Tried separating the bands then spent 20 minuets in hold and was advised to try turning the 5Ghz band off completely. No joy. No one is doing me proud.

Danté Banks (@Dante_Banks) reported from Tottenham, England@BibiLynch @Plusnet @VodafoneUK That's bollocks, Bobo. You shouldn't have to put up with that ****. 😡
-
Kevin Dewes (@kevindewes) reported from Wandsworth, England@Ofcom @Plusnet are letting you sign up to a contract when there’s a distinct chance the firmware they are using on their hardware is causing connectivity problems specifically with the 5Ghz band. Meaning the service is almost unusable on some devices. Isn’t that an issue?
-
Danté Banks (@Dante_Banks) reported from Tottenham, England@BibiLynch @plusnethelp We all know Virgin have **** customer service, but Plusnet run them a very close second. Recently two friends (you make three) have been totally ****** over by them.

-
247 London Locksmith (@247LondonLocks) reported from Barnet, England@Plusnet Dear Plusnet, I’m moving my place and unfortunately I don’t have access to my old email which was used to register to your broadband service. I cannot get into my old email and therefore I cannot get user name and password to my plusnet accout. What is the solution?

Plusnet Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Shane (@ShaneOrlando129) reportedJust joined @Plusnet and starting to regret it already, considering cancelling before this poor service snowballs. Not gone live on the date it was suppose to, sending an engineer on a day when I am at work, which will fine me £65 if I am not there. Now on hold for over 30mins
-
Nico (@ironicallyindie) reported@Plusnet Hi, I need some help please, I’m not sure if an engineer is actually visiting today or not, could you help me please?
-
Andy Clark (@andyigclark) reported@Plusnet If an engineer did come out yesterday they haven't fixed the problem. Tomorrow will be one month since I first made you aware of this problem. It is unacceptable that it hasn't been fixed.
-
FPL Tommy (@TommyFpl) reported@Plusnet I've got a PAC, and on a 30 day rolling contract after my 12month one ended. If I move now, and use the PAC, do I still have to pay for the next 30 days notice period if I'm not using the service?
-
Bex @ Store Update LIVE ✨ (@RBIllustration) reportedWe've had no landline for a week and while I'm lucky our internet is still on, it's unreliable and has dropped out MANY times. We're with Plusnet, but it's a BT line, so they need to wait for BT to fix it and we don't have a date for that yet. So all around it's frustrating 💀
-
Paul Rennie (@therenster) reported@Plusnet Easy tip - steer clear of plusnet. I paid 2 months for broadband, never got to use it then plusnet cancelled my account and won’t say why nor will give me my money back - joke of a company
-
Tommy KING (@GrizzyKing) reported@Plusnet Hi, ive ordered my broadband 2 weeks ago. I received a message saying its delayed before its due date. Received the same message thrice and for some reason i cant get through to the customer service to ask about my recent order and the delay.
-
Warren G (@WarrenG1967) reported@Champs707007 @virginmedia Under OFCOM rules you're entitled to compensation. I had no Internet service from plusnet for 16 days, I was entitled to ~£8.69 per day, which is just under £140. I got my service restored and it's back at an average of 57Mbps so not bad at all.
-
Claire Oatley (@mistymaria) reported. @plusnet Interested that when I just called BT to cancel my broadband to switch to you, they said you are part of the BT Group and then tried to get me to stay with them by implying they are the British Airways of the Group and you are RyanAir! How rude!
-
Chris Scaryman 🇺🇦 (@ChrisTheDJ) reportedI have been a huge Plusnet advocate over the years. Something has happened to them in the last 6 months and frankly, I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. Beware - I'm now stuck in contract with these muppets. Don't make the same mistake.
