  • baldybeardyguy Alister FULTON (@baldybeardyguy) reported from Rochester, England

Week 5 of broadband speeds so slow with @bt_uk we may as well not have it. 4g is faster. They've fiddled and dig and made excuses and now, once again, can't even update when they've said they would. All this, right now when we're trying to work and school from home. @Ofcom

  • kevcorb Kevin C (@kevcorb) reported from Royal Tunbridge Wells, England

Thanks to a broken Sky dish I'm having to watch the BTSport version of Gillette Soccer Saturday.... it's like watching the BDO darts once the PDC has finished.

  • lollifloss Emma brown (@lollifloss) reported from Maidstone, England

Trying to blackmail me into signing a new contract instead of fixing a problem is bad, bad customer service @bt_uk

  • WhiskyOneIce Mark (@WhiskyOneIce) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

@NilWil1972 @bt_uk Bad move Nils 😕 Tell them you want Hub 5 back.... Halo is very unstable so my BT engineer mates tell me 🙄

  • MikeHead8 Mikey Mike Timebomb (@MikeHead8) reported from Swanley, England

@MashStPaddy @btsport @BarrowAFC @bromleyfc Tv never cares about fans it's just it was never affecting us before .

  • martinc1970 Martin Chamberlain (@martinc1970) reported from Stone, England

@bt_uk Working broadband on main router or mini hub would be nice for a change. This is nothing short of breach of contract. In this day and age how can it take 50+ days to sort a problem with no proper explanations of what's wrong. I'm cancelling ASAP

  • stubro1970 Stuart B (@stubro1970) reported from Horsmonden, England

@bt_uk Yes Paula I have reported it but theres no engineer available until 2/8, my fault ref is VOL055-416379784342, seems so many residents locally have the same problem, I think one engineer could fix all the problems in one visit

  • baldybeardyguy Alister FULTON (@baldybeardyguy) reported from Ditton, England

Woke up today hoping that @bt_uk broadband might have sorted itself out, but nooooo. Day 5 with no service/in-out/worst speeds ever.

  • stubro1970 Stuart B (@stubro1970) reported from Horsmonden, England

@bt_uk That would be sensible, in the meantime I guess I'll be paying for a service I'm not getting..

  • baldybeardyguy Alister FULTON (@baldybeardyguy) reported from Rochester, England

@bt_uk infrastructure clearly not up to the job. Told two different times for fix yesterday, still not sorted. Now told Wednesday. Ongoing since Thursday. Moving goalposts on SLA. No good when you're self employed. Reliable broadband essential. Utterly useless.

  • baldybeardyguy Alister FULTON (@baldybeardyguy) reported from Rochester, England

Nearly three weeks with no or limited boadband service from @bt_uk continually moving fix dates /excuses and now no updates at all, just standard responses. NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

  • Road2Kili Darren Young (@Road2Kili) reported from Gillingham, England

@ufc worrying that a new UFC Champion celebrates by using a pretend gun to shoot the crowd... @btsport best thing to happen your transmission going down!

  • johnbarbiebutt john flood (@johnbarbiebutt) reported from Stone, England

@BTCare have sent you a few DM due to broadband keep crashing! Happening every hour and lasts 10 mins! Systems saying to issue in area but that’s not case as keeps happening!

  • martinc1970 Martin Chamberlain (@martinc1970) reported from Stone, England

@bt_uk Direct debit cancelled. I don't see why I should pay my bill when you've got no interest in fixing my broadband or even providing me with a service or update within 50 days. You should be paying me compensation too.

  • baldybeardyguy Alister FULTON (@baldybeardyguy) reported from Rochester, England

@Ofcom might want to take a look at @bt_uk. Seems lots of people getting poor service and poor excuses right now. Charging people for a service they've promised but clearly don't have the infrastructure to provide.

  • DoctorKoolBeans Rob Bagley (@DoctorKoolBeans) reported from Maidstone, England

@BTCare my tv signal has been shocking these last two weeks. Think i will switch to someone more reliable like @virginmedia

  • DanHewitt2011 Daniel Hewitt (@DanHewitt2011) reported from Gillingham, England

@btsport you’ve hyped that fight up for over two weeks making this absolutely piss poor opponent a challenge for DDD, this idiot wasn’t even amateur! Proper rubbish boxing on BT again, taking nothing away from DDD can only beat what’s in front of him

  • Road2Kili Darren Young (@Road2Kili) reported from Gillingham, England

@btsportufc @ufc worrying that a new UFC Champion celebrates by using a pretend gun to shoot the crowd... @btsport best thing to happen your transmission going down!

  • erskineandrew Andrew Erskine (@erskineandrew) reported from Sevenoaks, England

For both @SkySports and @btsport to require millions of customers to queue for hours to cancel when there is no sport is corporate chiselling of worst sort. You can buy online - should be able to stop online.

  • mrslring Laura Ring (@mrslring) reported from Maidstone, England

@bt_uk appalled by the level of service received from you trying to sort out a package for my Dad. Agreed a deal nearly 2 weeks which has been set up incorrectly. Customer service inadequate and now he’s been charged £25 for something we didn’t agree to include

BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • MarvR18 Marv (@MarvR18) reported from Fingal County, Leinster

@btsport please get your commentators to commentate on the game. We know VAR has its issues, the pundits will discuss at HT. You concentrate on the play don’t spend more time crapping on about VAR after the correct decision has been made. No wonder people are fed up of it!

  • Shaund442 Shaun (@Shaund442) reported

@bt_uk @OakNational So my Internet has been playing up no end since this new firmware update, had a new smart hub sent out and still same rubbish which is awful net on mode 1 and won't connect to discs on mode 2. Shocking service that I'm paying nearly 40 a month for.

  • lyndsaythom19 Lyndsay Thompson (@lyndsaythom19) reported

@bt_uk I'm sorry but I don't believe this, I have BT but always having issues with my internet

  • LoraineDavies Loraine Davies (@LoraineDavies) reported

@bt_uk I am tired of endlessly raising complaints about the broadband service we are receiving. The signal drops at least twice a day and always at approx 22:00. Will you PLEASE get this fixed IMMEDIATELY. This has been going on for MONTHS! I understand East Anglian service is...

  • TonyCarty7 tony (@TonyCarty7) reported

@bt_uk I've got stuff to do can you help??

  • adamsmyth1986 Adam Smyth (@adamsmyth1986) reported

@virginmedia You have staff to reply to tweets yet technical help lines are poorly resourced.... @bt_uk what deals do you have to rival @virginmedia that I can point my in-laws to? Any recommend a fiend bonus I can cash in on? Never had a BT issue in 7 years.

  • Trulyshocking Truly Shocking (@Trulyshocking) reported

@bt_uk I’m on fibre 1 with approx 12 months remaining on 24 month contract. Looking at terminating services, would I be correct in assuming termination fees are approx 12 x monthly bill? Would moving service to new property mean I have to have to sign up for further 24 months?

  • LisaFar34706367 Lisa Farley (@LisaFar34706367) reported

@bt_uk Hilarious advert; ours cut out today. 3 children and husband all needing it to work. How will you be paying each of them the £100? It wasn’t just us - several streets. Do you care?

  • GCClifford Gordon Clifford (@GCClifford) reported

@bt_uk I even had a bit of a techy problem setting it up (which ended up my fault) I emailed BT support and got a one to one phone call from a BT engineer who sorted it out 👏🏻👏🏻
