My 88yo Dad is home alone, his landline has been down for over a week and we have no way of contacting him. My bro @MartinHowitt has rung @bt_uk every day and despite their promises, still nothing. Dad is recently out of hospital and we are worried. @bt_uk WHAT'S GOING ON?

@bt_uk I get bad reception problems on BBC 4 and BBC News channels in the evening, both of which I use a lot. I have rebooted box, checked all my leads. Signal quality/strength is fine in mornings but in evening quality is 10% or less and pic and sound cut out.

We still have a fault with @bt_uk broadband. If I log into my account it tells me all is fine, despite being sent an email from them that says they currently can't fix it. On and off all day. Impossible.

Just a fun anecdote to add @bt_uk...we've spoken to at least 4 people about this and have been cut off every time. I have now driven to a car park in the hope of actually getting to speak to someone who can fix this problem. Pls help.

@bt_uk We have a new hub coming, today, so will see if that solves things. Support told me that, if it doesn't, there's nothing more they can do. Not sure where that leaves me, having shelled out £200 for Complete Wi-fi discs, though.
