Virgin Media Issues Reports Near Burtonwood, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Burtonwood and nearby locations:

  • mrmrjarrold Matthew Jarrold (@mrmrjarrold) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia The main thing here is that not one person who I have come into contact with in your organisation wants to take ownership of the problem and try and resolve it which is the essence of customer service. It’s a massive fail.

  • gilliblogs Gill Lysons (@gilliblogs) reported from Newton-le-Willows, England

@yicker @virginmedia Had the same thing when my Gran was poorly, trying to explain to HMRC why they couldn’t visit her for an assessment - eventually I had to say “look, she’s dying” Bloody awful . Hope you’re ok xxx

  • LukeFoster89 Lukefoster89 (@LukeFoster89) reported from Sandymoor, England

@virginmedia Hi, what's the best way to make a complaint? I've never experienced such incompetence from a call centre in my life. Please can some one review my calls over the last few weeks.

  • Toffeegirl13 Ann_1878 (@Toffeegirl13) reported from Halewood, England

@MachinegunSi @virginmedia Been ****** awful lately, sick of it. Think I'm gonna serve them

  • maffew85 Matt Duncan (@maffew85) reported from Warrington, England

Why do I even pay you so much money each month @virginmedia when your internet has gone down twice in two days. Shocking!!

  • BenjiMaccers Benji McLoughlin (@BenjiMaccers) reported from Haydock, England

@JolyonMaugham @virginmedia @SP_EnergyPeople ongoing complaint since March. They are actually extorting me.

  • Miss_Defying Rebecca Harrisson (@Miss_Defying) reported from Ormskirk, England

@virginmedia He said it '100% wasn't a porting issue' and that he would look into it but that wouldn't be the answer. Another lady called me later on a few times and asked me to call our land line on three separate occasions and she could call back to get the times. But haven't had a call yet

  • Joanneincrosby Joanne Johnson (@Joanneincrosby) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia tried to contact Virgin media for days! We had no internet for last Saturday, Sunday , Tuesday in the area . You call and it will not let you contact to anyone as it’s a complex problem in the area. Anyone know a better provider I’ve totally had enough.

  • RayWaring Ray Waring (@RayWaring) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia This takes me through to a help and support page - what do I do next?

  • Kiefer1667 Marc Lancaster (@Kiefer1667) reported from St Helens, England

@virginmedia how can we find out when you are transferring our mobile numbers to the vodafone network instead of ee?

  • Andy_Dunbar Andy Dunbar (@Andy_Dunbar) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia Is that minimum 12 months subscription or can I cancel at anytime?

  • Miss_Defying Rebecca Harrisson (@Miss_Defying) reported from Ormskirk, England

@VodafoneUK I'm not sure... as far as I can tell it's a @virginmedia issue. But you may be able to help. No one on Vodafone can call our virgin landline. It just beeps or says the number and code combination isn't recognised.

  • RayWaring Ray Waring (@RayWaring) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia It’s ok I’ve managed to get around my dad’s security question - it was an issue with the lower / upper case. I’ve updated his password and his email is now receiving emails on his phone and iPad - I think we’re ok. Frustrating that the live chat sent him around in circles

  • RayWaring Ray Waring (@RayWaring) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia my dad’s email address has been hacked. VM says he has to re register his email address. He’s spent nearly 3hrs on live chat today trying to fix it. He’s 86 and relies upon his email to order from home. Can you please explain to me the process to correct this issue?

  • Miss_Defying Rebecca Harrisson (@Miss_Defying) reported from Ormskirk, England

@virginmedia Hi!! Just letting you know my land line issue still isn't fixed. Someone is supposed to be calling me back today. I'm really hoping they do. Just wanted to say thanks to Robert too for being so helpful. Despite this still driving me mad.

  • RayWaring Ray Waring (@RayWaring) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia Also I’ve just tried and it won’t accept the answers to the security questions - which are both ok. Can someone contact me to help me out please?

  • Toffeegirl13 Ann_1878 (@Toffeegirl13) reported from Halewood, England

@MachinegunSi @virginmedia Yeah same here Si, never had any problems but the past 12 months or so been shite

  • RayWaring Ray Waring (@RayWaring) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia No nothing - no reference number. The inconsistency of service between live chat, phone and Twitter is mad. It doesn’t feel like you’re speaking to the same company

  • Miss_Defying Rebecca Harrisson (@Miss_Defying) reported from Ormskirk, England

@virginmedia But on the online forum it says others have had the same problem and your technical department need to contact Sky and the line needs to be routed to you again as it's a porting issue. I can't see any other examination although I appreciate I'm not a technician.

  • gbam86 Graeme Bamber (@gbam86) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia @gbam96 Yes it has been cancelled now, it was the manner it took to get there! Nearly 20 mins of asking to cancel! he had a bad attitude. Very disappointed with the customer service

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • MMmm45228284 MMmm (@MMmm45228284) reported

@virginmedia like myself rely heavily on broadband to access medical appointments and other health support. I’m actually wondering what you want me to write? Given @virginmedia scamming, rip off, contemptuous attitude towards customers. I’m actually wondering what you are expecting me to

  • Keelybeans Keely Johnson (@Keelybeans) reported

@virginmedia We have asked to escalate this complaint which was originally regarding an installation on the 27th October. It is now also regarding the poor customer service we have received, and are still recieving, whilst trying to resolve the complaint.

  • ObscurePaulie92 Paul (@ObscurePaulie92) reported

@virginmedia The service check now states that everything in my area is fine, but clearly it isn't fine. I've tried restarting the hub and the cables are connected fine.

  • LydianMatt LydianMatt (@LydianMatt) reported

@virginmedia It’s working again now but was down for hours last night really unhappy

  • Keelybeans Keely Johnson (@Keelybeans) reported

@virginmedia To be honest we are tired of going round in circles with this, we have already done a web chat and was told they couldn't resolve our complaint so it was passed to a manager, who did not call when was arranged. We had an email instead which we responded to and did not get a reply

  • JackWi34294939 Jack Williams Will Wish You a Happy New Year! (@JackWi34294939) reported

@toonsgowild Back when I used to have Virgin Media, the channel number for Cartoon Network was 704, the channel number for Nickelodeon was 712 and the channel number for Disney Channel was 724. Disney Channel and all the other Disney-related channels got shut down in 2020.

  • andyg81 Andy Golds (@andyg81) reported

@virginmedia No not showing issues but there clearly is have rebooted 4 times already

  • ObscurePaulie92 Paul (@ObscurePaulie92) reported

@virginmedia I've not tried a full reset, due to the setup I've got on my network I doesn't want to resort to that.... however its funny how now the Internet seems to have returned...

  • csoundar CHITRA SOUNDAR (@csoundar) reported

@carolinesgreen @virginmedia they are a pain! They make you talk to a million people about why you want to cancel, offer you a 100 different discounts and try to wear you down.

  • MaartenSleeckx MaartenX. (@MaartenSleeckx) reported

@virginmedia The fact the engineers keep coming back over and over again would suggest there is an issue they are unable to handle or repair. If you have been advised of an outage, by a consumer, who diligently explained the issue isn't new you should pay more attention to what he said. Me.
