@virginmedia Just tried that. Endless waiting and ended up exactly where I started. Just can’t speak to a human and explain my specific issue.

@HavocTechie @virginmedia Thanks. Router has been rebooted and factory reset. I installed a wired Lan in lockdown 1 to solve poor wifi but unplugging that switch and going straight into the router doesn’t work either. Now no service at all. 😩Again.

Clearly the 06:05 ETA for a fix is an arbitrary generic number, as on the 1st March when it went down, the fix ETA was 06:05 too. @virginmedia

@virginmedia wifi down in Brixton (SW2). It says you’re not getting it fixed until tomorrow?! Any chance it will be done sooner than this? It’s a pretty vital resource for many of us right now!

@virginmedia hi team, after the latest router update, none of the devices in the house can hold a consistent signal, constantly getting full signal with an exclamation (!) - any ideas on what's going on?

I understand it takes time to replace fibre optics. I don‘t understand why @virginmedia sends out messages that are plain wrong. My connection is not working, has not been working ever since Tuesday evening. Is this to avoid having to pay back customers?

. @virginmedia you need an honest statement about the situation in South London now. For lonely elderly people to lose TV for 2 DAYS is isolating & cruel when it’s possibly the only company they have. Do better. Communicate. Be honest. Get a resolution. #virginmedia #London

I’ve had awful internet speeds for a couple of weeks from @virginmedia . (<10MB on a 200MB plan) Their call centre has said this is due to an upgrade that will take a week to complete. Which ISP do I move to?

@virginmedia I have been “on hold” since 1851 for a customer service agent. This is kinda cementing my view of needing to leave.

@virginmedia My partner - a current Virgin customer - just got *HUNG UP ON* by one of the rudest customer services advisors I’ve ever heard in my entire life. Abhorrent customer service. Absolutely shocking.

@niamhskinner @virginmedia Unfortunately it’s still out in SW2 for me. The time they are suggesting a fix keeps getting later and later. I have no idea how big of an issue it is, but it’s taking a rather long time to repair!

@virginmedia without a doubt the worst company I've dealt with. But they have a great person in Stefano, an engineer in the SW4 area. He has actually gone above and beyond to provide some customer service. I hope Virgin notice this, but they probably won't.

@virginmedia on 12/1 a supervisor would have to authorise an engineer call out. The person on Tuesday told me I need a booster but nothing in the house has changed in the last 6 months and it never used to be as bad as this. You can’t diagnose these issues without seeing the property

iain roberton

@virginmedia No. I’ve done that so many times and restarted and reset countless more, and been more than patient waiting for a fix that I’m told will come then doesn’t. The problem clearly remains and it is provider-side. As you know. It’s been over a month.

@virginmedia This week I received an update to Vodafone. This was disastrous as my signal strength dropped by half & made my data unusable. 'Customer Service' could not understand this it & refused to terminate the contact without a large fee. Come on Virgin, do the right thing!

@virginmedia useless useless useless customer service. By far the worst company and appalling standards. @Ofcom should be investigating every single day. Formal@complaints process required given the people on the last 2 calls are incapable of understanding #beyondfurious

@virginmedia it's been three weeks of terrible service in E4, and your tech team when they can actually be reached aren't giving much help, just read off the usual script. WTF is going on to rectify the SNR issues which are apparently area-wide?

@virginmedia thanks for ignoring me, and making your customer service impossible to speak to. Two days incredibly slow and patchy broadband and can't speak to anyone.

@virginmedia But I had been about it going up £5 from £85.50 on 1/3/21 which prompted my call on 21st. Now it’s going up because of my call yesterday as I’ve a second box which I’ve had the entire time. I get stuff goes up but don’t treat customers like this and don’t lie #plentymoreproviders
