Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Lewisham and nearby locations:

  • JacobWSmith10 Jacob Smith (@JacobWSmith10) reported from Camden, England

@virginmedia @skytv can you please sort out the sky sports app. I cannot login in using my virgin media account. It will not load the password page. I don’t really see why it logs me out periodically in the first place.

  • declan1968 Declan Higgins ☘ (@declan1968) reported from Southwark, England

@virginmedia What does an area outage mean? I pay Virgin about £150 a month for services. This is over the odds but I thought I was getting a reliable service and so went with it.

  • declan1968 Declan Higgins ☘ (@declan1968) reported from Southwark, England

@virginmedia Oh yeah. Nothing that explains why it keeps happening though. Fix dates are usually meaningless. Feels like we're being rationed.

  • Ashley_Rhysss #AshTag (@Ashley_Rhysss) reported from Southwark, England

The service from @virginmedia is utterly dreadful. Had Wi-Fi issues so they sent someone out to rectify. Worked for 2 days then the same issues started again. Not had working Wi-Fi for the last 3 weeks. If your thinking of going with them for tv / internet, go with someone else.

  • DerrickSWB Derrick Brown (@DerrickSWB) reported from Lower Clapton, England

@virginmedia Can someone advise how I fix the Wi-Fi pod which isn’t working with my new router - I had to upgrade at extra cost to receive new kit as the lead time was shorter than getting a competitor in #ThisIsWrong

  • leighbooker Leigh Booker 🐈‍⬛ 3.5% #FBPE #FBPPR #GTTO (@leighbooker) reported from Welling, England

@virginmedia It has just come back on. The annoying thing is your website said no problems, so I went through the usual, unplugging, checking cables etc. only for the website to be updated later. I should have learned by now.

  • DJMRT DJ MRT (@DJMRT) reported from Sutton, England

It would appear that despite 3 emails to @virginmedia regarding their lack of service, their rubbish broadband and the fact my TV hasn’t worked since November - they have instead chosen to engage debt collectors for a £141.54 (for ONE MONTH) bill. See you in court then I guess.

  • BancoDePapa グラハム・スミス® ©Official (@BancoDePapa) reported from London, England

@TfL why is the 4G signal on the Central line underground only around the posh area's of Notting Hill Gate, Queensway and Holland Park? Since @virginmedia stopped their WiFi in April it's annoying that a major metropolis like London has no internet connections on a lot of lines

  • drawing_daily Steven Kraan 🐀 (@drawing_daily) reported from Islington, England

@virginmedia internet down second day in a row, when will it work again?

  • safctinders Tinders (@safctinders) reported from Worcester Park, England

@virginmedia Abysmal service. Pay a premium for this stuff and nothing but aggro; TV freezes, ages to boot up… been sat here 20 minutes and still “starting up”. **** show.

  • WilsonJevelyn Dr Jan Evelyn-Wilson (@WilsonJevelyn) reported from London, England

@VirginMedia wi-fi just cut out AGAIN! Annoying when one is in the middle of something. WHY!

  • _Lewis_A Lewis Allen ⚒ (@_Lewis_A) reported from London, England

@ameehan71 @virginmedia All new and reconnected. 200mb then next day nothing, comes on for a day then drops to 10mb. Talk to customer service and they don't have a clue. They also want over £400 for me to leave. Worst service I've ever known

  • ameehan71 Alex (@ameehan71) reported from Bromley, England

@_Lewis_A @virginmedia I had this problem and was advised to buy new cables, did that and it gets minimum 200mb now, also make sure all cables are really tight and fitted properly.

  • _Lewis_A Lewis Allen ⚒ (@_Lewis_A) reported from London, England

So @virginmedia won't let me leave our contract despite their service continually crashing or not providing the speed it promises. Ultrafast broadband but getting nothing or 9mb download. Fed up with it now. Avoid them at all costs. #VirginMediaoutage #broadband

  • DerrickSWB Derrick Brown (@DerrickSWB) reported from Lower Clapton, England

@virginmedia It’s arranged (3rd time) for engineer visit tomorrow 4-7pm…. I just hope they don’t randomly cancel again

  • DerrickSWB Derrick Brown (@DerrickSWB) reported from Lower Clapton, England

@virginmedia Green up/down arrow flashing and router restarting

@virginmedia The uplink is failing and it’s being denied access to the network as it’s poking and failing

  • BancoDePapa グラハム・スミス® ©Official (@BancoDePapa) reported from Haringey, England

@virginmedia can I have the customer service number to cancel my broadband.... There are seemingly better deals out there for faster services

  • MitchM77 Mitch Manning 💜💙🦁🇺🇦 (@MitchM77) reported from Worcester Park, England

@neilpr85 @virginmedia Yes, this! Oh and now O2 have told me I might lose signal over 24hrs as they’re doing some works. So no mobile data for me either! I feel like I’ve jumped in a time machine and have gone back to 1990!! 😫

  • shah4569 Shah 🦅 (@shah4569) reported from London, England

@virginmedia All these problems. But still fleecing money from us.

  • womaninblue1050 Marilyn (@womaninblue1050) reported

@Laura_Marti75 @virginmedia I feel exactly the same Laura. “Some customers are currently having trouble linking their Virgin Media accounts to their Virgin Media O2 ID, even with matching email addresses. This is due to a technical issue affecting parts of our system, and we're actively working on a fix”.

  • womaninblue1050 Marilyn (@womaninblue1050) reported

@virginmedia This is the issue. “We found your Virgin Media account but we can’t link it to your Virgin Media O2 ID right now”. I rang your call centre who say that they can’t help as this issue is ongoing for everyone. Is this true? And if so, why aren’t you highlighting this?

@virginmedia This is unacceptable I work from home and I am being informed that my broadband will not be fixed till 5pm within 2 weeks of install , in the time I was with @TalkTalk nearly 8yrs, the service hardly ever left me an entire day without any access to the internet.
