So @SkyUK finally just replied to me on Messenger. Then said that as I’ve been with them for over 10 days I’ll need an engineer. Except I only had the service installed on Friday, not 10 days ago. Such poor service. So @SkyUK cancelled and over to @VodafoneUK instead now.

Started a chat on Facebook Messenger with @SkyUK regarding my broadband issues at 9:04am. Since then I’ve been passed to 4 agents, none of which have actually spoken to me and have just passed me straight on to someone else. Supposedly it was a 20 min wait to speak to someone...

1.5 hours since starting a chat with @SkyUK support via Facebook Messenger and I’m still being passed to agents. Nobody has spoken to me yet. Time to cancel the service, this is poor.

@SkyHelpTeam I’ve already tried calling, you have a message saying you’re very busy and that means sitting on a phone queue. Nobody actually seems to be available to help at all. Really disappointing from a company the size of @SkyUK that it’s so difficult to actually speak and get help.

@RichPierce0079 @virginmedia @SkyUK @VodafoneUK All different issues really. Virgin is its own thing. Sky could have been a line issue, Vodafone went live earlier today but despite saying it has an internet connection it doesn’t. Almost like they’ve not activated it on their end despite the app saying the line is active.

Interesting that @VodafoneUK say OpenReach confirms a higher minimum speed than @SkyUK are advising I will get as a minimum. On top of that, @VodafoneUK’s own guarantee is higher again too. Maybe I should’ve gone with @VodafoneUK instead. Might cancel @SkyUK not even a week in.

@SkyHelpTeam I’m on Facebook Messenger and three times I appear to have been passed around to another agent, three time’s being asked to provide my name and info. Then get told someone will be with me. This is really poor customer service. Come back @virginmedia, all is forgiven.

Moved from @virginmedia to @SkyUK but phone number hasn’t moved. @virginmedia say it’s possible to still port it and the response from @SkyUK - we don’t know how to do that, hang up and try to speak to someone else after 3 hours on the phone 🤬🤬🤬

So, at the end of my @virginmedia contract, question is, stick or twist, cost is going up and I do wonder what @SkyUK @SkyHelpTeam could offer as a returning customer, we shall see!

Yet again, more issues with sky internet. Paying for fibre optic broadband and can’t even stream a film without it looking like it was filmed on a potato. @SkyHelpTeam this really is unacceptable! Never had any issues with previous suppliers 🙄

@SkyHelpTeam Yep done that, your help team need a bit of training by the sound of it though. Customer service wasn’t exactly your call operator’s strong point I feel. And now we have to pay for a weekend slot (as we both work full time) for an engineer to fix an issue that isn’t our fault 🙄

@SkyHelpTeam Will do, it just keeps cutting out randomly and has been doing it for the past few weeks. No idea as to the cause, and it's usually only for a few minutes, but it's random. More often happens during the night. It also has issues where certain devices/programs reconnect quicker.
