They said there was nothing they could do to stop the account being cancelled and I had to switch to EE. Apart from anything my broadband is slower now aswell.

Service providers will always try everything to keep you, but it will often be once you’ve made the decision to move. I had no less than. 5 calls from @virginmedia when I cancelled my contract. That. Explained the network problem at my new place and added the agony we have had with EE BB. Must say consistent service by both the CS teams, zero Fs given by them 👌🏼 Can’t wait to finish my obligatory contract.

I had to walk up the road and basically shout my account details at someone to try and fix it. What would happen if there was an emergency? I couldn’t call 999.
