@virginmedia Virgin generously said if I pay nearly £150 I can leave! I declined.. although i would have the £2 offered as compensation but I think I'll spend that on half a starbucks. I'll wait till my contract is up & im free. sky from what i can gather will be gaining shit loads of peeps!

@virginmedia I've tried rebooting router. You have to select alexa in wifi settings and that's when it says your internet may not be connected. My mobile no problem.

@virginmedia hi I've tried for over a week now to contact on the phone. Since changing to Virginmedia my Amazon Alexa wont work keeps saying broadband not set up purple light going on and off please help I've wasted so much time trying to contact I'm not happy with service at all

@virginmedia I’m afraid you’ve used the new deal trick before and look where we are. I am stuck without internet for a week and paying for a poor and inconsistent service. The server for my postcode M210ZN is down. Yet my wife who was working less than a mile away had no problems.

@virginmedia Nope.. i was told as its an outage fault which only effects a few addresses in my area. It doesn't show on a general test. Cant get an answer from anyone at virgin as to when it will be sorted. Its becoming a joke now.

After 48+ hours I’m still without any phone service. Despite being in contact with customer support at @virginmedia for over 48 hours. Had to buy a temporary @EE SIM card in the end. Fed up and frustrated to say the least.

@virginmedia Finally got through. Total loss of service - not expected to be fully back on until 29th of August! That’s nearly a week! Your service is appalling and you have the gall to be charging more. We will be looking at changing suppliers immediately.

@virginmedia Your chat service is extremely poor. I tried to change my package yesterday to remove an extra Virgin box - but extra channels have also been removed. I have been on chat twice to try and sort but they haven't even understood the issue. Very disappointing.

@virginmedia Thanks. We spoke to Customer Care and unfortunately no resolution. Only very limited options available and a lack of transparency over pricing. So we have decided to go with another supplier even though our preference was VM given we have broadband with you already.
