They claim you can gift 100GB but they don’t tell you until after that if you use data, that reduces your giftable allowance. Clear misselling here and even the @ee customer services agree!

So even though i have FTTP the 'best option' is really that i have no way of logging a fault online for my EE Broadband other than ring a number between 8AM & 8PM.
