  @bt_uk Thanks for the reply. The light is consistently on; the issue is the connection keeps dropping - good one minute, not working the next - and this is not isolated to one device (or just Apple devices). All very odd.

  @rizwan_jalil @SmethwickWMP @sandwellcouncil There’s a real issue across the entire area with @BTCare neglecting their phone boxes. It’s almost impossible to find out how to report issues to them. Issues in Bearwood include filthy interiors, flyposting, smashed handsets... minimal investment in their upkeep.

'If your automated systems are secretly scanning my IP address without my consent and blocking my service because I use a secure dedicated IP, that is a fault in YOUR system, not mine.   @bt_uk Every time I go into the support we spend two hours. They do automated tests from some call centre abroad and tell me that my system's working fine. It hasn't been working fine since November so I'm just waiting to leave my contract.

  Dear @bt_uk You do not have my consent to install anything on my property. If it is free, it cannot be for my benefit. It's for yours. If it's cheaper for you, you can give me a share of your savings. I had no choice over the digital voice downgrade. @openreach will have to trespass to install it. If it is a condition of receiving service, say so and I will seek alternatives. (@Starlink or 5g) Is it on the T&C's? A letter is on its way to your registered address. David Sinfield.
