@EE Despite my phone stating I have a 5G signal, I cannot use my phone at St. James' Park, Newcastle. People on other networks don't seem to have this issue. I've tried manual selection of network, switching off 5G etc. but no joy. Why is this happening?

@EE Hi yeah it's ne290rt, North shields, honestly it's been going on for nearly a year, signal is shocking around our area, I have rang up a few times. Was told I was not in a contract so I could get another provider, found that comment so wrong, have been a customer for years

@paulchowdhry @EE @btsport Download the bt app (if you are new customer) when registering it should give you option as EE customer. Fill in form then you should be good to go. Can take upto 24 hrs.

@EE Hi Chris, Yes it was a store I went to yesterday, and apparently there was a system issue so I couldn’t book in a repair or get a replacement phone. Someone was supposed to contact me when things were back up and running, but no-one has called. My phone has since worsened.

@EE Two chats and I can go to a different site and get cheaper off the shelf. In fact my current deal is more expensive than new deals with 5G and more data. I’m already on a bad deal. My 24 months are up so standard upgrade.
