Just spoke to a lovely person at BT who had to break the news that the "update" I was due to get today was "ring back on Feb 20 for an update"

You thought it was the hub so you sent us a new one but turned out to be an incorrectly wired junction box. So now got a brand new hub lying around. The issue is you weren’t able to spot whether it was a scam number or not. So the question is why are BT as a company putting their customers through this? Just as well i rang @bt_uk at 5pm to find out. Since I was warned that I would be charged £50 if I was not in im expecting some comp!
