So @SkyUK finally just replied to me on Messenger. Then said that as I’ve been with them for over 10 days I’ll need an engineer. Except I only had the service installed on Friday, not 10 days ago. Such poor service. So @SkyUK cancelled and over to @VodafoneUK instead now.

Started a chat on Facebook Messenger with @SkyUK regarding my broadband issues at 9:04am. Since then I’ve been passed to 4 agents, none of which have actually spoken to me and have just passed me straight on to someone else. Supposedly it was a 20 min wait to speak to someone...

@SkyHelpTeam I’m on Facebook Messenger and three times I appear to have been passed around to another agent, three time’s being asked to provide my name and info. Then get told someone will be with me. This is really poor customer service. Come back @virginmedia, all is forgiven.

@SkyHelpTeam @SkyUK @Ofcom I only get told to speak to someone after 10 days has passed, which is starting to feel like a delaying tactic to be honest. I’ve tried calling and you’re very busy with calls, I haven’t got time to sit in a hold queue. My service isn’t even a week old, I should need to call.

@SkyHelpTeam I’ve already tried calling, you have a message saying you’re very busy and that means sitting on a phone queue. Nobody actually seems to be available to help at all. Really disappointing from a company the size of @SkyUK that it’s so difficult to actually speak and get help.

Interesting that @VodafoneUK say OpenReach confirms a higher minimum speed than @SkyUK are advising I will get as a minimum. On top of that, @VodafoneUK’s own guarantee is higher again too. Maybe I should’ve gone with @VodafoneUK instead. Might cancel @SkyUK not even a week in.

@RichPierce0079 @virginmedia @SkyUK @VodafoneUK All different issues really. Virgin is its own thing. Sky could have been a line issue, Vodafone went live earlier today but despite saying it has an internet connection it doesn’t. Almost like they’ve not activated it on their end despite the app saying the line is active.

@SkyHelpTeam Exactly ... So just what it shows me on the app. It also states I should have received confirmation of the visit a day prior. I have not. So, while I can *assume* there will be an engineer coming, I (or Sky) cannot guarantee that, despite it being arranged. That's my issue. Nvm

@SkyHelpTeam Hi Emma, I checked the battery compartment and all the paper has been removed, I've also tried using another set of new batteries and get the same issue. If it is possible to be sent a replacement remote that would be much appreciated as enjoy watching TV in the dark 😎

I'm registered with the Mail Preference Service (MPS), and the likes of @bt_uk and @SkyUK STILL send me marketing material. I wouldn't mind, but I'm not a customer of either of these companies. I had to contact BT twice, and now I've got to contact Sky via phone to sort this out.

@SkyHelpTeam All that was done and I kept getting the message back that there was problem with my hub. No, it’s not the hub it’s the Optic box that isn’t getting the sign thus a network fault. I spoke to someone who can’t confirm if there is a local outage.
