Never had a problem with @SkyUK but when I’m out of contract and @virginmedia could give me a better deal, of course I am going to switch. What I don’t like is how unprofessional the sky agent was about the fact I was switching to Virgin ... NOT NEEDED 🤬

@virginmedia All fine now - but TBH we're probably going to cancel. Our contract is up its going up from £70 to £85/month. To sign a new deal is a £82. Your offer to new customers is £45. I can't be bothered with this hassle every few months so am looking at sky. Thanks for checking though 👍

@CateSevilla @virginmedia They then tried to fine me for not sending their 'hub' back and refused to refund the house move cost I'd paid a few months earlier. So so incompetent! SO stressful when all of us work from home too. I moved to TalkTalk & is cheaper and no problems so far, at least :)

@virginmedia My service is fine. But why not integrate SIM or similar into routers, with 02 or whoever, for backup connectivity. SIM could filter spam too when router is online.

@virginmedia It seems the 'outage' deleted the network settings on the tivo box. Reentered them & it solved the issue. Might be worth mentioning it to other customers so they can fix their issue. I did put a tweet out this morning explaining what I did & might help

@virginmedia I'm just a little confused as to how the power supply to your entire national TV service links into the function of your website, which was down too. Also no backup power supply for either of these things? Usually a server hosting a major commercial website would have that.
