@bt_uk Hello. There was an internet outage at my 85 year old father’s house from Saturday to yesterday. It seems to have been resolved now. He has been confused by someone selling him a TV box & a Hybrid connect device which I don’t think he needs.

Reported a fault with my @BTCare broadband on Friday, got it assessed and a true fault was detected. Engineer booked for today, 8-10. 730, engineer called to say he's on his way. 840, problem fixed (new master socket) 👍🏻

@bt_uk I've got it reported now and have a Halo on order for delivery tomorrow. Just putting up with a shared 4G MiFi for today. Very slow compared with my usual FTTC connection though. How do people cope with such limited speeds nowadays?

@SpoderBrad @bt_uk Power line adapters can operate on the same MHz frequency as the router causing problems. Bin them and get the Wi-Fi disks from BT. I use a Wi-Fi disk on the PS5 upstairs on the boys bedroom, hardwired to it and I can achieve over 250mb 👍🏻

@bt_uk My set up from the box is: Hdmi to TV. Optical Out to Sound System. TV volume set to 0. All sound is played via the Sound System (optical out). ALL live channels and ALL streaming/catch up services working fine - ACCEPT ITV Hub. No sound signal being sent to the optical.
