@virginmedia I tried all that, the bloke on the phone told me an engineer would be the only one who could fix it, surprisingly it started working after a few hours, don’t have much confidence in your tool or your help desk! Neither seems to know what they are doing!

  • jackbremer Jack Bremer ⚡️ (@jackbremer) reported from Wandsworth, England

@virginmedia I think it’s pretty poor that your routers don’t allow us to change DNS servers - I’d like to use some family filtering (Cloudflare/Cleanbrowsing etc) and have to do it per device instead. The kids will figure out how to change that in no time!

  • BhavaniVadde Bhavani Vadde (@BhavaniVadde) reported from Wandsworth, England

@virginmedia It has been ONE & HALF MONTHS trying to sort an issue. U r still billing me even tho I’ve given notice. Deadline passed for deadlock letter over my formal complaint. I have every sympathy re the Covid situation but this is the TERRIBLE customer service despite that

  • Leeirons Lee (@Leeirons) reported from Walthamstow, England

  • teresawhitfield Teresa Whitfield (@teresawhitfield) reported from Croydon, England

@virginmedia Not now that we have invested in a £300 mesh WiFi system so we can get WiFi across the house as the router is pointless. And apparently the issue is with the infrastructure in the Sotih Croydon area so intermittent broadband is to be expected 🙄

  • basel_mahmood Basel Mahmood (@basel_mahmood) reported from Merton, England

Let me guess. @virginmedia is down again.

  • iamscorchy iamscorchy (@iamscorchy) reported

@virginmedia its crazy how bad virgin media has been the last couple of weeks having nothing but connection issues how am i meant to get anything done!

  • ollieread ollieread (@ollieread) reported

@vmbusinesshelp @vmbusiness Turns out, the email was an automated mistake. Though I now need one, because there's no vm access point on the property, something your staff refused to believe me about. This has been an utterly terrible experience, and I will now have no connection to work with.

  • Carolyna_S Carolyna (@Carolyna_S) reported

@virginmedia I have just got off the phone and was advised to keep my WiFi switched off my smart TV as a solution to the connection issues. I just had my connection drop three times In a 30min zoom call this morning, I had two engineers out I’ve had a new modem and nothing has fixed it

  • TogaTheGreat TogaTheGreat (@TogaTheGreat) reported

@virginmedia It was dead. Both wired and WiFi. Happily, was only out about half an hour. Checking various sites that people report these things, seems was a problem for a good few. But still happens too often

  • AnthonyLyrics Be Great. (@AnthonyLyrics) reported

@virginmedia How will I know ‘if’ the criteria hits and when will I be compensated? Because I’m expecting a swift resolution to this after all this stress and disruption

  • daft_titch Steven Scott (@daft_titch) reported

@virginmedia The account hasn’t been paid since April. This makes no sense. Apparently £141.99 is overdue. The monthly cost of this service is £74. If payments hadn’t been made since April then surely more than 141.99 would be due.

  • Jayster209 Jamie Davies (@Jayster209) reported

@virginmedia No one in my area is having similar issues to me. Both times it's only been affecting my address.

  • TellBroJoe Joe Eccleston (@TellBroJoe) reported

.@virginmedia FIFTH day of intermittent TV and broadband signal and now your call centre has just put the phone down on me whilst in a queue for 30 mins! AWFUL!!!

  • RoseyMacdoo Rosey MacDoo (@RoseyMacdoo) reported

@virginmedia Yes there was a screenshot in the tweet that followed. This happened 9 days ago too but that time I was able to register the loss of service on my account online so that automatic compensation could be applied automatically if applicable. That facility seems to have gone/moved?

  • DominicDarko17 DominicDarko (@DominicDarko17) reported

@RomanShortall I've never had one, I refuse to get one. I don't use cable tv, my contract is with virgin Media, Netflix etc, RTE should be pay per view, or it shut down
