UpWithU) reported

@virginmedia Not using your awful broadband I’m not. 3 months with awful speeds.

@TheBrummyGooner @virginmedia I’m with you there mate - every night I have to ring up so they can send a signal down my line. Not allowed to cancel and they’re webchat doesn’t even work. £53 a month for basic tv and no internet - disgraceful!!
