@EE I bought a Smart 5G Hub from your George Street, Richmond store and they suggested I should get 100-200mb on 5G as I live on the same street. I know mobile signal speed can vary, but I'm only getting 15-25mb on 5G during the day when I need it to work from home. Can you help?

  • CorkGourmetGuy Dave Ahern (@CorkGourmetGuy) reported from Merton, England

The last time I called @EE to try and sort out being overcharged for my mobile bill, I spent 1hr and 10mins on the phone to 5 different people in 4 different teams in 2 different countries and they eventually cut me off, without sorting the problem and never called back.

Given cost of living crisis should @EE adopt @VodafoneUK’s approach on phone/airtime deals by setting up 2 contracts: 1. An open ended one for the phone service 2. A handset repayment plan, not subject to CPI increases, which automatically ends once paid off? Please retweet

  • ZedroyR Zedroy Rodrigues (@ZedroyR) reported from Erith, England

@EE worst provider and customer service for tv and Internet. Tweeting this every hour till I get my services back!!

Are there any network issues @EE ?? In central London and have no data or voice. Only able to use phone on Wi-Fi. Have tried rebooting, airplane mode etc.

  • feyipuk Phil (@feyipuk) reported from Erith, England

@briavelsjon @EE That is literally what I did. I logged it with the the app and I tweeted it here. There was no signal in somewhere I'll likely go back too. Is it a dead spot? If I don't say anything, nothing will change. I really could log onto indoor WiFi where there was no signal? Whose?

  • Covey_75 Sam (@Covey_75) reported from Islington, England

Lazy incompetent @DPD_U_K 🤬 Waited 3 days for a delivery from unhelpful @EE only for the useless courier to keep saying no one's in, poxy service!!!

  • NeilHigley Neil Higley (@NeilHigley) reported from Royal Kensington and Chelsea, England

@O2 your 4G is worse than a late 90’s dial up, when it works of course. As you are consistently failing to provide…well any service what so ever, I can break my contract no questions ask and go back to @EE that I wish I’d never left?

  • tykeharvey T y k e (@tykeharvey) reported from Worcester Park, England

@ee 5G is worse than there 4G it never blood loads anything

  • matt_sexton Matthew Sexton (@matt_sexton) reported from Croydon, England

Frustrating that you can't disable voicemail on @EE digital voice landline phones. Causing no end of problems with elderly relatives who can't get to the phone before it activates...

  • CorkGourmetGuy Dave Ahern (@CorkGourmetGuy) reported from Merton, England

@__Samantha8 @EE I did when it first started. I explained i had not requested to cancel my service. The request had been made at 2am. They said there was nothing they could do to stop the account being cancelled and I had to switch to EE. Apart from anything my broadband is slower now aswell.

  • CorkGourmetGuy Dave Ahern (@CorkGourmetGuy) reported from Merton, England

@__Samantha8 @EE I was with BT, I got an email saying I'd requested to cancel my service (which I hadn't), they said there was no way for them to stop it being cancelled and I had to switch to EE and pay more but that I'd get EE TV included, which I've never even connected as I don't want it.

  • ianeastlondon IanEastLondon (@ianeastlondon) reported from City of London, England

I’ve just had the pleasure of talking to @EE customer services. The person I spoke to kept insisting that the government set inflation and that EE have no choice about increasing their prices. Apparently the government makes them. Duh.

  • bertie_cee Rob Cockerton (@bertie_cee) reported from London, England

@MarcAllera absolutely exhausted with trying to end my contract with @EE I pay £105 a month which increases by £12 in april! Countless drop calls! Poor coverage yet my work colleagues on Tesco mobile laugh at me! I want to reduce my monthly bill but told I cannot

  • CorkGourmetGuy Dave Ahern (@CorkGourmetGuy) reported from Merton, England

@CagedChef457 @EE They've billed me for 2 months, and cut me off even though on the app it says my payment isn't due until the 29th. Their level of incompetence is utterly breathtaking. Their also still charging me for a mobile phone I paid off in March & when I tried to fix it they hung up on me

  • CorkGourmetGuy Dave Ahern (@CorkGourmetGuy) reported from Merton, England

Time on the phone to @EE today has now surpassed 2hrs and 20mins, trying to sort out their hysterically bad customer service.

EE Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Duncan_Leeds Duncan 🙏 🇺🇦 ❤️ 🌻 (@Duncan_Leeds) reported

@virginmedia @O2 Match made in heaven - don’t think so. Told my pretty basic package goes up from £60 to £75, yet a new customer can get a better package for £29.99. Phoned to ask if I could have the same & was basically told to bugger off. Not much point sticking around then. Off to @EE we go…

  • ShannonLouise49 Shannon Louise (@ShannonLouise49) reported

@EE our wifi has been down since 14:30, I have only just come home from work. The box is saying LOS

  • Eve423046151 Eve (@Eve423046151) reported

@Pally_Ally_ @EE You will never see refund from them ,

  • Jellyfish4EveR immortaljellyfish (@Jellyfish4EveR) reported

@EE @cromptoncasting Ok, Russ, but how come the network is getting worse? @EE is clearly taking advantage of the crisis by rising these prices, yet the network is getting worse by the day... #appalling

  • MarkR1892 Mark R (@MarkR1892) reported

@KatiesDisorder @EE Will try them again, used to get a poor signal indoors with them before as it's the O2 network. Hopefully, it's improved.

  • Returnofthe_Mc Robyn, Probably causing some form of Shenanigan (@Returnofthe_Mc) reported

@EE That last line completely disregards your whole damn argument because you're hiking prices 14%. Please stop with the generated script. This is disgraceful.

  • KurtColbeck Kurt Colbeck (@KurtColbeck) reported

Gotta say I regret going down the eSim route. Completely got no service at all now until a physical SIM arrives to activate. Don't make it easy to transfer to a new phone 😒 @EE

  • TheKloppStand The Klopp Stand (@TheKloppStand) reported

@EE @davedavebarlow1 Raise prices by all means but using contract law to threaten people with exit fees when they seek to find better value is available elsewhere is very arguably extortion. Customers must have a legal right to choose an alternative service if cost increases. @michaelgove

  • rwiggins2 15th Doctor (@rwiggins2) reported

@EE we have a 4G/5G home router that’s getting very poor signal - often below 1 megabit per second even after restarting. I have to use my phone 4G for work calls. My bill is going from £50 (far more than I’d ever paid for internet) to a whopping £57. Need a reason to stay!

  • DJMidarezaki Midarezaki, Esq.🇬🇧🇨🇦🇭🇰🇹🇼 #GETTR (@DJMidarezaki) reported

@ItsJamesPowers @EE This is why I buy my phone outright, and use a PAYG network for my personal line and a 1 month rolling SIM-only deal for my second line used for work (yes, they pay me an allowance). That way I'm not tied into anything and if giffgaff or Three annoy me enough I can easily move.
