@SkyUK sort your help line out! ‘Calls are taking longer to answer, you may be waiting up to 10 minutes. Currently it’s 18 minutes 7 seconds on hold. Pay over £119 a month for a service I ain’t getting. @BT @virginmedia might be getting a new customer soon!

@virginmedia At some-point in Dec I try cancelling contract through online chat => computer says no, you must phone up. Ugh. I don't understand why, but fine... 29th Dec -my move out date- I phone up to cancel, 25 minutes later apparently it's done. (...to be continued)

So @virginmedia tech team have ruined my Internet connection and ended up causing 2 hour delay and missed deadline for me today. Then, they've claimed they can't fix it, yet tired to charge money to try to fix it. If they're going to put you through to the "gadget team", beware -

@jaynemesis Virgin Media ate up NTL/Telewest. NTL itself was such an amalgamation of different providers and tech that they had all kinds of issues and systems to support. Whilst I'd like to think that the past decade or so has resolved all of that it wouldn't surprise me if not.
