@DoctorBeeching1 @virginmedia The call centre system is a nightmare. Outsourced I'm guessing. Never use the live chat whatever you do. I made a complaint after that experience which was closed down without any further contact. Gone with Sky for the new house.

@virginmedia been having issues with signal on my virgin mobile phone all week, read that it was suposed to have been resolved yesterday but still having intermittent issues this morning. No wonder I am rolling over 10GB of data when I don't get an opportunity to use it 😡

@virginmedia I then mentioned about ur sky sports oomph bundle online at £46 n got told new customers only so no loyalty given n got told this was the same on media providers which again I know is a lie. So basically wanting me to pay an extra £30-40 a month because am not a new customer

@virginmedia As to which they couldn’t help me line kept going quite so didn’t know if hung up or on hold. Then all of a sudden I was passed through to someone else who I believe was from ur cancellation team who again said couldn’t help n best been on my current contract.

@virginmedia Did it on 10/10...nothing showed, called again 17/10 and yes it finally showed online but till this date it still isnt actioned as no new bill has been generated either. Told not to pay and now arrears and bad mark on cred file.

Called up @virginmedia for an hour and 12 minutes to finally get through to someone to cancel our package as we're moving soon. And because we insisted we didn't want to renew and just wanted to cancel, the guy put the phone down on us. Still no canceled contact. Disgraceful.

@philipbrown @virginmedia Tbf, the actual broadband service has been great. I’m moving at can’t get VM in the new place, which is a shame. They have this neat-in-theory SMS support system, where you can shift your move request away from the phone and the browser, but it doesn’t really work well.

@lukeisabrennan They'll say they're providing a service for their huge audience of Irish people supporting English clubs. If it was Virgin Media doing this I'd get it, but RTE as our license fee funded national broadcaster shouldn't be doing this and should be doing way more in terms of the LOI.

@philipbrown @virginmedia With an open choice, I’d go with @Hyperoptic but they seem mainly concentrated around apartment blocks and high-density areas. Biggest outage with VM over 5 years was maybe a couple of hours, and only a few times. Can’t fault the speed, just the online options for a/c mgmt.
