Does anyone know of a service worse than @virginmedia? Our home phone went down 5 weeks ago and we were promised an engineer in 10 days, yet still no one has come. I have tried ringing the customer help number a number of times but after about 1 hour 15 mins it rings off. Help!

@virginmedia If I remember correctly, he was supposed to come back with a ladder to check the cables outside the building. The connection goes down on all the devices at the same time.

@virginmedia please can you share an email address for complaints. I have not had my issues resolved and there is only a postal address. (Which I assume isn’t monitored due to Covid) I am also sending the same complaint to Ofcom and CISAS.

@virginmedia Thank you for your reply. We had a technician out over 5 weeks ago to check the landline. He told us the cable in the road was damaged and it would take 10 days to fix. That was nearly 6 weeks ago and we have heard nothing since and can’t get through to your customer services.

@virginmedia No change to devices being used, it starts to slow down from 500 to 30 between 9-11pm then nothing at all for around 30mins then back up.

@sir_frankuk @Mexico1978R @virginmedia Don’t sign up to anything with the Virgin branding. Talk Talk is equally dire as is BT. Good talkers but if things go wrong not only are you on your own they will make it much worse. Ironically, Plusnet which is owned by BT has great customer service and telecom engineers.

@virginmedia When we took out the contract 12 months ago I discussed my parents age, lack of IT skills and dependency on good customer service and was advised that they would be treated as a priority if there were ever issues. They haven’t even been given a courtesy call

@virginmedia have to be the worst broadband provider ever. Customers get punished and penalised for their loyalty. I'm not criticising the call guys who are only doing their jobs but the company itself is an absolute disgrace. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy
