They claim you can gift 100GB but they don’t tell you until after that if you use data, that reduces your giftable allowance. Clear misselling here and even the @ee customer services agree!

That I have had my line rental refunded a couple of times due to poor service. Last thing I was told was "you're free to leave", so..
