Also @virginmedia need to remind their call centre staff that customers are not idiots; the guy I was talking to had no idea why the link wasnt working so asdvised me to "Try again after 5, if its still not working call back" wonder if he managed clock out bang on 5?

With the intro of new dedicated Gigabit lines in my street I can't wait to switch over and leave Virgin Media for good. 3x internet has gone down this week and I just called VM. The systems there are down and gotta call back in 3hrs..... useless

@Defencebrief @virginmedia I, too, am a previous virgin media customer. They put the price up ridiculously. When I asked to renew the contract at the price advertised online, they refused. So I left. At which point I was bombarded with offers. Not a good way of treating customer or doing business.

@Johnmhunt @virginmedia Hi John. Had same issue as you. I disabled WiFi on my iPhone, sync’d email using gsm 4G mobile signal. It worked for first time without IMAP error. Then re-enabled WiFi. Email still working. Happy Christmas!
