Michael Jones (@mikej2504) reported from Walderslade, England
@virginmedia When I am advised by City Fibre when the service is going live I will then choose an alternative supplier all of which will be cheaper than Virgin and then advise when I would want your service disconnected
-
grizzly_gooner (@GoonerGrizzly) reported from Thundersley, England
@virginmedia I have spoken to your CS team about raising a complaint and have been told that the complaints procedure is for existing customers. As I am yet to go live, I am not considered a customer and therefore have no where to go.
-
Luther Blissett (@LutherB40510976) reported from London, England
@virginmedia what is the number for your complaints department? It seems impossible to actually terminate my contract with you. Am I in the Hotel California?
-
Michael Jones (@mikej2504) reported from Walderslade, England
@virginmedia offers social tariff of £12.50 for 15mb which is slow. Better option almost anyone with BT £12.50 for 36mb and Vodafone £12.50 for 38mb. Virgin also has £20 for 54mb but is higher price than most others offering same.
-
Andee Byford (@BobCratchitt) reported from Romford, England
@virginmedia Yes I have checked the service status, it is the first thing I do & all was fine. The issues is with the cable Ethernet & the phone connection in the Hub 4. I don’t use your WiFi setup as my house is fully cabled for networking. I am a Network Architect, so have done basic tests
-
Lewis Allen ⚒ (@_Lewis_A) reported from Romford, England
On phone to @virginmedia for 55 mins to cancel, speak to 4 different people about a mis-sold service and then when I ask them to produce my contract they hang up. Not happy.
-
Bernie Biggs (@Biggsy58) reported from Bexleyheath, England
@virginmedia putting their tariffs up by 17.3% from 1st April - that’s 3.9% over the Retail Price Index Inflation of 13.4%…people getting nowhere near this sort of increase in their pay packets…hang your heads in shame especially in a cost of living crisis.
-
grizzly_gooner (@GoonerGrizzly) reported from Thundersley, England
@virginmedia A number of times. But let’s be honest, they’re nothing but messengers. There is no escalation, and they can’t even call the construction company to escalate issues. As someone who has worked within many projects teams, and mapped business processes, yours is simply shocking
-
Gingerbread Man (@bigben9696) reported from Rainham, England
@virginmedia no Internet and the website down....have you tried turning yourself off and on again?
-
grizzly_gooner (@GoonerGrizzly) reported from Thundersley, England
@virginmedia This seems to be the standard message coming from Virgin Media. “Computer says no”. If you can’t see the issue with this then you (Virgin Media) are the problem. I’m inclined to contact the ombudsman as you have sold me a service which you blatantly cannot provide or install.
-
Scott Wickham (@Scott_Wic) reported from Rochester, England
@virginmedia My request to support was about the hub5 and some Wi-Fi extenders/boosters which I’m entitled to, they said that it was sorted and would be in the post and now only the hub5 has turned up!!! Does this mean I have to contact support again…….

Lewis Allen ⚒ (@_Lewis_A) reported from Romford, England

-
Brenda (@joybrenda) reported from London, England
@virginmedia help why have you made it so difficult to log a landline vault on line. Need to call, as line out of order since friday. I am certain it's systems fault as display message I have seen on previous occasions.
-
David Ball (@dicksielives) reported from Romford, England
Hi @virginmedia I ordered a new phone via my wife (who is already on Virgin mobile) last Friday. I was told to wait for a confirmation email which I still have not received. Can you help? I have the order No.
-
Luther Blissett (@LutherB40510976) reported from London, England

Mark Orsborn (@MarkOrsborn) reported
@1GoldPLTrophy @virginmedia Sky broadband is just awful though, runs at bare minimum speed (degraded over time and despite questioning won’t go back again) and really need a much faster connection. What’s the reason not to?
-
Martin Allen (@martinallen78) reported
@MartinSLewis As usual though @virginmedia having the trousers down for existing customers. When can we get the same rules as insurance that existing customers don't get robbed (I'm £45 a month with virgin but no phone line and wouldn't be allowed this deal) nice MSE gets a kick back though.
-
Lo (@Ace007Mac) reported
@virginmedia I don't know, as some devices are completely wireless. I had asked when I called & again in my complaint for an engineer to take a look, nothing was arranged for me. I've not been offered a replacement hub to try either. I was just continually told to troubleshoot.
-
FIT BY NATURE (@FitbyNature2) reported
@virginmedia As I said before it’s a new contract which has not even started as connection is currently not possible so 30 days notice is irrelevant hence we are exercising our right to cancel in the cooling off period. Seriously is this how you operate as a company! So nothing in writing
-
Wayne Bristow (@therealwannieb) reported
@virginmedia can someone PLEASE get in contact with me from your team, as even your WhatsApp customer service team seems to not be very good at resolving an issue that you caused.
-
owen southworth (@obpls1995) reported from Wigan, England
@virginmedia can you explain why the moment I told your staff over the phone that I was disabled they decided to speak to me as if I was an idiot and then tell me they can't help me because I can't spell out my password despite telling them 5 times what the password was.
-
Adnan Khan (@akhan1994) reported
@virginmedia that the issue would be resolved by 6pm today. I’ve now received another update saying it’ll be done tomorrow at 4. What’s the issue? Why are your engineers incompetent to fix the problem? People are working from home and have to spend additional money travelling to

ben white fan account (@1GoldPLTrophy) reported
@MarkOrsborn @virginmedia They recently changed my contract and are refusing to terminate it early and dismiss the early termination charges (which by law they have too), all at the same time as offering me worse deals. Very ignorant staff that didn't submit a complaint I logged either
