@EE your customer service is great when entering a new contract but when I opted to exercise my rights under the 14 day cooling off law I experienced defensive, rude and inconsiderate staff - and you didn’t know you have a shop in enfield....

@EE I know. I wasn’t looking for advice. It’s not private data and it needn’t be secure - it’s just my damned phone number. Who cares? No. Sodding cheek. Never has a bill been overdue! I just want to speak to someone. You’re a telecoms company - phone me ??!!

Your stores are really pushing online @ee “Never do it online or over the phone. Things usually go wrong. Always do it in store”

  • andywhent
Andy Whent (@andywhent) reported from Enfield Lock, England

@EE Wifi router. I have been sent a brand new router in case that was the issue and had a technician come out. It was fine and then recently has been so slow but when I check the status there is a known problem in my area.

  • arigork

@EE following up on the bad signal in the area I now stay in, can’t even have a call while walking in the neighbourhood, I may have to make a drastic decision and move to @O2 I’m in a 12 month contract so what are the cancellation terms if you can not provide a reliable service?

  • MrsMummypennyUK
Lynn Beattie (@MrsMummypennyUK) reported from Knebworth, England

Shoddy customer service from @virginmedia compared to amazing customer service from @EE. Called EE today, immediately crediting my broadband bill after an error. Virgin media complaint still outstanding after two months.

  • ton_87L
Tonya 🦋🍓 (@ton_87L) reported from Barnet, England

Quite disgusting that @EE had planned works on signal in my area till 16th September and not one person from a telecommunications company has bothered to let me know or communicate this to me. What a **** up. Embarrassing.

  • philmonkey
Phil Rogers (@philmonkey) reported from London Colney, England

@EE Using hotspot on my iPhone XS - but exhibiting the same SSL problems I’ve been moaning about on here for the past few weeks - that said the laptop reveals more detail to the error

  • amawson
Andrew Mawson (@amawson) reported from Brookmans Park, England

@EE Up the bandwidth to high congestion areas. I'm not up for workarounds just because you are not delivering the service I am paying for...... Seems to me you guys and BT your owners are let off the bandwidth hook too often

@EE can I have some help

  • Wozza777
    Wozza (@Wozza777) reported

@stuuk11 @LeilaniDowding @EE I’ve been all through this with my parents they phone switches to the mobile network when the WiFi is down

  • chris_rosser
    Chris Rosser (@chris_rosser) reported

@LeilaniDowding @EE All Internet in UK is moving away from copper to the premises - and all the replacements require power to function - if you get a UPS you can plug your router and other devices (such as a phone interface) into it to keep them running during a power outage.

  • Malcolm_Sillick
    Malcolm Sillick (@Malcolm_Sillick) reported

@LeilaniDowding @EE Lellani, it's not just EE, it's everyone. Even those on cable (Virgin Media) still have to have the phone plugged into the router. Seems like a good idea, until you get a power cut (which can be supported by a back-up battery, which is NOT given as standard) If the internet goes down, then so does your phone. Great if you have a mobile, but if you live in an area with a poor mobile signal, so reply on 'Wi-Fi calling' in the house, then when the internet goes down, you also have no mobile service. It's called progress!!

  • mr_ed_peters
    Ed Peters (@mr_ed_peters) reported

@LeilaniDowding @EE The old PSTN network is being phased out (copper wires, low voltage old school telephones) as I recall. The phones you're thinking of won't be around much longer. Unless someone tells me otherwise.

  • franbinns
    eleanor binns (@franbinns) reported

EE broadband is absolute rubbish @EE talked into switching from sky..told I would be reimbursed for leaving fees (I wasn’t) now my super duper fast broadband fibre buffers all the time. I wish I’d never changed

  • Hodbow
    Alan's daughter the super supporter⚫⚪ (@Hodbow) reported

@EE my daughter signed up for your broadband on the basis of getting an iPad for £100. She has an email promising a text/email after the cooling off period. This has never materialised. She’s been into store & called and your staff couldn’t be more unhelpful.

  • Paul0970
    Paul (@Paul0970) reported

X really are useless, right? Report an account for impersonating @EE support and X says the account did not violate their terms of service. So they can carry on scamming.

  • stuuk11
    stuuk1🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 (@stuuk11) reported

@Wozza777 @LeilaniDowding @EE A lot of elderly people don’t have a mobile, some people live in areas where there is no mobile signal.

  • AlanDillon26041
    Alan (@AlanDillon26041) reported

@LeilaniDowding @EE Seen this first hand when power go's down for some time and yes its carnage. WiFi, cell towers all go down, no card works at shops, Becomes very ferrel very quickly. Why i went Starlink can power that off a power cube or generator and always keep cash..............
