BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Graeme Davis (@GraemeDavis) reported@bt_uk Thanks for this @bt_uk - i did manage to speak to a BT *human being* and the problem is outside my home, BUT the process has triggered BT to book a fourth appointment to connect me to fibre. I’ve had three engineers who say it is impossible - Grade 2 listed house in a conservation area; cables would need multiple way leaves, no practical cable access to my house which is permitted by Grade 2, difficulty of routing inflexible cables once inside. I’ve accepted this, fibre cannot be installed to my home. How do I cancel the engineer and not rebook the engineer appointment which has been set up? There appears to be a lock on the system where it can only be rebooked even by BT; cancellation is absolutely impossible. Should I try a letter? Any phone process doesn’t work as operatives are not authorised to cancel but can only rebook.
-
Jon Chadwick (@JonD_Chadwick) reported@bt_uk Thanks. I have tried that. Three times. Doesn't work
-
KG40 (@KG40332532) reported@bt_uk I already tried that. It continues to say that fault is on BT's side. Please fix this.
-
emze (@KerZE87) reported@bt_uk I already know there’s an issue as this was discussed on a community Facebook page. But it would’ve been nice to have been told by email or text that there was an issue.
-
John Richards (@Johnty14) reported@bt_uk Please send me the details of how to make a formal complaint and the information to which ombudsman should be also informed.

-
Angry Scotsman (@Ang_ryScotsman) reported@bt_uk Every time I go into the support we spend two hours. They do automated tests from some call centre abroad and tell me that my system's working fine. It hasn't been working fine since November so I'm just waiting to leave my contract.
-
Karen Badcock 🕷🇦🇫🇺🇦 (@karenbadcock) reported@bt_uk is it possible to speak with someone about serious internet issues in surrounding areas since major roadworks began? I also have a router to return - how is best? Thanks.
-
Graeme Davis (@GraemeDavis) reported@bt_uk That doesn’t work @bt_uk 0330 1234 150 just directs to a txt service. What buttons do I press to speak with someone? I mean to apeak with a real live human being? Is there any way at all to get through to something called a person?
-
jack250213 (@e4290936) reported@bt_uk calling itself 'customer centric ' grates with me after an internal transfer of my broadband went horribly wrong, then four hard searches on my creditworthiness and three attempts to get BT broadband and a TV package also successfully completed by phone after a time on the phone that I regret all fell through with no explanation or apology. Customer centric? You are having a laugh BT!
