Working from home is super fun when Virgin Media’s internet in south east London goes down completely for the entire morning and you have to use the hotspot on your phone to try and get any work done 😬

@virginmedia Nothing other than to telephone again. We do now have an appointment so we will see if it gets fixed. Two of us working from home in zoom-heavy roles has been very difficult. And the only action we have got has been via ombudsman not your customer services.

@JohnKingscott @virginmedia As an IT manager for Her Majesty’s Treasury I find it annoyingly ironic that my role now involves governing their hybrid video calls but I can’t actually join any because my broadband is down. Ridiculous. I’ll be discussing compensation for loss of service with the area manager

@virginmedia Yes, down for two days and when i called yesterday they said it was gonna be fixed today and it is not. I work from home. I have already spent my @EE mobile iNet and I'm buying @bt_uk passes. How can I cancel the service and move to other provider?

@virginmedia It seems to happen on both, and I've called 3 times now and my issue doesn't seem to get solved. I've ran the test on the phone, with both the robot and with an actual employee. They said within 48 hours it would be fixed and still nothing has given.

@virginmedia Currently I'm subscribed to 200MB, and the speeds I get vary so much, my main issue is ping/ms. I used to get 25/30 ping/ms and now its 40 stable and it spikes to 20,000, 15,000 it's ridiculous.
