🇬🇧J🇬🇧 (@_JIMBO55) reportedEveryone beware. If you are with @VodafoneUK there is a scam phoning people and offering a new improved contract and a free phone as a gift. Do not give your details. Just hang up. It looks official, SMS phone numbers and emails all look real but are 100% fake. Not Vodafone
-
Chamara Iresh (@chamrairesh) reported@VodafoneUK Got targeted by a sophisticated scam impersonating Vodafone, same sender ID, real account details, and convincing support language. Looked 100% legit. Reported it, but no proper investigation. Customers beware: never share verification codes. #Scam #Fraud
-
not fred (@___NF___O_O) reported@VodafoneUK broadband down plz fix

Paul Jones - Performer/Shooter, Web sites🔞 (@pauljonesAIR) reported@VodafoneUK OK, so, a complaint Phone, with bank cards, lost. No problem, get a new one. I went to the vodafone shop, with my passport and my bank statement. They can't help. They can only order a sim for a lost phone if I have my bank cards. The ones in the phone. That will take a week to replace. They told me to phone customer services. CS were surprised the shop could not help, so put me through security. Which I failed. I even have a 4 digit code? Never used it. My last bill? No idea, because it's a text on my phone. Look at my bank statement? Fair plan, but my LOST PHONE is my 2FA device, so before showing my my statement, my bank will send a text to my phone, the one I don't have any more... They said I failed security and the only option would be a security reset. They'd send me an email. You know what the security reset asks for? a PHOTO of my passport and a PHOTO of my bank statement. You know what is LESS SECURE than a person standing in front of you, with their physical passport and bank statement? A photo of those documents attached to a form. It's almost as though you have not paid attention to what AI image generation can do these days. If you ever need to get a DBS check, they require you turn up, in person , and present physical documents. Not photos. SUGGESTION : If a customer comes to a shop with their passport and bank statement, THAT IS SECURE ID and the shop should be able to order a sim replacement.

Gill R (@thespiralquirk) reportedDearie me @VodafoneUK: here's at least one customer checking when her contract's up as I try very hard to not buy good or services from businesses that demean women at the expense of men. Not to mention ones who believed every wrong thing Stonewall told them and have, apparently, completely missed the SC judgment in FWS. Catherine Wright is a she/her btw 🙄
-
Daniel Pybus (@danielpybus) reported@VodafoneUK is 10 days reasonable to fix a faulty phone you sold me for £1200 and your app said it’s a faulty battery. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to have a faulty phone repaired or replaced within a "reasonable time"
-
Pasty (@rhyshunt5) reported@VodafoneUK I need to pay my bill but I am abroad and can’t access my uk number to receive an OTP to log in . I only have a data plan so can’t call. Tried ToBi - useless! Slow and inaccurate. Please advise on way forward
-
Ralph Hardwick (@HardwickRalph) reported@VodafoneUK Just spent 25 minutes on the phone regarding my current arrangement, for the 3rd time. On both previous calls promises to respond and own the problem. No response to either. Appalling customer service. Asked to be put through to Max Taylor. Now want another 10 days!
-
Nigel Cliff (Old *** With Too Many Cameras) (@Cliffyboy13) reported@VodafoneUK You've sent me a bill despite me having left Vodafone in February,I tried phoning but your automated system doesn't cover my problem and your TOBI chat has been hanging for 20 minutes, how am I supposed to sort this out
-
Walkie-talkie repairs UK (@2_Way_Radios) reported@VodafoneUK Tried to resolve an issue with two people, no joy. Going to use my cooling off period to cancel before you even install my broadband. Very poor service and cable install. #cancel #PoorService
