Well since complaining on here about @virginmedia and their terrible phone calls last week I’ve had 5 calls in the last three days all trying to sell me the same upgrade. Absolutely this close (fingers mms apart) from cancelling with them completely. FFS sort it out!

@virginmedia why am I having daily and sometimes multiple outages with your broadband service? Checked service status which always says everything is fine. It's so fine I need to switch off WiFi on my devices and use 4G. Thoughts welcome.

@virginmedia Have had the box maybe 5 years (can't remember). It's connected via wired ethernet from an IP over Power unit connected to VM service > 200Mb/s so no issue with speed. The Samsung apps use the same connection and don't have this problem.

@virginmedia I only ever used the Ethernet cable plugged directly into a games console. On the games console WiFi speeds are roughly 10mbps download, sometimes as low as 2mbps, with an Ethernet it’s 100+. Which shows something is stopping a strong wifi signal throughout.

@virginmedia You should be paying me to stay! Your service didn’t go live to begin with and required an engineer and 2 weeks later it’s down and has been since 7am. How is anyone suppose to work from home when the basics of an internet connection cannot be provided?
