MK ๐ฌ๐ง (@mk_hostile17) reported@GillRaeWalker @LeilaniDowding @EE Conventional PSTN is being shut down. Conventional landlines are now delivered over your broadband connection. Your conventional telephone plugs in to the router and voice calls are digital Broadband connection may be fixed wireless access but this has got nothing to do with WiFi
-

-
CraigH (@cragz_uk) reported@stuuk11 @LeilaniDowding @EE Copper is being phased out for Fibre Optic not WIFI. Maybe its different for mobile companies but you would have to be insane to get your home phone and internet service with a mobile network company.
-
Burytownfan (@shardcreek) reported@EE really bad experience today. Engineers supposed to turn up to setup broadband, waited 8 hours, no show, no telephone call, called customer service spent 35 minutes on hold to be told they were coming. Just got an automated text: sorry we missed you book another appointment
-
Cuddly Uncle Steve (@kccpiggy) reported@EE Nope!! Doesnโt work ! Gets me through to a bot, to report a FAULT , and then it tells me that an engineer has been booked for Wednesday . No one to fix my unbreakable wifi .. Utterly disappointing - unable to work or enjoy my paid subscriptions for 5 days .. Dreadful..
-
Ian Wardell (@ian_wardell) reported@EE As I've said, I've already tried around 20 times, and I've already said this 150 simply doesn't work, hence cannot be a legitimate number. How many more times must I try?? If one has to have a mobile contract with EE than this would explain it.
-
Maisie the Tortie / Margaret ๐ฌ๐ง๐จ๐ฆ (@maisiethetortie) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE We had no landline, no internet and no mobile signal last week due to issues with Vodafone . I had to walk up the road and basically shout my account details at someone to try and fix it. What would happen if there was an emergency? I couldnโt call 999.
-
businessdragonseye (@mentorthedragon) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE That ship has sailed. The old analogue phone network is being switched off in January. Either you have a mobile as backup or you buy a battery backup. (Uninterruptable Power Supply UPS). BT/EE or whatever their name is this week will supply them for vulnerable people.
-
IVOR MECTIN (@IVORMECTIN4) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE We had a power cut Saturday, WE LOST OUR BROADBAND CONNECTION FOR 4 HOURS. the providers of our fibre optic broadband had a recorded message on their phone line to "email them" or use their website to report an issue !
