Already replaced router twice. When gaming on PC with ethernet cable plug in and someone makes a WhatsApp call my ping spikes to 500ms!

pedro (@txoboypedro) reported@bt_uk, my router keeps flashing purple/pink and not connecting. I’m aware that it is something to do with the broadband cable however I’ve done everything from unplugging the cable and plugging it back on, and it doesn’t seem to work. Can you help?
