@virginmedia I think you will have to agree this is an unacceptably long time for the repair as it’s already been going on for days?? “There's a TV issue in xxx. Thanks for your patience while we work to fix things as quick as we can. We hope to fix this by 14 March at 16:00”

  • kevinri00714924
kevin richardson (@kevinri00714924) reported from Poplar, England

@virginmedia So someone fraudulently set up an account in my name. Because I don’t know the password to something I didn’t set up I’ve now spent 5 hours on the phone to 5 different @virginmedia reps and a debt recovery letter. Never use @virginmedia #badcustomerservice #stress

@virginmedia Guys it seems to me @virginmedia is the only one that has problems? My neighbour who uses “talk talk” has never ever had a problem.. I am tired of @virginmedia excuses and I will leave, had enough of it thou..

  • hillmandan
Daniel Hillman (@hillmandan) reported from Bromley, England

@virginmedia No and no . No idea , I’m just the customer . Just want someone to ring me with exactly what is going on . Why can’t this happen ? Your service is laughable now . Am expecting a TV crew to turn up in a minute saying it was a big wind up

  • blue_murdock

  • Ashley_Rhysss
#AshTag (@Ashley_Rhysss) reported from Southwark, England

The service from @virginmedia is utterly dreadful. Had Wi-Fi issues so they sent someone out to rectify. Worked for 2 days then the same issues started again. Not had working Wi-Fi for the last 3 weeks. If your thinking of going with them for tv / internet, go with someone else.

  • AdamJT99
Adam Thomas (@AdamJT99) reported from Bromley, England

@virginmedia Yes. But that didnt stop you charging me for a full month even though i didn't have service for a full month. Your customer service is appalling, I've complained for years and you make no change or comoensation. You don't care one iota for your customers.

  • edshots
the world's most copied Edward Moore (@edshots) reported from Bromley, England

@virginmedia The next slot was 28th April which I would not be in and so have taken 5th May. A loyal customer of about 12 years this a complete let down after arranging today from a previous cancellation on your company's part.

  • bethcanadian
Beth (@bethcanadian) reported from Lambeth, England

  • joshuamasters_

@virginmedia hub still down in SW8 region. Box and hub are on. Ran tests everything fine. Can see WiFi to connect to, but not devices can connect. This started after last nights midnight update it seems.

  • gorgeousuk

@virginmedia I did and it said the service was ok. It’s now working after several times of going onto Amazon. I just don’t know why the service has become so poor recently

  • Katie3boys
Katie Haisman (@Katie3boys) reported from Eltham, England

@virginmedia shocking service with the internet

  • declan1968
Declan Higgins ☘ (@declan1968) reported from Southwark, England

@virginmedia What does an area outage mean? I pay Virgin about £150 a month for services. This is over the odds but I thought I was getting a reliable service and so went with it.

  • pauldewolfe
    paul d (@pauldewolfe) reported

@virginmedia Really disappointed. Called to renew my contract but couldn’t get a good enough deal, so wanted to cancel. They couldn’t process it and told me to call back. I did, gave my name, email, ph number, bank details and last payment, but they still couldn’t pass security.

  • ScouseBouncy
Scouse House Bouncy Music (@ScouseBouncy) reported

@virginmedia This issue has been around for over 2 weeks, your CS staff are telling customers including staff members there is no issue and "just swap out to the stream boxes" which does not fix the problem! Between Virgin and @skytv there should be a months bill reimbursed for each issue!!

  • Scrumpyjackfan
    Craig (@Scrumpyjackfan) reported

After 25 years with @virginmedia it’s time to say 👋. Relocating your customer services to SE Asia a few years back was a stupid move, I have wasted hours waiting and talking to your reps. Even now I must do the leg work to find a better deal. You should be phoning me to keep me.

  • PeteNCFC1862
    Pete (@PeteNCFC1862) reported

@Lindstar24 Look up Databank, all the big 3 do it , goes back to 2021 when Virgin Media O2 initiated it via the Good Things Foundation, but Vodaphone , 3 , also via community hubs , food banks , charities. EE BT do similar to help data poverty .

  • blessdavo
    David Nolan (@blessdavo) reported

@virginmedia Intermittent signal. As it was earlier this morning. It says you're looking into it!

  • stephenm68
    Stephen Maddock (@stephenm68) reported

@virginmedia @virginmedia I have just DM’d you again because I have just had another three texts from you saying that the issue will now not be fixed until 18 August. Despite the fact that an hour earlier you told me it would be fixed by 4 pm today. This will take us today 23 of zero Internet

  • paperpussies

@fatima_gunning how is virgin media giving time to these half cast coloured pricks, this is IRELAND, **** them and their views, who fuking cares what they say

  • AdrianOso7
    Adrian Oso (@AdrianOso7) reported

@virginmedia I've sent private messages and they just ask me to call VM and get an engineer in. The engineer's conclusion seems to be that it's not worth the effort to extend the network by 10 metres, via a footpath which I own. And that's bang in the centre of a village right outside London.
