@virginmedia I managed to fix it..I took the cable out of the splitter straight into the back of the hub. I will need a new splitter as the signal into my place is too strong. Have booked an engineer but at least I have broadband now

@virginmedia sure.. allow people to cancel their contract in the same manor as they started it (online) and don't stop people canceling because they owe a month, and stop charging them after you suspend service .. that should cover it .. thanks ..
