-
FlippedAcademic (@Rob_Garvey) reported from Bromley, England
A question for @virginmedia Is it more important for an engineer to a) resolve a customer's service problem b) get to next appointment because the engineer is measured on appointments attended rather fixed? You have one unhappy customer #poorcustomerservice
-
FlippedAcademic (@Rob_Garvey) reported from Bromley, England
@virginmedia So you can't help me either! What's the point! Another @virginmedia #fail

@virginmedia Over a week to fix it seems ridiculous
-
Del 🌈 (@derrickca) reported from Croydon, England
@virginmedia There are no issues in my area supposedly. So why I’m I told that there are issues when I call. Nobody else around has a problem. My account says everything is working. Who’s telling the truth? Feeling very vulnerable here
-
Del 🌈 (@derrickca) reported from Croydon, England
@virginmedia We can’t go for a week without this. Disabled person heavily reliant. Home security compromised. Not acceptable. Nobody else has the problem. This complaint is going to escalate
-
Del 🌈 (@derrickca) reported from Croydon, England
@virginmedia I’ve hammered my mobile data since the internet has been down it’s costing me a fortune. I’m not even sure that the site will benefit me.
-
Maria Marchant, MBACP (@lovetosleepy) reported from Bromley, England
@virginmedia Internet is down in BR76HH. Engineer allegedly coming Fri as it’s only one house at fault. Now a neighbour is saying that there’s outage in the whole area & 30 June is meant to be the day we get our internet back. Any advice on which VM advice to believe, please?

Gary Brian Smith (@MrGarySmith) reported from Dartford, England
@virginmedia Furthermore I’ll not be renewing my @O2 contract when they merge with Virgin bad enough with on #showerofshit can’t be dealing with it on my mobile as well.
-
Del 🌈 (@derrickca) reported from Croydon, England
Now going to look at changing to Sky. Absolutely unacceptable delay by @virginmedia for a week. Trying to work from home. Definitely time to go. We pay a lot of money for a service that we’re not receiving. Don’t use them
-
Louise Hatch 🦋 (@LouiseHatch1) reported from London, England

-
Kate Crisp (@kec1964) reported from Grays, England
@virginmedia hi I have 2 WiFi boosters that I’ve never used and would like to return them but can’t face hanging on for hours to speak to someone on your helpline. Is there an address you can give me?
-
Gary Brian Smith (@MrGarySmith) reported from Dartford, England
@virginmedia YOU USELESS #***** two years of problems, of no shows after no show, today was to be the day it was all sorted yet you manage to ***** up a simple install job. You confirmed to me what was to be installed yet the engineer wasn’t told! #fuckwits
-
Gary Brian Smith (@MrGarySmith) reported from Dartford, England
Beware anyone thinking of joining @O2 they’ve just hiked up their rates and limited free data total usage when in Europe #ripoff also just merged with @virginmedia so expect the service to fall of a cliff when the call centres are rerouted to virgins Singapore call centres
-
FlippedAcademic (@Rob_Garvey) reported from Bromley, England
@virginmedia I moaned on Wednesday about #poorcustomerservice from @virginmedia, so it's only fair to praise when they #Getitright. Friendly Chavez was awesome, fixing the problem through competency and with a smile; the result a #happycustomer cc @marketingjulia

Gary Brian Smith (@MrGarySmith) reported from Dartford, England
@virginmedia @VirginVoyages Beware they Virgin operate and tell you one thing when you call customer services you may end up on on a 2 week cruise on the Woolwich ferry
-
Gary Brian Smith (@MrGarySmith) reported from London, England
@virginmedia You keep sending me emails and texts confirming what we agreed which are wrong…still how many times can you get this wrong… for a communications company you sure are bad at it!
-
Gav Mac (@Gavarnos) reported from Croydon, England
@PaulbernalUK @virginmedia I had multiple dramas with mine last year/18 months while they were doing the network upgrades, having to resort to 4G. Annoying. Once all the pain is done & you get gigabit broadband using your own router/mesh system & the superhub as just a modem it’s staggeringly good.
-
Gary Brian Smith (@MrGarySmith) reported from London, England
@virginmedia We agreed after 2 years of slow service you’d upgrade my 2 TiVo boxes to V6 and bring 3 pods to cover dead zones agreed in Nov last year and after 3 missed appointments and you calling me 3 days to confirm the work to do & you still **** it up. #fuckwits
-
Santero, human ambassador to ducks (@djsantero) reported from Camberwell, England
@arunsbasra @virginmedia Fuuuuuuck, that's terrible. I just signed up for Virgin yesterday too... 😬
Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Andy Cave (@Andycave) reported
@virginmedia It’s not 3rd party equipment but mere connecting information needed to make an email address work on a desktop. Configuring it used to come as part of the (pricey) monthly subscription and it still should. I have paid £60 for something that took one minute to fix. #heldtoransom
-
samuel (@swebbb_) reported
@virginmedia surely you know by now if there’s an outage or something in the Lincoln area it’s been like 40 minutes lmao
-
Andy Cave (@Andycave) reported
So .@virginmedia now charges for any technical support that involves its services connecting with something else. Which is a bit like a car’s manufacturer charging you to use it on roads.
-
Arunkumar Sethuraman (@arunsethu) reported
@virginmedia Do you think it’s so easy to get hold of your CS team? On the phone for the last 30 min waiting to talk to your tech team. Same issue has come back today right in the middle of my work day. Check the speed test results below in the last few min. It’s very temperamental.
-
nonaka shana protection (@seungjjeong) reported

@virginmedia I am having router problems. It had been working with both 2.4GHz/5GHz enabled. Today it only works with 5GHz disabled. All devices fail. Router has been restarted. Last week I had to change my Virgin password. So what do I now have to do? I am getting fed up Virgin
-
Hauntedhistories (@PGMorg) reported
@virginmedia I have been a customer for years, and I have not been able to access my email for over 10 hours now...there is zero help on your website
-
Andy Cave (@Andycave) reported
@virginmedia If this is how you gouge customers when they have a tiny little issue, don’t be surprised if they don’t stick around.
-
Clive Cliffords (@cliff_cliffords) reported
@virginmedia What’s going on with the Blueyonder email @virginmedia? Why can’t we access emails and when are you likely to fix it? This problem started 3 days ago!!!
-
Richard Clark (@richardcclark) reported from Nottinghamshire, England
@virginmedia I’m sorry to say your customer service is bar none, the worst experience I’ve ever had the misfortune to deal with. A missed appointment scheduled by you, I’m on the phone for over 3 hrs and you have no ownership of the issue, just pass me from pillar to post. #fail
