Appalling from @virginmedia today! The whole network in shambles today, no one working from has been able to do anything! Just spent 40 minutes listening to Footlose in their phone queue and as I got to the front, they put the phone on me! Absolute shambles!

@virginmedia So you cancel the service months if not years before the 4G replacement is a really extensive alternative, while increasing your prices and telling customers “sorry, but that’s tough”. I understand your team is just at the sharp end dealing with flack, but that’s really bad of VM

@virginmedia Broadband down again this morning in SE London, got through to customer services and they advised the outage expected to be fixed by 12th April. No compensation offered and I would have to pay a penalty to cancel my contract.

@jeffsprogress @virginmedia @Hyperoptic I was with Hyperoptic for 4 years, not a single outage I can recall. Swapped to Virgin Media last autumn because they offered a cheaper and better deal. Had nothing but problems since. And now they have the temerity to hike the bills. When I can swap back to Hyperoptic, I will.

@virginmedia Hi there. Your fibre cabinet in my street has it's door wide open and all the connections exposed. Either broken open or left unlocked. It's outside 126/128 Caledonia Road, Ayr. Box # AYR62316. Wedged shut with a piece of cardboard for now to stop people noticing.

@virginmedia No it states all OK. But speeds are shocking 126 kbps, this is an ongoing problem, so fed up of Virgin Media, hoping you put your prices up so I can get out of my contract early. When it works it’s OK, but lots of 🐌 speeds most of time. Certainly not 100mb speed, yes over WiFi.
