A nice surprise, @TalkTalk answered the phone straight away and resolved a contract boost issue on the spot. Agreed not to increase my boost by £2.50 for the remainder of the contract.

@TalkTalk I’m paying for a broadband service that doesn’t work. I call and I sit on hold. I get referred to the text service and nothing happens. I speak to an operator who can’t fix the problem now because the accounts are down. This is by far the worst customer service ever!

@TalkTalk I still cannot see us how to DM you as I’m not au fait with Twitter! But we have seriously had a gut full of this service, it seems you do a little speed test for that very short period it seems fine and then nothing, not even courtesy calls to check if it’s working.

Great work @TalkTalk not! I checked if my router would work with Fibre 35 but surprise surprise no! Then kept in a queue to speak to someone for 25 mins before being told you are now closed and cut off. Very poor service!

@yourolly Then, some ISPs own their own core networks between exchanges (TalkTalk do this), others piggyback on Openreach’s. Virgin own their own Docsis cable network (bought off NTL, which was Telewest, which also bought the infra off Cable and Wireless)
