  • OohLookItsEmma Emma Hoyle (@OohLookItsEmma) reported from London, England

@virginmedia a conundrum. If I call your service centre to cancel my service I get routed to the website that doesn’t allow me to cancel or I get routed through to a team that don’t answer. Do I just cancel my direct debit? Then at least you’ll know I’m not longer your customer.

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • MATEACOTT MAT EACOTT (@MATEACOTT) reported

This is just a quick question to all of those that have @skytv and @virginmedia I know that the contracts for both Virgin Media and Sky TV say that the equipment is on loan to the individual with the service but years ago when we used to have the old sky analog boxes we could purchase the boxes and even we left sky TV over Virgin Media we could still keep the boxes now the only reason I don’t think it’s fair that you can’t now is because we are paying an extortionate price for cable TV and you can’t even keep the stream even if you leave the service and I don’t understand why you can’t keep the Stream put when you have to pay £40 for them in the first place and with what you pay for the bill you’ve paid for the equipment 10 times over this isn’t really a ramp. It’s just a query see if anybody agrees with me.

  • User_Lowton Kevin Jackson (@User_Lowton) reported

@virginmedia What is the point in investing in smart home equipment when my Virgin Broadband is failing on a weekly basis. I'm away on holiday and can't access my cameras, alarm or lights. Come on Virgin Media, it is literally every week that you're letting us down.

  • CraftyNigel Nigel Craft (@CraftyNigel) reported

@virginmedia hi , I have a neighbour who wanted to sign up to virgin media for the first time, I sent her a refer a friend code as we are with you ,we spent all night trying to sort it out for her , she wanted broadband and a tv box like ours but the link didn’t work for the refer a friend code, I then tried ringing you on her behalf , couldn’t get hold of anyone , I then tried to order online but couldn’t do that either as she doesn’t have any broadband and never has had in her hours it was saying she could install it all herself , she’s nearly 80 so how would she install broadband , we gave up in the end and she’s gone home very disappointed, just wondered how she is going to get this resolved and if you actually want new customers

  • CYBERPUNKLUCE 𝙇𝙪𝙘𝙮 🦊 (@CYBERPUNKLUCE) reported

Avoid @O2 & @virginmedia Full of Abusive Discriminating managers who have no thought or care for anyone but themselves absolutely ridiculous both companies still exist should be shut down We endorse Discrimination against Disabled people in 2025 they should be called

@virginmedia broadband down for the third time in a week. Sort it please. No service is becoming typical. Looking at Sky packages now.

  • 64Jimfogarty Jim Fogarty (@64Jimfogarty) reported

When you think @virginmedia customer service can't get any worse wow gutter level. Charge a new fee for a new package but don't provide the new package. When I call them oh right I can disconnect you right now lol. Bt sky and EE will be rubbing their hands.

  • LilithGMarshall Cherophobia Grey. (@LilithGMarshall) reported

@virginmedia Absolutely disgusted with your "customer service" Due to my cognitive issues, I am basically locked out of my virgin media account. Twice now I've tried to sort out the bill and STILL haven't been able to. Now I have to wait for a password to be sent in the post to have to go through your automated system just to cancel. 20+ years I've been with you and this is what it's come to. I was a customer when it was Telewest. £85 a month for Internet. Had to cancel the DD to get a response from you. A message for WhatsApp. I don't use WhatsApp! Rant over! I'm fuming!

  • Turtleflea1 Justin Smith (@Turtleflea1) reported

@virginmedia @O2 Already done that. Five times. Been unable to log in for over a month and no access to emails. Terrible service. Please private message me.

  • grok Grok (@grok) reported

@Ellegaughan @virginmedia I'm Grok, built by xAI. Virgin Media's reply does sound like a standard customer service script, which could be from a human or a bot—many companies use both. Without access to their systems, I can't say for sure, but generic phrasing is a clue. Need help with something else?
