Vodafone Issues Reports Near Sunbury-on-Thames, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Sunbury-on-Thames and nearby locations:

  • BeefyRoberts Beefy Roberts (@BeefyRoberts) reported from Hillingdon, England

So, @VodafoneUK, after 24 months of dreadful service and virtually non existent internet coverage, I can finally leave you and go to a decent provider, or, that's what I thought. Contract up, and finding a SIM only deal elsewhere is my plan

  • BeefyRoberts Beefy Roberts (@BeefyRoberts) reported from Hillingdon, England

    4. I ask @VodafoneUK for the code please, answer? No, you need to submit a form, but, can you see my code I ask? It's a form you send I get told again. I fill it in, and get told this can take upto 10 days to be returned. Crap customer service.

  • AndrewCarrier Andrew Carrier 🍸 (@AndrewCarrier) reported from Hammersmith, England

@markchristie I enjoy feeding you material! I’m caught in a similar loop with @VodafoneUK at the moment. The problem is that the people manning their social handles don’t have any more information than is available on their website and, crucially, no authority. It’s so damaging to the brand.

  • Geojam George Biswas (@Geojam) reported from Virginia Water, England

@VodafoneUK so just over 3 days since an engineer visit to fix serious broadband connectivity issues, my case is closed and the issues return. Not good enough Vodafone 😡now my unique reference number has expired, I guess I have to endure hours of tests to get back

  • AndrewCarrier Andrew Carrier 🍸 (@AndrewCarrier) reported from Hammersmith, England

@VodafoneUK So - in short - Vodafone UK doesn’t support Family Setup on Apple Watch. Any plans to do so in the future or do I need to take my plan to @EE instead?

  • BeefyRoberts Beefy Roberts (@BeefyRoberts) reported from Hillingdon, England

    3. Devious @VodafoneUK. I phone your useless customer service, and I talk to 5, yes FIVE different people who all ask me the same damn questions. Eventually I am told I need a code to unlock phone. You dont tell that do you? Naughty Vodamoan!

  • DanielJohnLynch Daniel John Lynch (@DanielJohnLynch) reported from Paddington, England

Forgot to pay @VodafoneUK by 5 days. Vodafone’s answer? Not to remind me, but to get @TheZincGroup to send a letter saying they’re going to cut me off, possibly add £638 or send to debt collector making it £841. *clears throat* go **** yourselves!

  • cressidarobson Cressida Robson (@cressidarobson) reported from Hounslow, England

@VodafoneUK I would love any messages at all since you turned off the internet and mobile phone at Brentford’s High St and Ealing Road - when will you supposed idiotic ‘secret’ upgrade which has knocked out our signal for two week be done?

  • AndrewCarrier Andrew Carrier 🍸 (@AndrewCarrier) reported from Hammersmith, England

@VodafoneUK Mille, it would be much easier to be patient if we knew how long it was really going to take to fix. An hour? A day? A week? A month? Please just be transparent. “As quickly as possible” doesn’t mean anything.

  • cressidarobson Cressida Robson (@cressidarobson) reported from Hounslow, England

@VodafoneUK @samwarburton_ @lionsofficial No because you turned off out internet access and mobile phone signal with your ‘secret’ upgrade - any chance you could turn it back in again so we could watch something!? Anything?

  • AndyWebbDJ Andy Webb - Mclaren 👍🧡🏁 (@AndyWebbDJ) reported from Burnham, England

Dear oh Dear ! Why in a global pandemic when everyone is at home with Wi-fi can you NOT negotiate with your provider. @VodafoneUK @VodafoneHeIp Just spent nearly 2 hrs trying #Timetoleave 10yrs+ loyal customer #vodafonecustomerservice

  • Geojam George Biswas (@Geojam) reported from Virginia Water, England

@VodafoneUK I keep having broadband connectivity issues, each time I end up spending an hour or more on online chats with your staff, some good, others not. In the end nothing is resolved & I’m convinced the real issue is the ancient Openreach infrastructure in my area.

  • BeefyRoberts Beefy Roberts (@BeefyRoberts) reported from Hillingdon, England

    2. My new provider SIM arrives, after already passing my PUK code to them, and its time to kick @VodafoneUK into touch, or so I thought...WRONG! You keep things to yourself and fail to tell departing customers that another code is needed to unlock phone

  • BeefyRoberts Beefy Roberts (@BeefyRoberts) reported from Hillingdon, England

    5. It gets to something @VodafoneUK when the mobile data doesnt even work inside my own house! Will you be able to give any proper answers why this has been a mobile disaster, and why, whenever I called customer service I got same answers, told to visit local shop for help?

  • SiKing1243 Si (@SiKing1243) reported from Redhill, England

@VodafoneUK when we renewed our contract a few months ago we were told you were going to send us the latest Hub. Have never received it. Tried calling customer service and was on hold for over an hour so gave up. Please sort this!!

  • Geojam George Biswas (@Geojam) reported from Virginia Water, England

@VodafoneUK How can I get one of your support staff to fast track through my previous contact with you, saving both you and I time? The issue is almost definitely outside my home and nothing to do with your router or the infrastructure in my house.

  • AndrewCarrier Andrew Carrier 🍸 (@AndrewCarrier) reported from Hammersmith, England

@VodafoneUK, do your support Family Setup on the Apple Watch SE? Trying to add my son’s watch to my plan but it’s not offering me the option during setup.

  • cressidarobson Cressida Robson (@cressidarobson) reported from Hounslow, England

@VodafoneUK How about giving us some signal so we could actually make Zoom calls? You have knocked out the internet at Brentford High St and Ealing Road for two weeks and we cannot work or home school

  • cressidarobson Cressida Robson (@cressidarobson) reported from Hounslow, England

@VodafoneUK Stop ignoring us and sending us stupid machine generated emails giving false deadlines and cheerily telling us it’s an upgrade WE HAVE NO INTERNET OR PHONE

  • superpiran Piran Sucindran (@superpiran) reported from Hillingdon, England

Just been told by @VodafoneUK to “wait until after shutdown” to sort out my ridiculous broadband issues! Utterly shambolic service start to finish!

  • AnnPierceJones Ann 🇪🇺🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿💙 (@AnnPierceJones) reported

@Ofcom @itvnews I have made 4 applications to @VodafoneUK since 23 Jan for social tariff broadband. I receive confirmation email but then complete silence. I have spent hours on helpline trying to resolve issue. According to Vodafone criteria I do qualify. Investigate please.

  • dancerdudejay J (@dancerdudejay) reported

Ummmmm @UKgovcomms @VodafoneUK why did I just get an emergency alert message AGAIN at 7:50am

  • KarenInspireYZ Karen Hunter (@KarenInspireYZ) reported

Any explanation as to why you sent a 2nd emergency alert at 2am this morning? @VodafoneUK

  • LindaAspey Linda Aspey (@LindaAspey) reported

Whatever you do, don’t move yr broadband account to @VodafoneUK ! I’ve been online in a chat for 1.5 hours trying to get my login link to work and get a booster. Went thru security numerous times. Now been told I have to upgrade. To same price as BT account I moved from. #fail

  • DeanTurner85 Drop your gear (@DeanTurner85) reported

@Scugnizzo60 @VodafoneUK Yeah I think we will have to go down that route from now on. They are certainly taking the biscuit I think

  • lilylabyrinth Claire (@lilylabyrinth) reported

Didn’t get yesterday’s emergency alarm and I’m on @VodafoneUK . On the news they seemed to say it was a 3 thing if you didn’t get it, but obviously it’s not exclusively that 🤔 #emergencyalarm

  • rahim94 Rahim™ 🇬🇧🇲🇦 (@rahim94) reported

@LanaghanJames @VodafoneUK Three are awful. It's no wonder they're having to merge with Vodafone in order to survive

  • mitchpink40 tracey mitchell (@mitchpink40) reported

@VodafoneUK anyone considering switching to Vodafone full fibre broadband, think carefully. 48hr timescale for contact (not fixing) re a fault. Lack of customer care. Worth paying more to get a better service. Lesson learnt

  • kittenpaws16 KitKat (@kittenpaws16) reported

@VodafoneUK any chance of actually speaking to a person and not getting fobbed off to connect to chat where I’m 42nd in the queue. Worst customer service ever 🤬🤬🤬

  • SmithStephenP Stephen Smith (@SmithStephenP) reported

@PrueBray @vodaphone Would you have been on the @VodafoneUK network? I was and I received both the alert tone and the alert message.
