Opened a jade account with @HSBC_UK after making a move from @StarlingBank. Very first transaction from the new account…Fail! Transaction seems to have gone thru, but get an error message saying there was a problem!Hate to compare but Starling App was so perfectly engineered

It never ceases to amaze me that a full service bank @HSBC_UK can be so unhelpful. I only wanted to pay in a cheque (rarity I know) into my @firstdirect account, but it was all so much hassle. Machines not working, no paying in slips. Unhelpful staff! FD you are so much better!!

@HSBC_UK the paper statements and notifications are criminal waste of money, paper and efforts. I am sure most clients would be happy to receive soft copies. You should offer this service free or reduce charges

@HSBC_UK Hi Abi. Will call tomorrow then but asking customers to roll back is not acceptable. The issue here is the bank, not the apple software. All other banks (Barclays, Bank of America, Revolut and Wise in my case) work perfectly fine.

@scottgardner76 @HSBC_UK If the bank does not release a statement soon I’ll have to change my payroll to another bank. I can’t touch my money because to log in on the computer you need a code from the app. I can only use debit card.

Has anyone been short changed by a bank cash point in Ealing Broadway centre? Done by @LBGplc bank about 6m ago, who then denied the £20 list - today @HSBC_UK deducted £80 out of £100 as an ad hoc service charge. Never happened before, over 40 years. This time it’ll be law!

@bat1150gs @HSBC_UK It’s awful. My salary gets paid on that account and I’ve been locked out for weeks now. Their response is to install on another device. Not even the web option works as you need a security code in the app.

@HSBC_UK HSBC always have busy phone lines. I guess because too many people have complaints about their s**t services and incompetent team. HSBC have no appreciation about customer's time however their time very valuable. They don't have even an email of their complaints' department.

@HSBC_UK 1/2.I understand all that. By forcing me onto digital key if I want to use the app means when the app goes down I lose all access to my accounts. Whereas currently using the physical key means when the app is down I can still use online banking.

@HSBC @HSBC_UK is falling apart! Customer service is dead; online support to reset password; telephone support services do not work. Now at the bank, there is not enough staff to help, they close at 3pm and at least 3 of us are here for the same reason! #pointless #disband!

@Ianbmrt @HSBC_UK We tried moving to Barclays, but this is proving difficult (hours to answer the phone, etc), so are now giving Virgin a go as they seem keen to help. This is for Club/Society accounts with online banking.

Had 2 calls with @HSBC_UK regarding an item on my credit card. 1st Agent verified me and was putting me through to to another department. I ended up back at the beginning. The next Agent asking the same questions as the first would not verify me. So problem cannot be resolved😡
