Poor service.

Dominic Kent 💻📱 📝 (@DomKent) reported from Saint Columb Major, England@sophb66 @bt_uk I didn’t know BT could take formal orders via twitter. I’d still suggest giving them a 📞 as they’ll likely need payment. I used to place these orders and it’s never been possible over Twitter.
-

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
jackbwater (@jackbwater) reported@mizmuggle @bt_uk Now router says "connected" (an improvement) but internet doesn't work 'cos the DNS IP address the router is getting is wrong. Can't even ping the DNS IP 81.139.56.100 No option to set DNS from BT Router! Changing DNS IP locally , to 8.8.8.8/4.4.4.4 and internet works.
-
andy grey (@andy_gray) reported@bt_uk I can’t resolve ‘online’ a phone fault. It’s for my blind 87 year old father who hasn’t got a mobile phone, internet or indeed at the moment a functioning land line. His phone is not the issue. How do I moved forward and actually speak to someone?
-
Gari MacColl (@JGMacColl) reported@bt_uk I just feel paying £50 a month more than a new customer, shows a serious lack of customer service, loyalty goes both ways.
-
James (Jim) Naismith (@JHNaismith) reportedUsually optimistic on technological progress so disappointed broadband speed being > halved to 67Mbps next month by @bt_uk. @virginmedia can’t fix their “blocked duct” at front door, not good advert for uk infrastructure, I live in Jericho, central Oxford, not remote Highlands.
-
Ruth Knight (@LadyRufus) reported@ClaireMadMax @bt_uk If your internet goes off you can’t make a call either! No mobile signal where I live. Excellent work BT😡
-
Even The Stars Music (@eventhestarsuk) reported@bt_uk hey. Why are you charging me £84 for a package a new customer can now get for £35 and the best price you can offer me is £65 with a 24 month contract? Ripping off long-term customers is a very bad look
-
Anthony (@LookingBack22) reported@juliandc @ClaireMadMax @bt_uk Same here. Now reliant on a broadband connection requiring power. Not progress. iPhone has emergency satellite connection though.
-
Sev (@Sevka_T) reportedHi, I haven't been a customer since 2024 and today I am receiving texts and emails saying my trial is coming to an end. What is going on? @bt_uk
-
Paul Cawood 🇺🇦 (@audlemagronpaul) reported@BritishGas @HefinR @BTCare What authority do you have to act on customer service issues ? Answer that and maybe I’ll DM you.
-
andrealenehan (@tilly4071) reported@bt_uk wow BT - when are you going to learn that supporting loyal customers is just as important as getting new ones. 30 years with BT internet/broadband, paying bills every month means nothing except I have to pay £30 more than a new customer. Account now cancelled!
