Said my bband speed slow so played along for a while. (I'm xBT). Their objective to get access to your device via IP address. I blocked their number then the cheeky b**gers rang me again on 3 separate days using diff numbers.

My broadband & TV provider is @TalkTalk on moving in we discovered that there was no line coming in to the property and that it was a BT Openreach issue. 6 weeks later I’m still without internet. If its covered there you're legal expenses insurer will pay for the damage to be repaired allowing you to pick the folks that fix it. Then your insurer can have the hassle of chasing BT to get their money back. Worth a phone call.

Parents are pensioners. I bought their phones 4-5 yrs ago. We're not made of money to replace them again due to BT!
