  @Benleo @virginmedia I was a service engineer for many years for Virgin (formally Telewest). You most certainly do not have to renew a contract to get a cable fixed. Also the Indian call centre has been a long-standing issue for their customers. Very poor service

  @emma_blingo @Benleo @virginmedia Very, very common. I don’t know a single person who gets the speed (consistently) that they’re actually paying for. This, I think, is a huge scandal that’s never really looked at.

  @IamCarrieagain @virginmedia The BNC (round) cables are the same, and the ethernet cables are the same. The only real issue you might have is changing your WiFi password on each device you have, and swapping the power brick depending on where you have your router.

  Wow. Shockingly bad by @virginmedia. Lying to @BenLeo that he needed a new contract in order to get equipment repaired, misselling him the contract with a box that didn’t work (admitted by them) and then telling him he wasn’t allowed to go back to his old contract.

  @Stephencheatley @virginmedia We had the full VM package quite a few years back but always had issues with their tv service. We ended up going with Sky and havent had any problems since then. We kept the broadband with Virgin because we get 1GB for £38 month with Netflix included. Shop around mate 👍
