@Ofcom Please encourage @bt_uk to make it more obvious that once the BT home phone service goes digital as the PSTN is being switched off 999 calls cannot be made in the event of a power cut or broadband failure. On their comms its in the small print.

  • JTyrrell_ Joe Tyrrell (@JTyrrell_) reported from Lambeth, England

Wow, @bt_uk your customer service and internal systems are utterly disappointing. First you send me the wrong kit multiple times over 5 weeks(!) and then send me a message telling me if I don’t return the most recent one, I’ll be charged £50 - eventhough its STILL the wrong kit!

2/ ... has been a challenge this year. She’s had her account since the 70s and never pays late. I stressed when I spoke to @bt_uk in her presence on her behalf in Oct NOT to cut her off and to have a note on her account that she’s vulnerable. I have just sat with her to do a...

@bt_uk Can I have my £100 please. We don't get reliable wifi in any room, and you want £78000+ to fix it. (No joke). Then, we don't live in a big city, so in your eyes don't count.

  • bridgetcam7 Bridget Cameron (@bridgetcam7) reported

1/ Very unimpressed with @bt_uk Cut a vulnerable 83-year old woman’s line off, including her emergency alarm for not paying her bill. She’s unable to get out due to COVID and shielding, she has a bad back and is in pain, she pays her bills at the post office so getting there ...

@bt_uk Information sent, any explanation would be useful, we are currently having to take leave/ pass duties to relief colleagues, and BT insist on either emailing or relying on us having to drive to somewhere to get signal to ring to get fobbed off.
